Came in this morning to take my mum for a birthday brunch. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Tea was lovely - proper china cups and a beautiful teapot. Food made to order so was lovely and fresh. I had pancakes and mum had avocado/poached eggs on sourdough. Both meals were great. Very good value for money.

Just had afternoon tea at this lovely place. The sandwiches were freshly made and so nice. The homemade sausage roll was probably my favourite. We also had the most moist Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle cake. Individual banoffee pie was also a revelation. We were offered scones but we could not eat them so they gave them to us in takeaway boxes. The proprietors were attentive. We will be back.

Brought mum and dad here for an afternoon tea. Good selection of freshly made sandwiches, delicious home made sausage rolls and a lemon drizzle cake to die for. Scones came warm with plenty of cream and jam. Mum and dad said one of the best afternoon teas they have had. Wonderful service from Sally and her crew and a special mention to George who made the lemon drizzle cake.

I organised a baby shower at greenwood’s brunch and found communications with the owner sally very quick and easy. We are given private hire of the venue due to the size of our party and meeting minimum spend. The food was amazing and there was plenty of sandwiches and cakes of a range of varieties. The scones were also homemade and my highlight of the day! Sally and her team were accommodating for all allergies and food preferences (vegetarian, 3 x dairy free, vegan and nut allergy), and were even able to make a takeaway tea for a guest who was unable to come due to illness. There was no food waste as we were provided with boxes to take away any leftovers! Sally, Alan and Anna were all very helpful, kind and friendly to all members of our party, and I would highly recommend the venue for afternoon tea and group bookings. I will definitely be returning to try the new brunch menu.

I remember the first time I went into Tasha's Tearoom about 3 years ago with my 4, young children. Suzanne came over and was so lovely with all of my children, chatting away to them - we then had the yummiest cakes and hot chocolates. When my daughter turned 8 last Christmas Eve, she requested to have her birthday tea at Tasha's as she knew that Tasha, Suzanne and all the staff would make it so special - and they totally did. It's always top of our places to go for a treat. You are really made to feel so welcome, if you want a chat there's someone to chat to - or just grab a magazine and chill out. Can't recommend it enough. And their prosecco is yum - their salads are the best ANYWHERE!

Very pleasant tea/coffee/cake shop that seats approx 30? people in a light and airy shop.Tea is served in proper China cups saucers and tea pots and coffee in coffee cups. The cakes I think are home made and generous portions with competitive prices - cheaper than 'the name' opposite too.The cafe also serves freshly prepared salads around the &6/£7 mark so again good pricing. Wraps soups and food for the little 'uns is also available.Wifi, without the annoying people who hog 4 tables buy one drink and stay 3hours as in 'the name'.Only slight negative is that with hard floors and wooden chairs, it can get noisy when it's very busy and folk scrape rather than lift chair. The staff are friendly, I suspect very local, and always seem to have a smile on their faces rather than the scowls sometimes seen elsewhere.

Booked afternoon tea , was very quiet when we arrived . We sat down and our teapot came out , pretty little tea cups a nice brew. It was when the sandwiches and cakes came out on the stand that we were disappointed. Tiny little finger sandwiches cheese and pickle, tuna, ham and tomato a random chicken one. The slices of cake were pretty random, a slice of carrot cake , a strange Bakewell tart with mince pie filling and very randomly a piece of bread pudding. The scones came after and they were ok, the clotted cream and jam saved them. £12 per head ?? Should have been more like £12 for the stand. Very disappointed, I know it's not the Ritz but £12 per head? For that no no nooooooo

Husband and I visited as it looked quite nice from the outside and we like tearooms and cake! I had a tuna sandwich and it was only average. The bread was supermarket bread, the tuna not very nice and the salad consisted of 4 small lettuce leaves which I think were rocket. It came with some tasteless crisps. Quite abysmal really. Very poor. If you provide salad with a sandwich then have a proper little salad not a parody of one. Get rid of the crisps, tasteless and add nothing. The tea we had was okay but you can't really ruin tea. The cakes looked nice but nothing made me want to try one. The waitress was pleasant and doing a great job with her arm in plaster. This could be a great place with some small changes. Nice looking place so hopefully they will improve and make a go of it. Nice addition to Cheam shops if they can improve the quality of the food.

I have been to this tea room a couple of times and recently it seems to have gone downhill. The sandwiches and cakes are overpriced for what you get - £5.95 for a sandwich ( just a supermarket bread sandwich with a few crisps and a few salad leaves). Even the salad you get with the sandwich has become tiny.I do like the atmosphere and the people seem very nice, so I will just restrict my visits to tea and cake. A shame really because it could be a really great place. I don't have a problem with a reasonable price as long as you get a good product. My advice to them would be to have a bit of a rethink and relaunch themselves as a bespoke product place. Perhaps really go for the cake market and have some over the top crowd pleasing cakes or keep with this model but perhaps start selling more home made products like sausage rolls. Whatever they do, they should make any changes very clear because I know a lot of people who aren't very impressed with the place and have written it off.

