Hampsfell House Hotel Restaurant in South Lakeland

The most wonderful evening from start to finish - food was sublime and staff made the whole experience extra special!! A lovely treat - and that Kendal mint cake pebble!! X

Sometimes you have to spend hours searching for the perfect cafe, this place, is small, yet perfect, my eggs just how I like them, everything else was really good including the cappuccino, price good, service brilliant, skip looking any further, this is definitely worth a try.

Once again we had a fantastic evening at The Old Stamp House. Lovely atmosphere, great staff, and of course the food was perfect as usual. And that was matched with some beautiful wines too. Thanks for making it a wonderful evening for my wife's birthday! We're just gutted we don't live closer to visit more often!

Absolutely amazing food ! Always a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Yesterday we had brunch the flat bread and brisket burger were so tasty ! Recently we visited for the steaks and a glass of wine , all were cooked to perfection , flavours were all delicious . Also celebrated a big birthday here with Family with the Tasting Menu was awesome ! The best place to dine in Ulverston without a doubt ! Can’t wait to visit again !

Wow , loved this place . We felt like royalty . We were in room 8 , great spacious room , fab bath with views to die for , ( while in the bath ) . Loved the secret bar , then to top it of a chauffeur picked us up after are evening meal ,. Great breakfast to top it all off . Highly recommend
