We all had a lovely lunch at Hampsfell. We have visited many times before and both my daughters, who are not local, asked if we could go there again. Food always of a great quality and standard. Very 'scrummy'. I have already booked to go again twice before Xmas. Thank you for looking after us so well.

What a find! We have been to Grange several times but never found this hotel before. It was suggested to us by the lady at our B and B. Wonderful hosts and really good food. Would definitely recommend.

We visited this restaurant twice on our visit to Grange over Sands . It's a little out of the way but really worth a visit. The food on both occasions was exceptional. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Delighted that pizzas will be served fortnightly from now on our village. Tried a pizza from the van for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint! They were able to do half/half as I was sharing with my 4 year old who only likes margaritas. I had chicken with mushrooms and extra olives dipped in the garlic and herb sauce. It was a taste sensation. Can't wait to slowly work our way through the menu. My husband's excited to join us too!

3, Terrace, Belsfield House, Back Belsfield Rd Med ShedTucked away from the main drag in Bowness it’s a little delight. Hand made sandwiches to order and delicious looking cakes. Amazing value as well. Definitely worth making the effort to find it.

2 Stricklandgate, Kendal, LA9 4ND, United KingdomCame here for my friend Grihogs (Grihogian) birthday. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. the best night ever. Even got to meet the local celebrity who used to play county pool. Such a nice and down to earth guy. Wouldn't even have known!!!
