The place is never open. What’s the point in having a burger joint in Marlborough that’s shut all day!

Had made a booking for dining at the bite me Bite Me Burger in Marlborough had a voucher that a family member got us and when we turned up the place was closed and looked abandoned they did not even contact us to let us know that they were closed when they said they were opened time we turned up again it was still closed and the voucher then had expired 😕 very bad customer service with owners not phoneing as back when we found them multiple times but nobody answered when they said that it was meant to be open. In the end we glad we didn't even turn up in the first place to eat there because when we found out what meat they use it puts us off its called (Halal) meat) 🍖 witch is basically known as tortured animals where it is scard to death to make the meat taste better witch is disgusting and we don't support this as it is cruelty and should be banned. So please be aware of this information. We will never attempt to come here again thank God we found out the information in time ⏲ 🙏 🙌 Plus very customer service PLEASE DON'T SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AS ITS (HALAL MEAT) THEY USE !!!!!!!!!!!!!VOID Bite Me Burger will most likely come back saying they don't use this sort of meat and we'll try and get out of it but do not believe them as this has been informed by multiple customers who we have spoken with and interviewed in the past This review is for the Bite Me Burger in Marlborough in Wiltshire

What a fantastic place! We (family of four) had a great time. There's a huge range of mini burgers to suit everyone's taste, great meat free options and the sides were also delicious, particularly the onion rings! The food was delicious and the burger size meant we could all have 2(or more) to try. The loaded freezeshakes were also amazing (and i don't like milkshake usually!) Really thick with fun toppings. A real experience. Also, the restaurant was clean, the 2 guys were fun and very helpful. We all loved the burger themed decor. I can't fault the food, the service or the restaurant. Thanks for a great meal, we will be back to try the burgers we haven't yet tasted.

We really enjoyed our cocktail masterclass last night. Got to make three cocktails, enjoyed a sharing platter and got to take home some gifts too. Scott was very informative and made it very interesting. Thank you very much. Would definitely recommend.

Had a fabulous cocktail masterclass here. Scott was excellent, lots of good humour and great expertise. Really enjoyed it and have been inspired to make these at home as you get a lovely inscribed cocktail shaker and recipe book to take home. Don't think about it. Book the class now.

Lovely experience, Jason our server was so kind with our 2 very excited little girls. He got them colouring and made them feel at home. The food was great, just what you would expect from a burger bar. The popcorn chicken was my favourite, very well seasoned, crispy but not dry inside. The burger selection was great and it was nice to have the alternative of sweet potatoes fries.

Fantastic food, brilliant service both gentlemen serving and cooking in the restaurant were brilliant, and the atmosphere and setting was superb over all would rate the restaurant extremely highly not a singal bad thing to say, will definitely go back soon.

Great burgers but afternoon tea was a disappointment. We had a voucher and were expecting an afternoon tea at a hotel! Waited some time for food, the burgers were worth the wait, they were delicious but it doesn’t work with afternoon tea, I’d have much rather swapped the cakes for chips. Cakes appeared bought in and could have got from a supermarket. Also no choice of teas and no plates to eat off. They should stick to what they’re good at, the burgers were amazing.

Over priced for very little food. Takeaway order was wrong and incomplete. However on a positive note they did offer a refund when we called to check the whereabouts of 2 missing burgers and missing onion rings. Would however not order again as it's too expensive for what you get and missing off two burgers and onion rings in one order is high on incompetence.

