The Rose has completely renovated their garden, it's now twice the size and a real gem in the heart of Bexleyheath. Staff here have always been very nice. Take the opportunity to try the garden next sunny day in Bexleyheath.

Typical high street pub that needs something of an update.... this said service excellent ans staff very friendly. Guinness was superb and of the five pubs we visited by far the best pour and taste. I personally prefer this type and style of pub but if your looking for trendy and lively location probably other pubs in Bexleyheath will tick your box better!

Comfortable, small, old style pub. The sort of pub you might expect in a village location, instead of a high street. Although a lot of regulars crowd the bar, the friendly bar staff delivered a prompt service. Draught beer was in good condition as well. There was a great selection on my visit: Doom Bar, London Pride, Proper Job and Theakstons Grouse Beater. I only stayed for one, and would have liked to have tried them all. There are a lot of things to look at on the walls, check out the jugs and bottles displayed as well.

Lovely pub with wonderful staff- ready for a chat and a laugh. Quite a few people in when we were there but very pleasant and definitely no animosity to us drop-in non-locals. There are two doors at the front but don't worry they both lead to the one bar. The Guinness was excellent and the Doom Bar as well. Just a quick historical note: the roses out the front are very white, but the rose behind the bar has a red light on it. Make of this what you will.

Lovely pub. The owner is really friendly and kind. I have only been going there recently and have been made very welcome. The other staff members are really lovely too. The food I've had has also been great. . . .Enjoy!

Lovely owners and staff. Great time there and nice atmosphere. Even with a dodgy leg, I manged to dance to some soul tunes playing.

My Wife and I, had really lovely meal here. The portions were really generous and had job eating it all. The chips were great and had a really nice omelette, I would recommend a visit here.

First time visiting, on a Sunday. Popped in for some food and was told it was a roast only. We went for the pork roast, and it was amazing!!! Full of variety and flavour, we will definitely be back

Although I've lived in this area for over 20yrs, I've never tried the Rose Pub. There's always been so many others, but nowadays so many pubs have closed that at last I've tried the Rose. And I'm pleased to say on a Friday night it's a friendly welcoming place, event a little boisterous, but all in a safe way as I'm pretty confident that the avg age is probably 50+, yep, it's an old boys fart club for sure. And boy, am I so proud I was eligible for membership, lol. Only kidding. They had a great selection of draught beers with 3 guest beers. I counted at least 4+ largers on tap too. So after some 4 pints, me mate & me decided to call it a night. So, highly recommend, great atmosphere, cracking selection of beers, ales & largers. CHEERS. 🍺 🍻 🍺

Went if a quick drink on a Friday evening - quicknservuce and decent prices Place clean and tidy - think they show sports on the relevisions on the walls They were having live music but could not wait until they came on Only thing was I have never seen so many middle aged and older men in one place- didn't see any women whatsoever apart from bar staff Decent enough place for a drink through just a bit strange with the male dominated clientele

Went here with some friends for a night out and to let my hair down. We had a few drinks and was having a laugh. But the atmosphere and staff were awful. Very very rude and made us feel very unwelcome. At the end of the evening my friend and myself were very drunk…… we was basically slung out the pub very abruptly and asked to wait outside for our cab. In light of recent events that are happening in this world at the moment I felt this was absolutely disgusting. Yes I understand that the staff want to go home but I feel that you need to teach your staff basic customer service as they were rude and truly did not care about YOUR customers who pay THERE wages.

Been going to this pub for the last 15 years , and this is a proper geezers pub, before lock down they were doing basic food but the Sunday roast is lovely, plenty of everything and during lock down you could either have it delivered by the pub owner Simon or go and collect it from the pub, easy the cheapest roast in Bexleyheath at £11

Attended this local pub for the first time on Friday 30th October whilst in the area. Being really OCD. the cleanliness of this pub hit me straight away, WOW. I love visiting pubs where ever I go, I wished I lived local to this one, great range of keg and cask bees, I enjoyed a nice cold Moretti. Served by the landlord Simon. Really good vibe here, will definitely attend if I'm close by again. Well worth a visit if you fancy a nice pint in a good friendly local family run pub.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, sitting area out the front but love what they have done out the back of the pub for a outdoor sitting area, very impressed! Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed!

Nice pub but no social distancing whatsoever, 3 deep at the bar at all times. No table service. Not a mask in sight. Handwash available.

This is a nice pub with efficient and friendly staff that obviously has a lot of regulars. The only down side was that there was no social distancing or COVID-19 measures in place other than the hand sanatiser at the door. They do have a screen up on the bar but on a busy Saturday night it was like pre COVID times, people standing at the bar and standing room only. This isn’t a criticism as many prefer the atmosphere this brings, more a warning to those who are a bit more cautious.

We popped in the Rose pub for one of they're epic pub lunches ( Burger and Chips me and Scampi and Chips the wife ) and we were totally amazed , from the beginning ordering , to the excellent staff service the quality and tastiness of the food and the reasonable prices were all amazing , the pub and toilets were especially clean . We thoroughly recommend Simon and his team Well done A Bexley Resident 20 years Mr Tim C .

Nice pub with a good smoke area but heating was off on my visit. Price high at £4 for cheapest bitter. If it charged spoon price you'd need a reservation to get in but the truth is its under used lunchtime mainly because of price.

Lovely little local pub with decent beer and a nice bit of pub grub.

Missed my bus, looked up a few pubs that were still open in the area, The Rose was one of them, it was barely 10:30pm, and they're usually open until 11:30. Came in, mostly full pub, the lady was apologetic and told me they weren't serving anymore, didn't say why and why they closed early and proceeded to ask me to leave. It was okay, I stood there maybe for another 10 seconds trying to find somewhere else to go, at which she told me I couldn't just stay there for even another second, telling me to leave. With a pub literally full of people still eating and drinking. The not serving wasn't an issue, but how I was being kicked out after a few seconds of being there, not being in anyone's way was a bit upsetting. Wouldn't try again at any other time of day to be honest a bit afraid they'll just refuse again for some reason.

Met a mate for a drink there on Thursday night was made to feel very welcome. They have a very good selection of drinks. On Thursday night they have karaoke.

Decent beers and friendly team. Customers are not so friendly, mainly male and local, introvert. I would not visit very frequently, due to the type of customer it serves.

The best pub in Bexleyheath without a doubt. Great food, a regularly changing selection of real guest ales, and good sports coverage on TVs around the pub.

I was meeting up with friends in Bexleyheath. We stated off in The Kings Arms, but without eating, we walked down to The Rose. This Pub is the Jewel in the Crown for Bexleyheath Broadway. If you are of a certain age, you won't beat it. It's Warm & Friendly. Good Beer, Good Food, Good Prices & Friendly Staff. In the words of Arnie, " I'll be Back "
