We popped in for lunch after a visit to Tretower Castle. Unexpected delight. The food choices were great, many options. It was delicious food and beautifully presented. The staff were all friendly. We were sitting outside as we had our dog with us, but were told it was fine to bring him upstairs as it looked like it might rain. Proper food made by a proper chef.

Working local to Weston today , decided to treat my son to a bit of lunch . We both opted for the Peri Peri Chicken ,he had wings and I had thighs . We chose skin on fries and slaw , oh my goodness is all I can say to describe our meal . I’m so glad we hadn’t got a lot to do this afternoon, both full up with good quality and tasty food . Excellent service and very friendly staff at this venue. We have had a great breakfast in the past , only thing now is to try a Sunday roast . We have had good recommendations about the roast.

The quality of the food served at the establishment was truly commendable, earning a rating of four stars. It is worth noting that the shop primarily functions as a takeaway joint, which means that there is limited space allocated for customers who prefer to dine in. Visitors should be aware that there is a noticeable step at the entrance, clearly marked for safety. Access to the shop is controlled through a buzzer system, requiring acknowledgment before entry is granted. An important detail to bear in mind is that the shop operates on a cash-only basis, lacking the convenience of a card payment system. However, patrons it is a roadside parking facilities. Despite these limitations, the waiting time for orders is pleasantly short, making it a convenient dining option. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this establishment for its delicious food and efficient service.

Very tasty food and very affordable price. Local and unfussy feel - I would recommend if you like fish and seafood. Out of all the dishes we ordered I would highly recommend the sardines (the special that day) and the seabass

Went to the folly for a carvery roast. Food was lovely but none of the staff acted like the way knew what they were doing. No one explained how the carvery worked and we were sat for 10 minutes trying to figure out what we were meant to do. Secondly, we requested for a single wine glass 4 times before it was brought to us. 4 times!!!!!! And every time we were told it’s on its way. I worked in hospitality as a waitress myself, I understand you can get busy, but this was ridiculous. All our drink orders where wrong and to top it off we were overcharged. There was one waiter who told us he had only been working for 2 weeks and he was the best out of all of them. I will reiterate that the food was lovely and as it was Mother’s Day they gave my mother and my grandma free desserts. But the service was less than adequate.
