Best kebab house ever would honestly die if it ever closed highly recommend you will not regret it

Your delivery driver has caused unnecessary and even a violent situation outside of the establishment which caused my partner who was with our 5 year old to be discriminated by his weight which is inappropriate and highly unprofessional. The delivery driver was blocking 3 different roads which prevented drivers to go anywhere but most importantly was insulting a customer based on their weight when the establishment themselves sell extremely fatty and greasy food themselves. Purely hypocritical of the food place especially to employ a delivery driver with that form of attitude so I advise anyone not to attend here as you will just be accused of being “fat” which is what my partner was called along with a child. Utterly disgraceful!

My partner and our 5 year old boy was informed by the family kebab delivery driver that they were fat whilst picking up their food which was highly discriminating! The delivery driver was blocking 3 roads as it was not allowing cars to pass but clearly found it important to insult a father and his son. Extremely unprofessional and disgraceful. I highly recommend you do not attend to this place as you will only get told how fat you are for collecting their food which is something no one should tolerate when getting their evening meal. Especially when the place itself sells you food that’s high in fat and covered in grease.

An hour Long wait for food and did not enjoy it when it come the meat was on top of the bread and by the time i found it it was soggy and so much salad piled on chicken it was cold. Didn't like the fact the menu has no prices on it ?!!! Found it more expensive than our regular one but that was closed. Wont be rushing to order again Sorry.

This kebab shop only takes cash must be on a tax fiddle , never take payments by card , demands cash all the time , stay away or you be fleeced

Got a lamb donor time I got home which is 5 min away food was cold and dry and tasteless salad was also not fresh wouldn't go again waste of money

Had a house special kebab. Good quality meat and great flavours. All for a great price. Basically as kebab shops go this is a great one.

Driver did apologise for the delay stating that they had been busy and said "It is hot." It wasn't! We had to microwave it. Food had no taste and chicken in the wrap was hard. Very disappointed.

Family Kebab House is a long standing local business and for me, the best kebab in Amesbury. Great value meals, good sized portions and always friendly service.

So, this is something I've said before, the lack of a card reader at this takeaway indicates two things. First and foremost, they're tax dodgers. If I have to pay tax why don't they? Second, it's a bad business move. The amount of customers that they lose by forcing everybody to pay with cash is not worth the small expenditure to get a card reader and pay tax.

Ordered 2x Grilled Chicken Kebabs Friday night treat! When we sat down at home and unwrapped our feasts, our hearts sank. It was Full of doner meat. Nothing grilled in there! Personally I’d avoid a fast food establishment that ignores your order request

Welcoming staff and very polite . Food is very fresh and meats are separated avoiding Cross contamination.

Absolutely disgusting. Cheasey chips came half full and fully cold… some was frozen. And chiken kabab was gone off and my coleslaw was also gone off as had a fizzy taste to it. Half full with meat then the rest salad…. Chillie sauce was also very discusting and I asked for garlic Mayo and they caped it in normal mayo they I also orderd an extra coleslaw and it was gone off too… I did not eat any of this order. What a waste of £20…. In my opinion is way to much for a chiken kabab and s cheasey chips….DO NOT RECOMEND it will make you ill

Extremely disappointing kebab yesterday desperate for food at work rushed in for a donar and chips with salad got no pita bread meat looked days old and as for the limp looking salad I wouldn't give that to a rabbit and to make things worse they made me rush to a cash machine as they don't take card payments. Larkhill and Durrington kebabs are miles better

I brought cheesy chips, cheese was moldy and I am allergic to penicillin so could’ve died. Never going to buy from here again. I am disgusted

How the mighty have fallen. Not been here for over 15 years but my god has it changed. This was where I had my first ever taste of donner meat - the meat used to be well cooked, a dark brown colour and tasted of lamb. Now it just looks cheap and uncooked - an anaemic colour with no taste. The chips are still good like they used to be but the kebab was a joke. £7 for a medium as well. It’s supposed to be served in a pitta but they just put a pitta in the bottom of the tray and put a few shavings of meat on top. They over-compensate by stacking the salad high. Terrible and clearly just trying to maximise profit.

Avoid unless u want to end up in hospital, had a chicken kebab from here ended up becoming very sick and spent 3 night in hospital with food poisoning.

We ordered from here last night September 5th 2021 and my partner received our food and the chips were cold and my partner could not eat chicken burger as he took a bite and was raw in middle .would avoid this place . Ours was delivered . I have reported to food hub too and have pics .

First time out for ages but couldnt resist a Lrge grilled chicken kebab 2 skewers of chicken grilled with chilli sauce and trimmings. Have to say they were excellent before but seem to have got even better chicken large suculant and not over cooked. Enough to feed a hungry man..Good proce and good fill..

The best chicken doner I've ever had. It was the perfect amount and the salad was heavenly and the sauce was amazing. Definitely would come back again. Also the lady on the phone was very friendly and the service was polite and quick.

We ordered online and said it would be 55 minutes for delivery. Food arrived within 15 minutes!! Food portions were big and the taste was great! Will definitely be ordering again!

Food was great, tasted good and very good quality. Chips were delicious. However the reason I rate 3/5 is due to the wait time of 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Understanding that it is a Friday night they could’ve been more prepared to deal with busier service. I called at 19:45 and the lady stated it was on the way, when it took 30-40 mins after that phone call to arrive. I do recommend them for their food, but if you’re looking to have dinner I suggest you order 4:30pm. Edited post: ordered on 4/01/2020 and food was great and arrived before 45 minutes. Very happy this time !

