Never had a bad meal here, very nice staff and food 👌.

Really nice place and lovely staff. Really clean place and smell really good. Only problem the food … was quite blend tbh. We took a curry and a kurma. Kinda was real sweet but was ok but the curry was random and blend. Naan was really good. Rice perfectly cooked. I am just disappointed the curry was watery and the chicken was so overcooked and dry. I want to try again tbh another dish to make sure it was a random mistake and i will update my rating. Otherwise the rating of this place would be different I would like to think.

Can’t rate this place enough. The staff, especially Zaman was amazing and very attentive We wasn’t sure what to order so gave him our preferences and he then recommended the dishes for us which we all loved. Also a mention to Naz and Binyamin. A lovely cosy restaurant where nothing is too much trouble. Definitely recommend and worth a visit. We are already planning our next dining experience with them.

We headed here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy, so we were pleased there was an available table for us with no waiting, The staff were all fantastic and knowledgeable about their menu and their customers tastes. Our waiter helped us make great choices which was no easy task as one of us is a meat eater and the other is vegetarian. We were both able to share everything except the rice dish where we both ordered our own. The food kept on coming and each mouthful was more delicious than the last. The welcome was warm and and friendly and we will return again when we visit the area. We walked back to our hotel a mile away with full tummies and happy hearts.

We decided to take the 30 minute walk from our hotel despite having an indian just around the corner. This purely based on previous reviews and it didn't disapoint The staff are helpful and friendly, making recommendations based on new menu items to try. It tasted great, I highly recommend you try it!

Our group of 7 arrived early evening in the off-chance of getting a table. The restaurant staff could not have been more accommodating and found us the last table. Despite being early Monday evening the restaurant was already full and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Staff friendly, attentive and informative about our choices, without being overwhelming. All in our group agreed 100% that our meals were absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced. It's a shame we live on the south coast otherwise we would be regulars at 'The Spice'. Thoroughly recommend.

We have been in Tunbridge Wells for nearly 5 years and we usually still went to our out of town Indian Restaurants. We decided to try The Spice on Friday the 21st July 2023. Just wow! We were really pleased. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Staff were so friendly and engaging. Made for a superb experience. We will definitely be returning.

Ordered from Uber Eats, food was delicious and arrived quickly. I can see why people say it's the best in Tunbridge Wells. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the portions are generous and the quality is definitely worth it.

Really enjoyed eating here and will come back again. The waiter was excellent and acommodating of my allergies, the food was amazing, the vibes were immaculate.

Whether I’m having a takeaway or sitting in, The Spice is always my go to for an Indian, the food is consistently delicious and full of flavour and the staff are always really friendly.

Called up relatively late and was able to get a table for 2nd service on a busy Saturday night. Food was fantastic and full of flavour. Service was friendly and attentive, food came out of the kitchen at a good speed too. Chutneys with the popadums were very good, nice level of sweetness, consistency, tartness. Usually I expect at least one of the sauces will need to be put aside but I enjoyed them all, great start! Grilled Paneer sides with dipping sauces were very good, lamb sag was very tender and good depth of flavour, chicken jalfrezi was delicious too and had a few dimensions to the sauce. Rice and naan breads were also very good. Great job to the staff! Will certainly be back for more for dine in and takeaway!

First time here from a friends referral. The waiters were polite while the food was just soso. The major problem for me was the ventilation. The burning smoke came from the dishes just linger the room. The Lamb Nawabi was a bit sweet for me. The Chicken sizzle Jalali was too not as nice as expected. Chiken was too dry. We were also worry about the source for popadon are being reused because I noticed the waiter collected it just leave them back from where it’s serving from. Bit overrated as normal tw restaurant

I moved to Tunbridge wells in May 2022 and was introduced to The Spice by a work colleague and mate Rory and it is quite simply the best Indian restaurant that I have ever been to....the food is EXCELLENT and everyone there makes you feel so welcome and I am looking forward to many more visits to The Spice 😋😋

Been here a few times as a big group, tonight was just us two. Wonderful food and wine (the chutneys with the poppadoms were so good). Super tasty. Staff were very friendly.

I decided to go for an anniversary with my other half, omg this place has made our night, the staff here are unbelievable, they are super friendly and helped me with the menu and not a single thing they suggested was bad, we had a starter of 4 sauces and popadoms we had a few drinks and even got a small milkshake for free, we all had a laugh and the atmosphere is beautiful. We had 3 mains a side a few drinks and starters all came up to only £60. Once we finished we got a nice tin tray to put our leftovers in, a warm lemon tissue to clean our hands and after 8s. It's no wonder they have so many good reviews the service was remarkable, would definitely recommend a night out here. The only regret I have is wearing white!

On Saturday night I spontaneously dined within The Spice after a day of drinking in Tunbridge Wells. As a self-proclaimed curry aficionado I usually avoid the typical high street dives that claim to be a curry house. However. I believe this curry house to be not just the best in Tunbridge Wells, or even Kent, but potentially the best in the Northern hemisphere. 8 Years ago I embarked on a pilgrimage through India and Bangladesh where I experienced the fiery elegance of South Asian cuisine. To this day I have never experienced anything remotely similar, until today. The Spice is phenomenal in every aspect. The waiting staff are reminiscent of The Ritz, with a Bengali twist and familiarity that makes you feel right at home. Extra special mention to Onim, Taher, Ash and Youngman himself. 10/10 scran. Like many other people I can't fault the food. When I ordered a drink with added lemonade & they used coke which we refused their attitude seemed to change. When we got the bill the drink served incorrectly was on it & I was being charged for it. They did take it off but I don't believe it was on there as a mistake. CHECK YOU BILL PEOPLE
