Lovely friendly, cosy & welcoming cafe. Food & service first class.
Fabulous breakfast & tasty cream tea. The staff have a folder with the history of the area which they kindly gave us to look at.
A prebooked meal for 3 ladies. The pub was very quiet and we're shown to our reserved table.
I ordered a vegetarian dish, brie, cranberry and walnut Wellington served with new potatoes and fresh veg.
One friend had liver and bacon withe new potatoes and veg.
The other friend had chicken breast with a wine sauce and the same vegs as us.
Our meals were very nice and even managed a dessert.
2 of us had a cheese cake and I had Baileys bread and butter pudding with ice cream.
All very delicious.
We chatted a lot and weren't asked to leave although we were the last to leave, they were open until 11PM tonight.

Update : 3rd time here and it truly is one of the best hotels in London. The Garden Terrace Suite is the nicest hotel room in London. The entire staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. 1 hotel Mayfair is luxury at its finest, highly recommend staying here.
Stunning interiors, amazing location, World class staff. This dog friendly hotel makes you feel like you are at home while traveling. It’s welcoming and inviting, a calming yet uplifting space. They were so kind to our dog Winston, he absolutely loved the staff.
How many times do you go to a hotel and develop a first name relationship with the staff … well at the 1 Hotel Mayfair it happened multiple times. Matt the elite Maitre D’ Moe, Marco, and Giulio are running a world class bar at Dover Yard, that impressed us with amazing drinks at the gorgeous bar
The restaurant, the lounge, the lobby, the room, everything about the hotel is designed to perfection. I may say, it’s one of, if not THE coolest hotel in London.

Excellent restaurant with great service in a cool setting. This is a Michelin star restaurant that has a tasting menu of either 5 or 8 courses. It's set in an... Old bank... They've kept some of the old fittings and the atmosphere is great. The vault is now the wine cellar. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the food was excellent.
We turned up today on a wet and windy day. They bent over backwards to serve us. Then when we asked for the best taxi service locally they informed us just how difficult it would be.
Within seconds they offered us a ride back to our campsite. Can’t recommend enough
