Andrea and Paul are delightful people. We visited for Afternoon Tea. Celebrating my husband's 18 th Birthday. He is a leap year. The food was lovely . Sandwiches, cookies, scones jam and cream, and fairy cakes decorated with littles 18 decorated triangles. Well Worth a visit.

Great tasting and very filling food for a good price. There's always a warm welcome at Mel's and I've been quite a few times now! The coffee is excellent, the cooked breakfasts are really tasty and use good quality ingredients. You can even pay it forward and help other people by contributing a bit more when you pay so they can support others in need. The new lunches are great value and very tasty. My son devoured the absolutely huge chicken and ribs combo pictured and said it was delicious. Liver and bacon is also on the menu, which pleased my Mum as she said she hadn't had it in years. All round excellent place for a quick bit or a larger meal.

Stopped here enroute to Cornwall for lunch, which was absolutely spot on, staff were friendly and welcoming, and after our delicious lunch decided to have coffee and cake which was fantastic, but my favourite part of the visit was the beautiful Therapy dog the owner had, highly recommended this little gem of a place.

We hired this venue for my mums 80th party and could not be more pleased with everything it provides It was a extremely hot day but unlike a lot of hire venues it is fully air conditioned Very good facilities , well stocked bar The food which is cooked on site and we had a three course roast dinner was absolutely beautiful all fresh and served promptly and with style The staff were extremely friendly and helpful A very good size venue with dance floor , stage area and lovely decor I could not of chose a better venue and will recommend and use again without hesitation

A lovely little find full of warmth great coffee and wonderful scrumptious little treats and more. Cosy interior great service full of loving kindness.

We both had the small fish and chips and the portion size was too big to eat it all. Chips were cooked to perfection. The fish was in a light batter, freshly cooked and again cooked to perfection. This is as good as my favourite chip shop in Beauly.

Amazing food, great service, overall experience was exceptional! Will come back again again. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

La comida es simplemente excelente, especialmente las sopas; el personal es realmente encantador, por lo que este lugar es tan especial. Mis colegas y yo no podemos elogiarlo lo suficiente.

Mi madre y yo almorzamos el 23 de agosto en The Refectory, Golders Green. Tuvimos la comida tailandesa y la calidad, presentación y sabor fue excepcional. Viniendo de Malasia, conocemos los sabores tailandeses y no nos decepcionaron. Para colmo el personal en el pub era tan amable, educado y servicial Recomendaría este lugar encarecidamente. This is a great space for a quick break on the harbour arm. Great host, fab coffee and treats. Still has some of the signal box original features too if you're into that. Go visit!

Wonderful little bakery in Aberfoyle. We popped in to find some treats to take home after our holiday- ended up buying half the shop lol! Staff were delightful and very friendly and can be watched making the shop's goods. Lovely products from traditional Scottish gifts to biscuits, cakes, jams and chutneys. All very reasonably priced and packaged so beautifully we bought lots of items as gifts. We bought a Mars tray bake, lemon and elderberry and Tea cakes, shortbreads and numerous flavours of cookies. All were absolutely delicious and melt-in-the-mouth. An absolute must-visit if anywhere in the area. Will definitely be ordering more online, thank you!

Visited the sister cafe in Broughty Ferry. Really enjoyed the Brownie, which was one of the best I've tasted. The coffee was very good too. We had the Four Seasons blend, which I think is the house blend. We will be back, and will try the Brechin Cafe the next time we are there.

Muy simplemente el mejor helado que he probado! El servicio es insuperable y una amplia selección de sabores. No te pierdas esta. Vale la pena el viaje en tranvía hasta la parada en Bispham y la tienda está justo enfrente.

Spot on great atmosphere definitely worth going again 👍 friendly people and staff and the snacks were really value for money
