Small venue, with beautifully cooked, flavoursome food. We had hake, duck and steak, and everyone very happy with their choice. Deserts delicious too.

The Star kindly agreed to host mum’s wake on Friday. It couldn’t have gone better, communication before hand was efficient, drinks and buffet lunch for 50 served with efficiency. Very welcoming for children, family and friends. I was even contacted to be asked about mums favourite music so that they could put a background play list together. Thank you so much for accommodating us in your local friendly pub.

Whilst touring around we stopped here for lunch and so glad we did. A very pleasant cafe, lovely people running it , great food. The first thing you notice is how well kept and clean this place is. Secondly it’s difficult to choose from the varied menu, so many favourites.! So pleased I chose the sausage and mash. Never thought I’d rave about sausage & mash but it was lovely. Everything is cooked to perfection with high quality ingredients. Well worth a visit. If I lived nearby I’d be eating there regularly

Another fantastic meal at Laurel House. Everything was absolutely delicious. The kids all had burgers which they loved and I had chicken which had an excellent peri peri kick! The chips are amazing!!

We love visiting Bridlington during the quiet times of the year and ALWAYS base our visit around making sure we visit the Three.Bs. Cracking pub, always welcoming, first class beer with great variety (a credit to Mark) and spot on for a natter or just your own company. Jane and Nigel (Harrogate)

Well what can I say, Toni's is a fabulous little tea room located on the sea front. We visited just before lunch as we wanted a snack & a drink. Pobably the best I've visited on the Isle Of Wight, lovely staff, a restful atmosphere and above all, freshly made food. Oh, how could I forget, the beautiful little dog Tolusha, fast asleep on a chair she made her own, bless her. If we are ever back on the IOW, we'll definitely return again. Highly recommended. I have been to a fair few restaurants in my time but I was utterly blown away by this place. The food. The atmosphere and the service you could not fault. My girlfriend and I went all out and got the grande set menu and we didn’t regret it. Some people have mentioned the price is steep but when you can BYOB and get as many refills as you want AND take what you can’t finish home it really is very well priced for such great quality food. What can normally fall short where there is great food…is the service and atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed, well informed and the whole experience allowed us to engage with the staff like we had known them for ages. The mighty duo were the wonderful Cassidy and Alanah. They were attentive, they made us hungry, they made us laugh they simply were the best front of house staff I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The whole experience was so special I went back a week later with my brother and sister who also could not stop praising the wonderful experience they had. So it’s proof that this was not a one off experience. So if you haven’t been. Go! NOTE. Try and save space for the Mango Sorbet and their own Amrutha Tea to wash it all down with. A massive thank you to everyone at Amrutha Honor Oak including the chefs outback making such tasty dishes!

La Terra Un Nuevo Bar , una Nueva Cocina y Nuevos platos en el menú todo hecho para otra increíble experiencia gastronómica en la Terra. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida a la llegada antes de ser acompañados al bar que es ahora donde comenzará su almuerzo / cena. Aquí podrá relajarse con un cóctel o una copa de champán mientras disfruta de deliciosos aperitivos y una charla con el equipo. Luego será llevado al comedor reformado y verá la nueva cocina. Tomamos asiento en nuestra mesa 10 habitual y esperamos a que comenzaran las festividades. Primero fue una charla con la mejor sumiller María para discutir nuestra preferencia por el vino. Ahora era el momento para el Nuevo primer plato e impresionante que iba a ser. El Hamachi Calabaza / Jackfruit / Tucupi era absolutamente delicioso. Esto fue seguido por la Codorniz , Tortellini en Brodo / Trufa Negra , Masa Madre , La Moqueca antes de la llegada del asombroso Nuevo plato principal. El británico Wagyu Beef , Cep / Cavolo Nero / Lobster Rice personalmente pensé que era el plato destacado del día. El siguiente en venir fue el Romeo y Juliette (plato de queso) , el Baba antes de terminar con el Nuevo postre de Higo , Yogur de Oveja / Sagu / Oxalis. Terminamos con café y petit fours para traer y terminar una tarde fabulosa. La comida era impresionante, los maridajes de vinos eran increíbles y el servicio era de primera clase. El New Bar es una gran adición y un lugar maravilloso para disfrutar de un aperitivo o digestivo. La nueva cocina se ve fabuloso y ahora se obtiene una excelente vista de todo el equipo en el trabajo. Rafael , Charlie y el equipo han estado continuamente empujando hacia adelante cada año en la búsqueda de la perfección absoluta y personalmente algo que creo que no está lejos. Muchas Gracias a todo el equipo por una experiencia gastronómica increíble y esperamos verlos a todos pronto.

Absolutely brilliant find! It's a little out the way so never noticed it before. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, all vegetarian/vegan. Did not miss meat at all! Service was lovely, was a little unimpressed that 12.5% service was added to the bill but was happy to pay it. We will be back!

Excellent schnitzel, prices reasonable, service good. I would recommend a visit. It was reasonably busy on a Saturday lunchtime but service was quick.

We had a vegan among us and the team prepared a bespoke menu for her in advance, which she absolutely loved. Damson is such good value for money and would be great for lunch or dinner - in a couple, or a group. The menu changes frequently and we can't wait to go back!! Such a gem.

My friend and I had popped in for a drink earlier in the day and found it to be such a lovely place we decided to go back for our lunch. That decision turned out to be a great one! My friend chose the eggs benedict and told me it was absolutely delicious, my choice of mushrooms on toast I believe was an even choice as it was so exquisite i found myself taking my time to eat it so I can continue to enjoy it. The people who work there are very helpful and welcoming, I am already looking forward to going back there.
