Love this pub, its more than just a pub. Its a great place to meet friends for a beer or take family for food. Nice relaxed service and always the best standards.

Came in with my sister to cheer her up and we both ordered the hallumi and red pepper kebabs, which are amazing. Ellie and Aimee were fantastic

Lunch menu very over priced for what was a cheap steak and chips with a tomatoes (no sauce) tasted bland and was very chewy Started okay nothing fancy Quite disappointed

It was our wedding day and though I'm not a regular the went above and beyond to make us comfortable, welcomed and spoilt. Decorating the table really went above and beyond.

Lovely and welcoming atmosphere, with even a welcoming station for dogs filled with treats and water bowls. The staff were always friendly and attentive to detail, food quality is also amazing and never disappoints. Will definitely be returning.

This is the 2nd visit for us. Lovely food. Staff pleasant. Nice decor. Belly pork succulent. I'm Coeliac, so very happy to receive separate gluten free menu.

Went for my birthday and it was an AMAZING meal! Staff were able to change out things in certain meals for some of us, very friendly and aware of gluten free food, and even wrote happy birthday in sauce with my dessert!! The quality of food was amazing too, high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend for an amazing meal!

Fabulous service. Exquisite food. Well, worth every penny. The atmosphere is relaxing. I came with my parents to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. My mother and I had the lamb shank followed by Salted caramel sundae. Both were delicious. My father had Whitby scampi followed by fruit crumble and ice cream. All was excellent. Well worth another visit!

Our waitress Jorja was lovely. Very friendly attentive, and made sure we were happy with everything - which we were. Food was amazing! Would definitely recommend :)

Tasty food, prompt service and friendly staff

Willowbeck never let's us down. Whether busy or quiet, tonight Jorja and Alisha made our little party very welcome with their friendly demeanor. Oh and the food and drink always nice.

Extremely friendly and efficient staff. Order was taken quickly, drinks arrived quickly and food not too long afterwards. We all had different meals and all really enjoyed them. Lovely chat with the staff too- especially Jorja x

The food was amazing, I had the chorizo mac and cheese as it was recommended to us and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and so attentive to our table making sure we had everything. Can’t wait to return very soon to try more of the new menu

First of all the starter, I thought we were getting child’s portions, 7.00 for a bowl of soup, which tasted lovely but it was in a small bowl only half full, not what I’d call a bowl of soup. My husband got steak 22.00 steak was great cooked just how he likes, he got about 6 chips would have been 8 but the waitress dropped two as she brought the meals over, the plate was half empty and for the price an onion ring would have been nice not worth the money. I had Sunday dinner Pork, again pork was lovely, the veg though one teaspoon of red cabbage a few peas and 3 strips of carrot the Yorkshire pudding was flat and had a thick uncooked pancake bottom, why put mange tout on a Sunday dinner I’d rather have more cabbage, very disappointing the staff all jump to the door when you come in and then slowly traipse around like they have nothing to do. We used to go there a lot when it first opened won’t be back, we go out usually every Sunday there’s so much better out their. My husband paid 30.00 for his meal and starter, we went somewhere else last week everyone said it’s expensive it was 22.00 for starter and Sunday dinner packed to the rafters, the meal was great starter and main how can I return to you when I can get so much better. Not for me again I’m afraid.

Had fabulous Sunday dinner here would highly recommend 😋 service was excellent as well. Looking forward to returning.

Good car park for plenty of cars. Always a good choice of dishes and the specials. Went early Friday even so not too busy. Would recommend booking just to be safe. Service was good. Staff very pleasant

Saturday night we visited this place it was half empty. Order the olives and bread while we all ordered our food. 10 minutes later the waitress came back and told us we don't have any of them..!!!! I asked why especially on a Saturday, she " cos we don't" I ordered the full mixed grill, what a let down.. The very small portions of meat were terrsble. I asked for it all to be cooked rare, it came burnt. The chipolata which was supposed to be a sausage was black.. The rest of the party orded scampy. They got 8 small pieces with 14 chips and a spoon of peas. What a disgrace. I spent £80 for diabolical meal. I will never use this place again. I give it all 1star as it won't let me put a minus..... If your reading this I encourage you NOT TO either....

We went for 30% Thursday to have one of your excellent steaks each, but alas you did not have any due to a delivery issue. We decided to share a mixed grill which has a perfect piece of rump, but the rest was not to our liking. Finished with a melting chocolate bomb thing, fine finisher. We like your establishment because service and food are always very good.

Lovely festive menu, excellent staff very helpful & friendly

Our meal was very nice, Nice & hot & the plates were hot too. We just seemed to have to wait for 3/4 of an hour. for our starters. But appart from that, overall it was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us.

