I'd booked a table at a nearby diner but when we arrived the kitchen had closed. On our walk back we discovered this place. It was just closing too but the guy served us and we ordered a large kebab. As we sat abd waited he asked if we wanted it in a tray to eat on the go to which we replied yes. O was expecting a small orange takeaway tray like you normally get in takeaways. He then asked if he wanted him ti throw in some rice and bread and beung hungry we said that'd be great. After a very short time he appeared with a huge silver foil tray full of meat, salad , rice and bread. The food was as outstanding as the service. We will definitely visit again when we return to London.
Wow what a fab little Cafe!! Me and my husband Follow a Keto lifestyle/diet so to be able to come and eat a delicious breakfast is great!! Super fresh food, reasonably priced and such friendly staff with lots of choice too. Can’t wait to return! Thanks Nancy xx
We had some wonderfully fresh brown bread sandwiches. Bacon, bacon and sausage, cream cheese bagel. Coffee's, hot chocolates and cokes. Very good service, good quality fresh ingredients, well prepared and served.

Our 3rd visit to this little gem of a place. Took the inlaws for a breakfast as we kept telling them about this place. Everything freshly cooked. Chef and staff very friendly. They make you feel so welcome. value for money its excellent . Highly recommended and we will be going back again.
We were extremely lucky to bag an exclusive invitation to the Caff. It was luxurious, entirely dust-free and the food was excellent.
The selection of flat (unrisen) breads and cheeses was particularly notable, while the Ukranian-sourced chicken was both topical and tasty.
M. Levinè was a fine host, keeping us entertained with a wealth of stories and anecdotes. We believe some were even true!
Overall an outstanding experience. Beg, steal or demand an invitation with manaces - an experience not to be missed.
What a great experience we had this morning paddle boarding on Ulswater.
The instructor was nothing short of superb and got us all up and enjoying the water really quickly.
The equipment at this centre was also really high quality and we felt totally safe with the buoyancy aids provided.
Our group was diverse - me a rotund 50 something to my 18 year old daughter and while the duration we stayed stood up may have varied we all managed it and enjoyed crossing the lake.
In summary - this is a superb activity, great value for money and I highly recommend the experience to anyone else.
We stopped while walking the SWCP we were greeted with friendly service and great value - a cuppa and an excellent muffin for £2.50.
Despite there being no loo and a sketchy network this is a great little place in the middle of nowhere.