Very disappointed and won't order food from there again. After being happy, returning customers for almost a year, their service has been taking a nose-dive of late, unfortunately. Ever increasing waiting times became completely unacceptable last night when we waited well over 2.5 hours for our food to be delivered. When it finally got to us, it was cold and to top it off, the chicken meat in the kebabs was partially raw! So disappointed and put off.

This used to be our go to for a take away. Unfortunately had to wait half an hour for food as a walk in as did everyone else. The Kebab House appears to prioritise internet orders over customers in store. Food is still excellent but service gone severely down hill. Would recommend you order over the internet instead of going in.

Most disappointed that you won't deliver to a lay by half a mile down the road on the A345 with out the lay bys postcode. I regularly park here over night and was hoping to make it a regular order.

Could not ask for a better kebab and pizza, delivery is really fast and food is always hot.

We were on our way back from the Stonehenge when we stumbled upon Family Kebab House. We just did a quick search while driving and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant itself is small and there aren’t any tables available if you want to eat there; just chairs available. We ordered few chicken doners, lamb and chicken wraps. All of the food was made fresh. They very big portions, full of flavor that just got better with every bite. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The staff were really friendly as well. You could tell they really cared about what they were selling to their costumers. The only downside is that they didn’t take credit cards, luckily there was an ATM nearby.

We would have liked to eat here but there is no seating. Also they do not take credit cards which put us off. The prices seemed quite expensive too.

We ordered a chicken doner wrap and a large grilled chicken kebab. Both were excellent in terms of quality and quantity. The service wasn't very friendly and seemed to take a long time. Payment was cash only.

About time I wrote a review of this epic place, you cannot beat a chicken shish kebab, they marinate the chicken in a lovely sauce, the pitas are always perfect and it comes loaded with all the trimmings including a bunch of hot and sweet chillies to munch into. The service is prompt and they are always polite, you won’t be disappointed with any order from them.

Been here a number of times friendly staff and usually amazing food.....however after eating a donner kebab last night I am currently suffering food poisoning! Sad to say I won't be coming back

Don't waste your time or your money!! Ordered food for home delivery, food took ages to arrive and when it did eventually arrive it was cold, the chicken in a wrap was dry and tough; and we received an incorrect kebab to that we had ordered. We live less than 4 miles away from this takeaway restaurant and we were charged an extortionate amount for the delivery of our food (£5) even though our order was well over £25. Phoned to complain that an item of food was incorrect, and I was given the option to have a discount on our next order! I gratefully declined as I will never be using this take-away restaurant ever again, and I therefore asked for the food that I had ordered to be delivered! Delivery driver turned up within 30 minutes with the replacement kebab, and asked to take the wrong kebab away with them?! I'm guessing they had a delivery to make on their way back..? Or worse reheat it and send it out to someone else! Any other time this has happened I have been told to keep the wrong item free of charge as compensation. Anyway the new kebab was exchanged and the problem resolved, however I have to say the chicken was also dry and tough and I could not eat most of it! This place has really gone down hill and I will continue to use King Chicken instead for the foreseeable future. And that's a "WRAP"

Got home dekivery tonight. Cold chips undercooked meat rubbish for the amount of money spent will stick to king chicken the best ever kebab house.

Great cheap food typical kabab house however one minor point their card machine wasnt working so had to pop round the corner to the cash point.

Came here last month to order a kebab on the way home, I noticed on the window the really low food hygiene rating but chose to ignore it as it doesn't usually actually indicate the quality of the food, after I ordered I then noticed loads of dead flies in the lights above, no big deal right?

All good nice food nice friendly staff little bit exspensive but all kebab shops are around here chilli sauce is good! As are the pizzas

Mi primera vez tratando de kebabs. Me decidí por el kebab, para conseguir un sabor de todo y tienen casa entregada. El proceso de pedido a través de amor para llevar era difícil, tuve que firmar con ellos, pero no había ningún pedido, así que tuve que eneter manualy el nombre de compras y pasar por el proceso de nuevo. (sé que este es un sitio de tercera parte) El kebabs llegaron 20 minutos antes, así que por el momento llegué a casa a la hora de entrega programada, eran apenas tibia.

For the last 3 years I have lived in Skegness, Lincolnshire and no one there knows how to make a good kebab there. I have just moved to Amesbury and firstly noticed that Family Kebabs open really early compared to what I'm used to, which is great. I thought I'd give them a try and see if the kebabs were any good, and I have to say that I am happy to report that they are a proper good kebab at last. The guys behind the counter were very friendly, and while I was waiting for mine a couple of kids were buying their burgers and when they found they didn't have quite enough money for what they had ordered the owner let them off the odd £1 they were short by.I will be back for another kebab soon.

This is definitely our preferred kebab shop. The food never disappoints and the staff are very friendly. The grilled chicken kebab is amazing :-)

We go to this kebab shop every week, the guys are great, food is always amazing and the shop is very clean. They also do home delivery which is great for us!

If you are looking for a kebab then look no further. my family regularly go down to collect a take out. They offer, a range of kebabs, burgers and pizza's. their homemade Chilli sauce is fantastic. I have told them to bottle and sell it!Recommended!!

This place is run by a friendly bunch of staff producing very fresh and comforting food. The portion sizes are generous and quality is superb and consistent. I eat here twice per month and would say it's the best take away in the local area.
