Go Forth - Ullswater in Eden

What a great experience we had this morning paddle boarding on Ulswater. The instructor was nothing short of superb and got us all up and enjoying the water really quickly. The equipment at this centre was also really high quality and we felt totally safe with the buoyancy aids provided. Our group was diverse - me a rotund 50 something to my 18 year old daughter and while the duration we stayed stood up may have varied we all managed it and enjoyed crossing the lake. In summary - this is a superb activity, great value for money and I highly recommend the experience to anyone else.

My 11 year old Niece had a go for the first time. Very safe with life jacket provided and expanding ankle strap attatched to the board. The area of the lake is ideal for young families, the water is shallow quite far out, but deep enough for the boards. Short outline of how to use the board, oar and how to stand is given before you start. Excellent value at £17 per hour.

Definitely worth 5 stars- I had the vegan nachos and the portion was huge and very tasty. It’s not often that you can find a good vegetarian option. I would highly recommend a bite to eat here- great food and a superb view over the lake.

Superb gourmet hotdogs and nachos - lots of choice of different hotdogs & even some vegan options. Very friendly service & the location is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the lake to eat our hotdogs and nachos - highly recommended!

Had the British bulldog, was splendid. The glizzy was very big. All the lads enjoyed very much. 5 stars from me.