Visited this evening as a booked group of four. The restaurant was empty so only us there. We ordered our food and drink. Service to this point had been polite and friendly. Slowly and I mean slowly our food started to be served about 30 minutes after ordering… 🐌 First our sides of onions rings and slaw arrived… then 10 minutes later two burgers… followed by a trio. The trio was wrong sadly as there was cheese on the burger when it had been requested no cheese… no worries back to the kitchen it went there mistake… 10 minutes later burger returns with cheese again! Back to the kitchen it goes. Finally five minutes later we’ve got our burgers however still missing three sides of dirty fries… 10 minutes later once burgers have been demolished fries arrive… Whilst the food was lovely and the burgers with cheese was refunded without request the service was slowwww 🐌 🐌 🐌 the empty restaurant and lack of atmosphere didn’t help. All in all, lovely food but too slow and food coming out in dribs and drabs put me off

Would highly recommend this place, the food was amazing, we had the trio burgers and then a normal chicken burger which we doubled up, and trust me it was huge. Our son was looking forward to one of the milkshakes, but he was so full he couldn’t manage it! Our waitress was fab, and the manager (I’m assuming he was) came over and checked in with us as well. All in all a lovely meal out, definitely would go again.

We went on a very busy lunchtime, however our table was not sprayed, simply wiped with a tea-towel. When the food arrived it was tasty, but nothing incredible for the price. The restaurant is in need of a face-lift & looks a little worn.

I’d driven by many times but never had the occasion to visit. It looked like a place that only did delivery but I was surprised at what I found after I had stopped by for lunch with my 5 year old after visiting the White Horse Bookshop. There was a small but well appointed bar area and an area for dining in at the “front” of the place (the entrance is at the side of the building) The bite size burgers were also a surprise to me and the choices were all fantastic. The waitress helpfully explained the concept and I recommend the lamb or duck if one wants to venture outside the usual beef or cheeseburgers. There’s also the option of getting full sized burgers and the milkshakes looked humongous (I didn’t get a chance to try them). The seating area is small (like 5 or 6 tables) but well appointed and the decor is all well thought out with attention to detail (my son particularly loved the burger shaped cushions!)

Dreadful. Arrived at 2pm on a Saturday to be told they were closing at 3 and couldn’t fit us in despite the restaurant being empty both inside and out. It was dirty and dingy, the waiter was appallingly rude and the tables in the bar (which looked very depleted) were all stacked up with boxes. No atmosphere at all, no welcome, would not have wanted to stay. I didn’t eat on this occasion but have done in the past and enjoyed it, but I won’t ever return now given how how we were treated today.

Came for the Groupon afternoon tea and we were delighted with the food, service and atmosphere. The value was outstanding too only losing a star as the burgers weren’t super hot but I guess that’s the challenge ge with cooking a large amount in one go for an afternoon tea. Would recommend and return!

Me and my partner came here for the first time and we loved it! The decor is funky and gives you that American diner vibe! We both had a trio of burgers and loved every flavour that we had, we finished it off with a milkshake each and they were to die for! So yummy!! Overall we loved our experience and couldn’t fault the food or customer service. We will definitely be returning for more yummy burgers.

Terrible. Small dingy little place. Only 5 tables in all. Waited 50mins for hot drinks which were barely warm and a further 25mins for our burger afternoon tea, and then I had to ask! The waitress didn't seem to know anything and was incapable of retaining anything we asked for. The burgers were 'ok', the bread buns were dry and some of the cakes were identical to the frozen cake selections sold at Iceland. Other cakes were dry but ok. We were told that they didn't have enough of the burger/cake stands to serve them on so the remainder were brought on a separate plate, which is not a problem but there were only 3 tables occupied so just how many stands do they have overall? Having told the waitress when we arrived that we had 2 pre paid Groupon vouchers, the bill came to £128!! I don't think so!! Only had a portion of chips, a coke and a milk shake as extras. Oh, she had forgotten about the vouchers. £10 was the bill. The couple on a nearby table had a pot of tea but were told there was no milk left !! Overall terrible experience and one we will remember for all the wrong reasons.

We took the kids here for a meal and we all had a lovely experience. The staff are very freindly and welcoming and the food is great we will definatly eat at bite me burger again

Selection of beef and chicken burgers. The chicken cones are a must try. The food was good and portion sizes decent. The restaurant itself has a pub like feel but is good to visit with family or a group of friends too.

