Delicious coffee and a yummy brownie ---- ask Christina to heat it for the full effect! I buy all of my flowers from here --- the arrangements are beautiful.

Stopped by for a browse and a coffee whilst my lady was at an appointment. Lovely welcoming proprietor/assistants, to this unusual and interesting shop. The coffee and homemade cakes are excellent, the other offerings looked great too! There are fantastic and very unusual homeware items for sale, and I believe fresh flowers are available too. If I lived closer to TW I would definitely be in this shop often! Thank you…

Apart from the delicious food and drink, there is the conversation and the banter. On my last visit, I ended up buying a fab garden pot and a print of Dungeness --- Derek Jarman's place! 100% recommend visiting Zavens!

Of course, with COVID it is impossible to stay and chat but the take-away food and drinks... mmm. Yummy! I recommend the coffee cake and in this hot weather, the iced-coffee. The chocolate brownies are great too. Whilst there, I stocked up on greeting cards and good quality wrapping paper.

Every time I visit Zavens, the conversation is fascinating. It's one of those places where everyone feels at home and chats with many around them. The coffee (and teas) are excellent and Christina's homemade sponges are delicious. Of course, it is a great place for cards, flowers and gifts too! Oh, I forgot to mention her soups! Yummy!

Another enjoyable visit to Zaven's! Yes, the cakes are wonderful and the soup is delicious! However, it's the conversation that makes Zaven's different. People just chat away --- often to people whom they have never met before. The art of conversation is certainly alive!

Disaster! I mislaid one of my pressies for my wife---and it was her birthday that very day! I walked up to Zaven's, enjoyed a delicious coffee and a piece of coffee cake before attempting to find a gift.. Why was I fretting? Christina, the owner, soon came up with some ideas and... well, the purple cashmere scarf was extremely well-received by my wife. In fact, it was one of her favourite presents! Phew! Thanks Christina!

Christina, the owner, always has so many delicious rolls, salads and soups. Lots of cakes and cookies too! There is a good selection of teas and the coffee is very moorish. I like to eat/drink inside but there is an enchanting courtyard too ---- cool in the mornings ad warm in the afternoons. Zavens is a great place to buy little gifts, cards, plants, sparklythings... the list goes on!

You do know about this little treasure don't you? Apart from lots of yummy snacks (the homemade soups are so popular with the current cold weather) and the varieties of drinks, Zavens is a shop in which you can browse for some time. Of course, you may wish to stay seated with your food and drink, conversing and having fun... but there are old and new curiousities to be purchased... silver... candles... some books... Spring bulbs... soft toys... well, look at the photos for yourself! Better than that, visit Christina's little gem of a shop. Oh, if you're thinking flowers, try Zavens for bouquets, arrangements and cut flowers. I have bought several bouquets and a Christmas wreath over the last 12 months and I have been delighted with them. One word of warning, you could find Zavens addictive!

This is a great place to visit if you'd like a great coffee, tea, juice.... slice of a delicious sponge, chocolate brownie to die for or a huge cheese straw. Every day there's a different homemade soup on offer and there are plenty of other yummies to snack on. The filled rolls are prepared on site. In the warmer seasons there is seating in the courtyard. Christina, the friendly owner, also produces the most amazing bouquets and other floral arrangements. She is a trained florist who enjoys a creative challenge. Great value too. I no longer buy flowers from anywhere else. The shop is full of other curious pieces: candles and cards, photos and paintings, ceramics and clocks, books and bangles.... some of the pieces are old and some modern. A 'must' visit when considering something unusual as a present... The service from both Christina and her assistant, Sally, is wonderful. Join in the conversation with regulars and locals.... I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Fancy a coffee, some cake or a light lunch? You must go to Zaven's where the staff are as charming as the place.Need a gift? You must go to Zaven's for the wonderfully eclectic choice of gifts and vintage items. There isn't a lot of seating but they do have a tiny courtyard garden where you can sit if the weather is fine. They only serve cakes, snacks and light lunches but what they do serve is delicious!Quite simply it's a little haven - a little jewel in Tunbridge Wells.

Sweet little cafe close to the pantiles. Very cosy, owner very chatty. We had two tuna melts (little side salad with nicoise was nice add-on) with a flat white and a soft drink. Came to just under thirty quid. Slightly pricey for my liking but then might be a Tunbridge Wells thing. Hence one star knocked off.

Stumbled across this wine bar when we were looking for some pre dinner drinks. Wonderful cosy atmosphere and classy yet funky interior. Friendly and professional service and wonderful wine ( Alsace Pinot Blanc.. my favourite)! We will definitely be back and will make sure to eat next time too!

Great place for breakfast for vegans and non-vegans. We all loved our waffles, especially the banana and nut one. Service was terrific.

I genuinely think their hummingbird cake is the best cake I've ever eaten and I'm very much a cake afficionado. Absolute wonder. The place is gorgeous and tasteful and the service's lovely.
