Called in today after seeing reviews online and what a nice surprise, freshly cooked tasty and filling

Great little chippy. One of the best around here. The quality is great and it isn't too expensive. Good portions too. We drive from Westbury as we rate it so much. Cash only though. Needs morel local support as the village is quiet. If you like great fish and chips, this is the place.

A spotlessly clean establishment without the the usual "chippy" smell of stale oil. We ordered two cod and chips (one large), which was cooked to order. The cod was cooked to perfection, juicy, tasty and snow-white with batter that remained crispy throughout the meal. The chips were full of flavour and, again, cooked to perfection. What I can't understand is why there wasn't a queue a mile long! We travel to Westbury about once a month and will be using Dilton Fish & Chips every time we visit. The best fish and chips I've had for more years than I care to remember!

The guy who works in the Fish n Chips shop, is very chatty and likes to talk to his customers if you're after a quick service? You could be disappointed. Otherwise, the fish n chips and everything that he sells is A1, well cooked, not dried up in the heater, BECAUSE it's all cooked fresh to order. We have a choice living in Westbury, but this Fish n Chip shop is worth going the extra mile to eat from here. Can't recommend them enough!

We were on holiday near Westbury and looking for fish and chips. Reviews said the was THE place to go and yes it was. Friendly welcome from the team and great service. The chips were delicious with lashings of salt and vinegar. Lovely bit of fish too. Best onion rings. Would highly recommend.

Enzo makes the best fish and chips around! Our food is always freshly cooked to order and the batter on the fish is crispy every time. We usually telephone our order in advance so we don't need to wait too long and also helps Enzo meet social distancing requirements. I also like the fact that Enzo has haddock and plaice on his menu as well as the traditional cod. Currently Dilton Fish and Chips only accept cash payments, if he accepted card we would probably visit more!

Having been on lockdown for 3 weeks we were craving a fish and chip takeaway. Dilton marsh continued to do takeaway (however they do not deliver). We live in westbury Leigh so picking up our dinner was not a problem. Telephoned our order through at 16:40 and it was ready to bring home by 17:05. We ordered fish and chips, jumbo sausages, and a jumbo battered sausage and chips with curry sauce. I have to say it was very tasty, not at all greasy and portion sizes were big. We would definitely come back ☺️ thank you very much!!!! And also a massive thank you for adhering to the government guidelines of social distancing 😀

Best F&C ever! All cooked fresh, good sized portions all served by a charming Enzo. Excellent value for money. Live in Westbury and we only wish that Enzo would do deliveries. However, we are more than prepared to travel to collect as the quality & quantity is second to none. Well done Enzo & Team, keep up the good work.

Absolutely delicious! We were craving a takeaway having been on lockdown for nearly three weeks & having never used them before were hopeful that the reviews were accurate. We were not disappointed. Food was fab, really tasty and not greasy with good portion sizes. Happy to report all safety precautions were been taken by the wonderful staff. Will defo use again & again & again!!!!

Went here during August '19 for the ritual of Fish & Chip Supper Wednesday. Walked through the door and was greeted by Super Mario! I don't know this guy's name, but he was so polite and accommodating. He cooked everything fresh to order and he affectionately became known as Super Mario. It's a gem of a chippy with everything you expect. Large portions unlike I've had from chip shops in the past. Very good value for money and well worth a visit. You may have to wait a little longer (this is the countryside and not everything works at McDonalds speed) but trust me it will be worth it.

Best fish and chips and best service from the lovely Italian owner who loves a chat as he’s cooking. Excellent quality fish and plenty of chips with our order every time. This is by far the best fish and chip shop in the area. We’ve tried them all. Forget the expensive farm shop this is better and much better value for money. Highly recommended.

We had been to visit the Longleat Festival of Light and wanted fish & chips on the way home. A quick look at the internet and Dilton popped up. It was 10 mins the opposite way to home but boy are we glad we made the detour! Everything was cooked fresh, the chips were lovely, not at all greasy as they can often be. The fish was a good size, perfectly cooked, white & fluffy, and wrapped in the most delicious light, crisp batter. Thoroughly recommended, just such a shame it's 50+ miles from home, or I'd be there every week!

Staying in Warminster and found this chip shop, I can easily say the food and service was 5 star. The food was cooked fresh to order and tasted fantastic!! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and would definitely go back there again!!

I love fish and chips. Yet the best fish and chips you may ever have was 'under my nose' and I hadnt tried it until today. The fish and chip maestro showed me the fish for approval before immersing it in the oil. Took it home in a box and had it with my home grown runner beans. Generous helpings, minimal crispy batter, good chips and all at a reasonable price.

All food is freshly cooked while you wait, and it's worth waiting for. Very friendly and welcoming. It's a little off the beaten track, but well worth making a detour if you are near.

We're not long moved into the village and have used this little fish and chip shop a few times! Each time the service has been friendly and fast and the food superb! The wraps are huge and delicious and the fish and chips dry and crispy! Highly recommend! The chef works elsewhere during the day as i understand it, so its only open in the evenings from 5-10 I think.

I did, I drove to the place after seeing adverts and they were shut... Anyway I went back and ordered fish and chips. It was cooked fresh, so you'll need to wait. I really really enjoyed the food even more than leigh park's...which is good as well. I believe it had a new owner, but every time i go by it seems shut, or maybe i am not going at the right time. dont let that put you off because it's worth the mileage.

On the way back from hospital, we couldn't be bothered to cook. I know the chippy in Dilton, says the wife. Yep... good idea.
