Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club Restaurant in Dover

Sunday lunch was not good at all. Two very small thin slices of meat , hard un-crispy potatoes, and a bowl of steamed vegetables. It did not feel like a tasty delicious roast lunch that you go out for a treat. No parsnips, no stuffing, no crackling or cauliflower cheese. The Yorkshire was quite burnt. The lemon possett I had for dessert was delicious. Shame about the roasts. The service was not particularly welcoming or friendly. Really lovely views out across the sea.

Very disappointed with Sunday lunch! One small bowl of vegetables between 4 people! Very basic, meat, potatoes and little veg with a Sunday lunch! Oh, the Yorkshire pudding was lovely.

Superb quality ingredients in the Albatross Breakfast. Very pleased this place is open to non members and non golfers. Great view too.

Wonderful meal, I had the sea bass, watched beef and Yorkshire puddings, Turkey, all lovely food coming out fresh vegetables piping hot, salmon starters and lovely puddings. Whole place tastefully decorated, plus anyone can book for Sunday lunches will definitely be going again I with my bowling group, for Christmas dinner. Excellent value for money, wine reasonable priced.

We enjoyed a fabulous sit diwn three course meal today, in all there was probably 50 guest The food was excellent, the staff were xcellent, the location and views were excellent. Thank you

Club house restaurant, staff are polite & friendly . Food very average, unless you like burgers there is very little choice on the menu so a sandwich it was. Food was nice but nothing special.

After a round of golf we were looking forward to the odd pint and the meal which I had ordered for the 18 golfers. We had a first class meal at a very good price all served with a smile. Well done

Have to stop here for a pint after your game of reflect to enjoy the views! Also had lunch here which was very reasonably priced (less than £5 for ham, egg and chips!) and very tasty. Very friendly golf club with great service too.

A nice golf club with with the most fantastic views on every hole. The clubhouse has fantastic views over the channel to France. Nice coffee and excellent sandwiches. A good pint or a glass of wine

Always a good meal to be had. The staff are excellent, cooks and waitresses alike. Lovely views over the sea. What more could you ask for

It was clean and spacious and the food was good. Food and drink pricey but only to be expected at a snobby golf club. We have eaten in many golf clubs throughout the country but this is the only one we were made to feel "out of place". Not at all friendly even though we were guests of a member.

We thoroughly enjoyed an excellent meal. TThe first course was served at the table and then self service for roast and puddings Choice of 3 roasts and several vegetables all perfectly cooked.Of the 7 puddings on offer, all were home made with the exception of the pecan roulade. And there was also cheese and biscuits The only criticism was that there was no vegetarian meal on offer. The room was bright and airy, with the benefit of geat sea views.
