I recently stayed at the 1 Hotel Mayfair for several nights, would rate this stay at 3.5 stars or so. From the very first moment the service was excellent. The location is also excellent and close to a tube station. However, I did have some issues with our room; the main thing is that post showering there would be a terrible stench of manure coming from the shower that would fill the room until the shower dried completely. At this level of hotel this isn't the experience one would expect. A more minor issue is that the TV would change channel on its own out of nowhere. All that being said, I would stay in this hotel again, but I would be sure to check the shower situation as soon as I get the room to make sure I don't have the same issue.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Location is of course great in Mayfair just off Berkeley Square but the magic is the hotel itself. The freshness with lots of plants, natural materials and an amazing smell makes the hotel special. Mix that with a very trendy feel and super friendly staff throughout and you got a top London hotel. Also, what’s unusual even in a 5 star hotel is that they come and service you room multiple times a day for complete freshness. The bar is happening and we loved the add of a DJ later in the evening. What didn’t we like? Pretty much nothing although I found it a bit ”odd” that they add a service charge to your room per night which is simply a tip. It’s voluntary and I don’t mind to pay a tip in the bar or restaurant but on the actual room!? Nah.

We had an unforgettable stay at 1 Hotel Mayfair last year when we attended Stevie Nicks' performance at Hyde Park. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly doormen who made us feel so welcome. They were not only professional but went above and beyond with their friendly chats and helpful service. The entire staff was exceptional, but we'd like to give a special mention to the lovely lady who checked us in. Her warm welcome set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible experience. The room itself was modern, immaculately clean, and perfectly equipped. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, ensuring our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. Thank you so much to everyone at 1 Hotel Mayfair for making our trip truly special. We can’t wait to return!

Prescription pills littered over the floor (be careful parents). I didn’t have children with me fortunately. We did enjoy the convenient location. Service was very mediocre. When mistakes happen, it’s hard to overlook the staff ignoring your emails which only leads to more frustration. Much better run hotels in London, and really disappointing as I’ve stayed at several 1 Hotel properties. Hopefully this feedback helps them improve.

Just love this hotel - from the moment you step into this wonderful hotel - the experience begins - all the staff are very attentive and friendly. I recently stayed at this newly opened hotel in Mayfair with my family for almost 10 days on August the 2nd, 2024, spending approximately £21,000 on rooms. While the property itself showed promise, my experience was deeply disappointing, particularly regarding their loyalty program. I expected my stay to reflect positively on the hotel’s rewards program keeping in mind i stayed in the same chain of hotels in Newyork & LA , but as of November, no points have been added despite multiple communications and complaints to the management team . This is unacceptable, especially given the significant expenditure and time invested in addressing the issue. I understand that the hotel and its loyalty program are new, but the inefficiency and lack of responsiveness are troubling. Compared to other well established loyalty programs & hotels , this one falls far short in terms of effectiveness and customer care. If the hotel continues with such a poor, unreliable rewards system, it will struggle to compete with other premium brands. This experience has left me questioning my loyalty to the brand, and I would advise potential guests to consider alternatives until they address these serious shortcomings. I really hope higher management steps up and solve the issue without replying on google with fake promises and solutions.

I recently stayed at One Hotel Mayfair, and while there were some positives, several issues affected my overall experience. The rooms are very clean, with a unique style and cozy vibe, but they are quite small, which might not suit everyone. The staff were generally friendly, and the concierge and doormen were exceptional—helpful, polite, and attentive. I’d rate them a solid 10/10! However, I encountered several problems: 1. I love ordering online when I’m in London because of the convenience of one-day delivery. The first package arrived without any issues, but the second package was torn open, and the third package, although confirmed as delivered and signed for by the receptionist, never made it to my room. This was frustrating and raised concerns about how deliveries are handled. 2. The Dover Yard restaurant was underwhelming. The food was average (6/10), and the service was slow (5/10). If you’re short on time, I’d recommend avoiding it. The biggest issue for me was the lack of safety and security regarding my belongings. I accidentally left my AirPods on the table at the restaurant, which was nearly empty at the time, so I’m certain the waiter must have seen them. I called the restaurant directly just minutes later, but no one has followed up with me since. This lack of responsiveness and accountability is unacceptable, especially for a high-end hotel. Ensuring guests’ belongings are safe should be a top priority. While the rooms and some staff were excellent, these issues left me dissatisfied. I won’t be returning, as safety and security are my top priorities. I hope management takes these concerns seriously for the sake of future guests.

This is currently my favorite hotel in London. It truly has everything you could want or need. My travel team and I spent a few hours touring the hotel before wrapping up our day with a visit to Dover Tail, which alone is reason enough to stay here. The location is unbeatable, and the hospitality is on a whole other level. I returned soon after for a personal stay with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and they treated me like royalty! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, and the beds are so comfortable—you’ll melt right in. Thank you, Scott, for taking such wonderful care of us during our staycation. We can’t wait to return for Christmas!

We stayed here for 6 nights in September. The people working at the front desk were great, but the true stars are the two gentlemen working at the front door during the weekdays. I referred to them as the A-Team: Andy (who shows up on the hotel website's video) and Carlo. They were always welcoming with a big smile and created the first and continued impression of the hotel. Unfortunately, on the weekend it is not the same without them. On 9/21 later at night, I returned to the hotel and the person at the door rudely asked if I was staying there. I just returned from drinks at the Savoy and the doormen there and at the Connaught were always friendly. The Skyline Junior Suite was beautiful with a tasteful contemporary design, nicely scented/ non- perfumed bath products, espresso machine, filtered water tap/water bottle, etc. It was also a nice touch to be welcomed with a bottle of champagne and treats as well. A couple of things that could make the experience much better is the addition of a floor length mirror and more outlets. The Dyson hair dryer is wonderful, but there are no outlets near any mirror to use it. We also tried breakfast once at Dovetale and while the setting was beautiful, the service was abysmal and cold. After that experience, we were not interested in returning for dinner. The location is convenient to shopping, Buckingham Palace and other major sites. The restaurant experience, one particular doorman and some room quirks prevent a 5 star review.

