Great spot - excellent food, gifts and coffee! Although there is nothing nearby to compare it with - it is all the better for it, as I don’t want to go anywhere else!

Tasty food served by a family run business. I visit this fish bar regularly and have been impressed with the food and also how much they support and care for the community around them. They are always ready to support the local, special needs, Newark Orchard School alongside other worthy causes. Well worth a visit!

He estado aquí bastantes veces ahora, y cuanto más voy más he observado que el propietario parece tener problemas con las mujeres. Está bien con sus clientas, a menudo siendo sarcástico de una manera bromista con las normales. Sin embargo, cuando hay hombres que son habituales allí y ninguna mujer (al menos no en el frente) , las bromas machistas se convierten en algo que podría esperar encontrar en un pub o en un partido de fútbol, pero no en un café, y se hace mucho hincapié en la hombría y la masculinidad. Hubo gritos, (mi amigo y yo no podíamos escucharnos hablar) de un ejemplo de cómo el espacio es dominado e invadido, menospreciando a las mujeres, es decir: Un hombre dijo: "Hoy fui a la ciudad, el dueño respondió: "¿Llegaste como una mujer? Discutir a las mujeres de una manera despectiva y cuando estaba allí solo, me senté atrás observando, el lenguaje era espantoso. Escuché la palabra C del dueño 3 o 4 veces. Si eres una mujer por tu cuenta, serás ignorada ya que no serás parte de tales bromas masculinas, y puede que no te sientas cómoda. No impresionado. Es una pena porque todo lo demás en este café es muy razonable.

Fácilmente uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Londres, que golpea significativamente por encima de su peso (al menos debería tener una estrella, si no dos). Cada visita es una alegría, ya sea en solitario o como parte de un grupo. Los cursos están finamente preparados y bien equilibrados, con una excelente mezcla de sabores y texturas. Los maridajes de vinos están bien elegidos, y a menudo son interesantes o inesperados. El servicio es siempre cálido y amable.

Really lovely place. Very friendly staff. Clean. Delicious cheese scone, warmed, and served with great chutney. I also had Earl Grey tea served in a stylish teapot and white china cup and saucer. Will return next time I visit Norwich!

Had never been in this delightful cafe before not sure why as I pass by often. Had a lovely lunch. Specials board good choice. Lovely pot of tea with a nice cup and saucer. Nice welcoming staff. Will certainly return

We dropped in after a ten mile hike so we’re pretty hungry. The place looked busy but had lots of empty tables so we decided to give it a shot. Ordering at the bar took some time as only one girl taking orders and making drinks. She advised 25-30 mins wait for food but I took a gamble and ordered. The food came in about 15-20 mins so not too bad but could tell they had been caught out by the lovely sunny day/1st March. Helmsley was packed! Anyway food was okay just over priced for what you get. Tuna melt ciabatta with some skinny fries (not homemade) and a small salad £13.50. Also if you’re paying those kind of prices should get something amazing but it was just average. Not bad but nothing special. No cutlery or napkins brought to tables and had to ask as none left in the little trays inside either. Sauce in hard to open sachets and loos were a bit untidy. Like I said think they were short staffed or caught out with weather.

Me encanta la comida libanesa y esto fue de primera categoría. Mi amiga es un cliente habitual, así que quería llevarme. Ambiente informal relajado, bonita decoración. La comida era sabrosa buen tamaño de porción y el pan era el mejor pan libanés que he comido. Hay una increíble selección de bebidas calientes y frías que tuvimos la bebida de rosa y limón. La camarera era educadamente amable y no agresivo. Buena relación calidad-precio Volveré de nuevo

La comida aquí es preciosa hoy, y el personal era encantador, lo recomendaría encarecidamente 😋. Un verdadero hallazgo. Muy buen ambiente 👌 Sin duda volveremos a visitar.

Very lovely place with lovely staff. Openly lbgtq friendly atmosphere. The food was really well prepared & made in a timely manner too.

Me and my husband came here for an early valentines date night. I booked a table after reading good reviews. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Even taking a photo of us abs sending to us. The food was delicious, we had starters, mains and dessert. All really good, particularly the crispy duck salad and the summer maki. We also really liked the Yasai tempuri. It’s the best meal out we’ve had in ages. We would definitely come again! I’ll share photos.

Excellent experience. Drove to the takeaway in person to order and collect. It’s cash only which I already knew. Very reasonably priced. Was only waiting about 15 minutes for the food. Generous portions of food all very nicely freshly cooked. In particular the very large spring rolls were delicious. They were generously filled with lots of flavour and a good mix of veg meat and prawns. The pancake was light fluffy yet crispy and not oily. Really enjoyed our meal and will returning. Worth the trip just for the pancake rolls.