Although very busy, it was disappointing that I had finished my teacake by the time my coffee arrived, and I had almost finished the coffee by the time my sisters tea and cake arrived. The whole thing felt disjointed and we spent most of our time there looking round for where our order was rather than chatting. We were planning on having a spot of lunch whilst there but instead chose to pay and leave after our cake rather than our lunch orders arrive at completely different times. Bear in mind this was just tea/coffee and cake, nothing complicated.

We had a tuna sandwich, which was OK, but no option to have granary bread. The home made tomato and red pepper soup was really nice, and it said it came with toasted ciabatta bread, so was surprised when it came out with three very small toasted bits of bread. I asked for another portion (again small) which was a further £1.50! The table side service was really slow and there was hardly anyone in there. However, the staff were very friendly.I would have given a better rating, had the service been quicker and a normal size portion of bread came with the soup.

The two teens took Grandad for afternoon tea-scones,jam and cream for two with tea, pain au chocolate, bagel, hot chocolate, a slice of cake and all for £16.Good, friendly service. Some items seemed home cooked and were lovely, others were obviously shop made (eg bagel) but all in all good food and a lovely place.Lovely shabby chic type decortoo

We had a table reserved for us and it all looked lovely when we came in. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is brilliant and the cream teas are wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a better first outing for our beautiful little miracles.

Visited with a friend and they were obviously busy with 2 parties. We had tea and cake. Disappointed as cake portion now very small and no hot water top up. Service was pleasant but I miss the extra style. Young lady asked for our order, moments after my friend arrived and then waited silently for her to decide. Suggestions of cake available would of been helpful. They shut at 5 and at 10 to 5, shouted to each other checking, did they shut at 5 or 5.30! Much rather they just came over and said...

After enjoying all previous visits this time I took some members of my family along. The service was poor and the size of the dishes were small to say the least.Suffice to say that my family wont be back anytime soon, and neither will i.

This is such a lovely tea shop. Really old fashioned with china cups and plates and actually comfortable seats. The cakes are very reasonable and staff obviously love their job as they are cheerful. Stayed for two hours and the staff were in no rush to get rid of us. The place was busy with children, such a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return. I much prefer to spend my money here than with a big name chain. I hope they continue to do well.

Not sure anything is actually homemade other than cake (which addmittedly was very nice) as saw many supermarket plastic bags being taken into kitchen. Not sure if would go again maybe just for a cake and a cup of tea

I went for lunch when this place first opened, we ordered soup which was bland and the bread was doughy.Fast forward to last week, popped in for a croissant and a hot drink. When the croissant arrived it had been heated in a microwave which gave it a chewy unpleasant texture. when I asked if they had an oven warming I was told no and that they would not charge me.Okay that's a good gesture, but surely it's not rocket science to heat an oven up before you open and to serve people food as it should be. The young lady who took the order was very pleasant, sadly that can't be said for the person who dealt with my complaint! We got the feeling that only regulars are welcome.Should've gone to the crepe shop where everyone looked extremely satisfied with their food!Extremely mediocre, won't be going ever again!

Came here recently for the first time for lunch with a friend and wasn't disappointed, I had a delicious salad and my friend (whose a Coeliac ) actually was spoilt for choice of what to have which was a pleasant surprise. Was so nice- we stayed and had cake afterwards. All the staff are incredibly friendly and the cosy bright settings make all customers feel totally at home. Am looking forward to returning soon,

My daughter and I visited Tasha's Tearoom for a birthday treat. We booked via the website (communications were great) and went along. There is a village car park - park there are parking outside the venue is precarious - there are red route and loading bay which can catch you out. Our table was reserved and we were served after a couple of minutes wait - it was a busy afternoon. The afternoon tea consisted of pot of tea or coffee (they do a good decaf tea) and finger sandwiches, luscious scones with generous amounts of jam and clotted cream and a cake selection. The sandwiches were lovely; smoked salmon and cream cheese, chicken in a sauce, cheese and a lovely onion chutney and egg and cress. We had fruit scones. They were massive and scrummy and we had lashings of cream and strawberry jam.We were so full after the sandwiches and scones that we asked for a goody-box for our cake and took that home with us.The cakes were enjoyed later; lemon drizzle, chocolate, cherry and almond tart and the lightest bread pudding ever. We were offered more tea at no extra charge. The cost of our treat was very reasonable indeed. A lovely afternoon in a rate special place.

Just called in a for a drink with a friend. We both agreed the hot chocolate was the best we have tasted in a cafe for a long time. Rich, silky texture and taste. You wont find better in Sutton or in