Stayed at 1Hotel at Mayfair and had a wonderful experience. From the spacious rooms, to the great service at the bar to the location next to everything! My stay was both enjoyable and relaxing, the best kept secret bar none was the burger and fries! What an amazing dish. One unfortunate incident happened at breakfast when the waiter got us the wrong order even though we were in a hurry the concierge was able to have a quick remedy and send us on our way happy 😁 Definitely looking forward to our next stay

Great hotel, excellent spa, bar is fantastic. BUT - the Neighbors cafe should really consider a no laptop policy, or at least move those digital nomads to Dover Yard. All the people working there on their laptops are killing the ambience. They turn such a great space into a Starbucks. And It’s impossible to get a seat! If you want to work somewhere with wifi, AC and drinks served, there’s literally a Starbucks across the road. 1 Hotel Management should reflect on this and make their entryway lounge enjoyable for people who come here to meet.

Stunning interiors, amazing location, World class staff. This dog friendly hotel makes you feel like you are at home while traveling. It’s welcoming and inviting, a calming yet uplifting space. They were so kind to our dog Winston, he absolutely loved the staff. How many times do you go to a hotel and develop a first name relationship with the staff … well at the 1 Hotel Mayfair it happened multiple times. From Mickey, the elite doorman, that gave us a personal tour of the hotel and made us feel welcomed, to Moe, the bar manager that impressed us with amazing drinks at the gorgeous bar, and Terri, who sat and spoke with us and made us feel like true guests in the hotel, not just a customer. The restaurant, the lounge, the lobby, the room, everything about the hotel is designed to perfection. I may say, it’s one of, if not THE coolest hotel in London. We went to Dovetale London for brunch today and it was absolutely superb! The food was absolutely immaculate, especially the crab omlette! The staff and service was spot on, so attentive, so friendly. We were even accompanied by some beautiful music from a live pianist. Great location. Amazing staff Many thanks for Daria at reception for her outstanding help and coordination. She did beyond normal job to reach the level of marketing the hotel in nice way. I hated my room since it was small , but she managed that by showing us other options at good rate for upgrade .. well done . In general very nice hotel , great location . Very friendly staff . Few things need to be fixed like shower path , and pillows are not comfortable...but these are minior things . I am frequent travellors , i used another hotel for 3 years , but now I would like to be regular customer to 1 Hotel also highly recommending it for London.

Nothing to write home about. The restaurant is very small and verging om dingy/ dark. Most of the lights were flickering constantly. That's fine if you're going for a 'hole in the wall, off beaten track' vibe, but if you're markering for fine french dining in EC, maybe change a light bulb occasionally. The restrooms were pretty dirty and their decor unloved for that level of restaurant. Food wise, the bread served with the meal was wholesale cheap stuff that you would expect to see at a Premier Inn, and the butter tasted weirdly off- ie like it had begun to ferment from being left unrefrigerated for too long. Serving salted butter might be a better choice for such instance. But again, for high- level French dining, fresh whipped butter and warm fresh bread is usually a nice addition to the meal. The main meal was certainly pleasant, fresh and well balanced. Starter was trout ceviche followed by cod. It lacked any real depth of flavour and seasoning. I would expect to have just as pleasant a fish meal in any upscale seaside pub- ie tasty and fresh but not sophisticated (but probably at half the price paid here). There was no wine pairing or recommendations by the waiters. The wine was again fairly underwhelming and the selection was rather limited (which is fine if curated well, but this wasn't the case). Waiting staff were prompt, professional and friendly. The restaurant is so tiny that you find yourself bumping into them on entry and exit, however. In summation, if you have plenty of disposable income and not much time to book a reservation in advance, then this will probably just about fit the bill, but it would be better value for money to get on the Eurostar and hit the nearest bistro when you get to the other side!

Private club dedicated mainly to the Armed Forces located in central London. A sophisticated atmosphere, quality, courtesy, elegant furnishings with an antique flavor and friendly staff make this place a precious environment for members and their guests. There is also an internal courtyard where in summer you can stay outdoors eating and drinking with your guests or friends. The Club also has a wonderful library, with many volumes relating to military history. If you have the chance, stop by even just for a drink. Very easy access, as it is right in the center of London.

I recently stayed at Canopy while searching for long-term accommodation in London due to a work relocation from Shanghai. This hotel is incredibly pet-friendly, and I had a wonderful month there with my cat and dog. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to DLR, Elizabeth Line, and Central Line. Nearby, you can find Tesco, Sainsbury's, Co-op, as well as numerous Chinese supermarkets and restaurants. What stood out the most was the friendliness of ALL STAFF. I would like to extend special thanks to the front desk team, the housekeeping staff, and the Guest Relationship Manager, Devika, for their assistance throughout my stay. They not only provided me with recommendations for suitable rental areas but also frequently checked on my pets. They prepared pet bowls, treats, and a cozy bed for them, and adjusted the housekeeping schedule to accommodate my pets.❤️ Without a doubt, my month here has set a positive tone for my life in London. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for those traveling with pets, as it truly is a pet-friendly haven.🐱🐶:)