Awful! avoid at all costs. I went for a friends birthday and it was such a disappointment in every way. We booked an afternoon tea and it was a shambles from the start. The manager was unwelcoming and as we sat down the couple next to us were in the process of requesting a refund for mouldy food - we should have run at that point! Apparently the afternoon tea is for 2 people not 3, which caused a problem despite no mention of this when booking. The food was nothing like advertised online, everything was either from the freezer or a packet and definitely not worth anywhere near £25pp - it was a complete rip off. The waitress also mentioned the staff had been at an event until 4.30am the night before, so were hungover and clearly didn't want to be there. The manager could be heard swearing next door to us and the sound system was linked to his phone so every time he made a call we could hear the ringing and voicemail. I felt sorry for the waitress, she was trying to remain professional despite all the issues but I got the impression she wasn't being supported. To top it off the place was dirty and dingy with no atmosphere, and we were virtually asked to leave because they wanted to close early. It was a car crash of an afternoon and we left bitterly disappointed. What we thought would be a fun experience for my friends birthday was the total opposite, not to mention heavily overpriced.

Was in the area, so thought me and the hubby should try this place. Waitress was really friendly and explained the menu clearly. Great value for food and the fact they offer mini burgers so you can pick different ones is a bonus, they were cooked perfectly aswell. Thanks for a great meal 😋

I booked the afternoon tea and was shocked by how poor and overpriced it was. We had two sliders each, which to be fair were nice. But the rest if the afternoon tea was 2 dry and mealy cupcakes each. 3 'out of a tub' tiny pieces of flapjacks, rocky road and brownies & 1 Ferrero rocher between us. For £25.00 each. It was absolutely nothing like the pictures and I would have complained at the time except it was for my partners b'day and he didn't want to make a fuss. To give some context 2 sliders are £9.00 so the dreadful cupcakes and other morsels cost £16.00 each. Really? Just don't bother!!

Tried out the food last Thursday evening and it was phenomenal. Best chicken burger I’ve ever had!! My other half had a sample of 4 different mini burgers and highly recommended the duck burger and the BCO. Great little place. We’ll definitely be going back. We attended a cocktail master class with Scott. We made 3 cocktails which were all delicious. Scott was brilliant and the staff were very friendly. We tried the appetisers which came with the cocktail master class, as well as the mini burgers which blew my mind. The best burgers we have ever eaten and would highly recommend to anyone!

tbh it was a horrific experience, didn't have anything we asked for and just generally the service was useless. Also heard a customer complaining about raw meat behind us. Not good, no recommending and definitely won't be back.

We had the most amazing cocktail experience with Scott. We learnt so much and had lots of fun. Scott offered a cocktail master class that I am sure will be very handy next time we have friends coming over :) Overall, excellent service, cocktail making was fun and immersive, super friendly staff. We drove all the way. Tried calling ahead, but no answer. Assumed it was a busy Saturday. The place was closed. No sign whatsoever to inform for how long or why. I advise to keep the social media sites updated on the correct opening hours, especially the ones giving directions to the place (ex. google).

Unfortunately wouldn't return. After recommendation and in the local area. We thought giving this place a go. Food/price The food was overpriced and below standard. The bun clearly defrosted and the brioche sheen crumbling off. The chicken was really greasy and lacked any flavour. Slaw had lost its 'crunch'. I'm guessing this was old. Wings lacked 'meat on the bone' coating was poor. Chicken looked pink and was greasy. Menu Food ordered from the menu, wasn't a reflection from the pictures. Was a disappointing when coming to the table. The menu itself was very confusing and didn't follow any sort of order. Both of us couldn't make much sense of what was available. Also I'd expect to have more selection of chicken wings etc Venue Looking tired and needing a clean. We decided to pay and leave. I didnt expect to find a open tobacco pouch on this side, where staff have been making their cigarettes. Overall Walked away wishing i had found a wetherspoons. Better standard and price. Slightly worried about my stomach now. Shouldn't leave a food place feeling that way. Would not reccomend this place. With the current cost of living. You may want to find somewhere you have eaten before.