I had the sea bass main it was really nice apart from the butter was as hard as a rock and there wasn’t really a sauce with the dish apart from that the food was excellent

Came here today for lunch with PapaBear….i was delightfully impressed. Having only eaten within the world of earth for the last 24 hours due to completing a spell in Narnia, this food really hit the spot. Estella was on point! Staff delightful although did not sing Christmas songs, did have songs on the radio. A few more elf’s and and an ice cream factory and the willowbeck will be on point. 🌸☀️🌻

We had not pre-booked, but the staff were able to accommodate us and find us a table without fuss. The restaurant was fairly busy but service was prompt, warm and helpful. In particular, the restaurant was great at responding to my needs as a coeliac and was also sensitive enough to check whether there were any other allergies/intolerances in our party. Food came quickly but not rushed and was presented well (including allergy stick!) and great sensitivity continued to be shown to allergy needs, including ensuring that the table (especially where I sat) was clean. There was a great range of available foods suitable for all dietary needs and small variations to meals (e.g. no peas) were dealt with well. Service was warm, friendly and helpful and staff checked if everything was ok without being intrusive. They were even able to be responsive to me being able to benefit from the special deal lunch menu even though we only wanted one course (and that particular menu did not have an NGCI equivalent menu).

Prompt polite service, clean and warm

Disappointed, you stated on your menu kebabs on pitta bread (which is plural) in actual fact it was a kebab consisting of more onions and peppers than chicken and chorizo. This is false advertising. Also the vanilla ice cream doesn’t taste of anything at all. We were not even asked if everything was ok. We will not be returning.

The staff are so friendly and efficient, the food and drinks are excellent, like the look of the festive menu, may try that next time. (Never seem to have the mushroom Aranchini when we ask for it which is a shame.) Like the specials menu also. Always excellent food in a wonderful atmosphere and always clean and nicely decorated. Our favourite place to eat.

We a 30% off voucher But thought the menu was inflated and larger is 5.95 a pint which we thought was high portion size I little small but after getting home and looking at a photo we had sent to a family friend noticed one of the meals did have the garden peas which where ordered instead of mushy So put a bit of a Downer on it shame we didn't realize while there .

Lunch at the Willow Beck was great. Food was faultless and delicious. We couldn't have asked for more.

Love the atmosphere and location, kind of tucked away from town, although we visited outside busy hours. Food was normal like you'll find in British restaurants. No issues or concern and will happily recommend.

I had a wonderful lunch date with my wife at a cozy restaurant. The service was prompt and the waiter, Will, made us feel warmly welcomed throughout our meal. We started with a delightful tomato soup that was bursting with flavor. The main course, the steak and ale pie, was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. To complement our meal, we chose a full-bodied Malbec, which paired beautifully with the rich flavors of the pie. And for dessert, we indulged in a mouth-watering tiramisu that left us craving for more. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience with great food, attentive service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. We highly recommend this place for a delightful meal with your loved ones.

The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the service was outstanding, over all it was a brilliant night over all.

I ordered a medium rib eye steak but it came rare with the chips on the plate swimming in blood, obviously rushing to get the food out and not letting it rest.

Booked for 10 people at fairly short notice. All got sat a drinks served within minutes by a fantastic waitress. Same lass took our orders and had a crack with us. Food came out all together and hot. Every single one of us enjoyed our food and only clean plates went back. The service was absolutely top notch and the food matched. Highly recommended, a credit to all staff.

Fantastic value for the 12 to 5 menu. We all had two courses which were delicious.loved the butternut squash soup. Alisha and especially,Jorja were very helpful and knowledgeable. We will be back mid December for the very reasonable Xmas menu.

The service we received was excellent ... all staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, particularly the daughter of the managers and the quality of the food was excellent. We were on the lunch time special (£14.25 for two courses) which we thought was a great value for money deal!

A very enjoyable visit. Such amazing service from the minute we walked through the door. The food was also top notch i had the chicken kebab and my partner had sausage and mash both were full of flavour and presented well. Can't wait to visit again keep up the good work.

Ordered 2 Sunday lunches and 1 main meal. The Sunday lunch was the most tasteless Sunday lunch I have ever had. Watery gravy and the parsnips were undercooked. I paid the bill and wasn't asked if everything was OK. Won't be returning!

Came the other day to make use of the fantastic 30% offer. A guy called Will served me and the family and couldn’t have been more helpful. All staff were attentive. Atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. The food was delicious and even though it was busy, the food still came out quite quickly. Would definitely come again and recommend to all.

We were a large group, ordering food a drinks. The service was excellent, Georgia (I'm sure that was her name, maybe spelt wrong, I do apologise), was friendly, helpful! She ensured throughout our time we had enough drinks, information regarding food and intolerances. She gave us plenty of time to ensure everyone had enough time to pick their food, checked in and was great. All staff were amazing, food was excellent! Would definitely recommend and visit again soon! Thank you so much for making my birthday magical with my family.

Service was ok, friendly at least. Food was less than average, steak was small for the price, chips where frozen, small amount of everything. Waitress asked what sauce for the steaks but failed to mention each one cost £2 extra, a small pot and only half full. It was supposed to be a set menu for £14.75 but then in the small print at the end it mentioned £2 extra for each steak so hiding extra costs within the menu. A small pot of onion rings again extra £3.95 each. I think you can see where this is going. A £14.74 meal deal is suddenly £22.70 Drinks where expensive also, felt very ripped off! Ceratainly wouldn't go again or recommend.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy area. Dogs are well catered for. The food is typical pub grub.