Best chicken burger I ever had, could not fit in my mouth

Excellent mini burgers. Loved being able to have multiple different burger types in one meal. Popped in just before they were closing. The manager informed us of the time constraints but still rustled up lovely food in double quick time. They also made a burger to my 8 year old sons exacting requirements I'm only sorry I didn't have space to explore the menu further.

Burgers have shrunk in size since we last went. Burnt offerings, no sauces, old coleslaw, half a corn in the cob for £4 and a handful of fries. I could do better myself and I’m a crap cook. Oh - and stale buns.

One of the worst eating out experiences I’ve had. I was here on Saturday, and after we were sat down the server (who was very good) informed us there was a limited drinks menu, then while ordering a limited food menu as a lot of items were unavailable. While waiting we used the toilets which were rank - get a plumber, and fix the toilets and the taps. after experiencing the guy behind the bar have a large open mouthed coughing fit, our food arrived, salad and guacamole on the food nice and brown, burgers over cooked, and bun cold, the one side that was available were the beans, which were hard and undercooked. All in all, a waste of £45. Maybe it was bad luck, but I won’t be heading back anytime.

If you like stale buns and burned burgers turn up here for the worst Mojito in town too. Never going back….. ever.

We'd had these as takeaways during lockdown where although we liked the flavours we weren't overly impressed with the meat. We decided to give it another go thinking maybe the takeaway element had caused it to overcook. Turns out we were correct, this time around the burgers were fantastic with some amazing flavour profiles coming through (nothing OTT just a few ingredients that work well together). Had a really great experience here this evening. Amazing concept where you get to try many different mini burgers, meaning you don’t have to try and pick one from a big menu. The staff were lovely and really dog friendly as we went with our golden retriever. They kept bringing her fresh water and she was definitely fed well with a lot of biscuits. The frozen milkshakes are a must too! A nice dessert to finish the meal off.

Came here for dinner today. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the decor, the music, everything was top notch! I've seen other reviews complain about the price but the concept and menu are explained to you when you get to your table and it is worth the price. Staff are very polite and attentive, could not fault. Thank you for a great meal out!

I see why they call the place bite me, because the amount of food they give, you'll still be hungry after and you'll be debating whether to bite the staff or not .. the quality of the food was good but the portions are mouse sized and are very over priced and half of the menu was not available because they wanted to save the food for people who booked tables for later in the day. I bought the guac burger and 90% of it was bread with a little bit of chicken in the corner 🙃

14.50 for a tiny burger I could make at home what a joke

was OK, we where a large group of 10. issues with getting all that everyone ordered.. and some was wrong, and my grilled corn was soggy and cold. but they where very apologetic and we had a great evening.

Really cool place and great food. Service was friendly and helpful, top notch. The burgers and hotdogs are all slider size and loads of different flavour combos either beef, chicken, halloumi or vegetarian. The Hawaiian, hotdog and ceaser were the best for me but looking forward to going back and trying more. The chicken waffle wraps look amazing too and will definitely try one next time.

Delicious food but a bit pricey for what it is. Nothing like it anywhere else. They do all you can eat days and afternoon teas. Looking forward to see how their Christmas quiz goes

The concept is so original and so simple that it took me a few months of contemplating if I should come for Bite Me Burger experience. Those months are now known as Lockdown 2. Once the opening in the sky occurred, and I went to all eateries in Marlborough, the time came for Bite Me Burger. My first dinner here was so sway! Small burgers were flying in. You are never stuck with the choice of different ideas, you have to look through the menu and decide for yourself. The team is super friendly. Chips are totally amazing. Milkshakes are soooooooo gooooood! You will be back for more! MORE LOVE!
