The Queens Head in Elmbridge

We went for Sunday roasts and ordered the chicken and beef - both had a decent mix of vegetables - chicken needed stuffing (ie like the minnow) and the yorkshires were decent. The beef was beautifully cooked and tender. However……for some bizarre reason they are still serving vegan gravy which tastes horrible and really lets the meal down! When questioned the waiter said they couldn’t manage to do a vegan and normal gravy! Surely just need two pans! Not sure will be returning - which is a shame as otherwise food is good.

Ridiculous pricing, very average delivery,you are lucky if they even manage to bring the food out hot, items added to bill that weren't ordered. large mediocre glass of rose wine £15...............even the barmaid seemed embarrassed. I won't be back in a hurry.

Really great experience for such a large group. 12 of us went for dinner at the queens head and from the off it was great. The booking was easy and we were able to individually pay our own deposit and book our food with ease on the restaurants portal (in advance because we were such a large group). When we arrived we were all met with a very warm welcome and promptly asked if we would like to order a drink. Our main waiter was Eamonn and he was just brilliant. Patient and well organised with such a large group of woman. We only had a few issues but he promptly sorted them and made the whole evening run very smoothly. I would fully recommend the pub for a large group because of its ease with booking and delightful service.

Took advantage of the popular steak night deal yesterday & once again we were not disappointed ! So glad we pre booked our table, as it was busy ……whilst retaining a lovely ambience. The steak was AMAZING ….we shared a chateaubriand which was cooked exactly as requested. We had our pooch with us, therefore we dined in the snug area ……perfect for her and of course us; coz she simply loved being in her favourite pub. Next time we shall definitely try one of the special steaks on offer. Customer Service was also top notch, which in my opinion is equally as important as the delicious food. Well done QH Team

I would recommend The Queens Head in Weybridge, I have been there on more than one occasion and always had the same experience. This time was for lunch with work colleagues. Food and service was excellent.

A regular at the pub for drinks, a nice spot with good beer. On this occasion I decided to have burger. Very disappointed with the overall presentation with the burger plonked on one end of a long plate and a small “tin” of chips at the other with not garnish and I couldn’t even see the extra Gorgonzola with meat part being a bit hard - and all for £17.50! On the menu it sounds great but when you get it, over rated and expensive for what it was. On a positive note the staff are excellent as always and recover the day.

Fantastic food (especially the crab and sweetcorn starter !), great service and atmosphere - even on a Monday evening - we will be back!

Booked a table with my wife for Sunday lunch. We used to be regulars for dinner and Sunday lunch. Sadly, the experience today was very disappointing other than the staff, who were very good. We both had our minds set on a roast beef lunch. They had no roast beef left. We both ordered roast chicken. The chicken was dry, there was no greens, the roast potatoes were like mash and they ran put of gravy!!! Sadly we won't rush back which is sad because the quality of the food used to be very good. I would however reiterate the staff were lovely (and apologetic!)

We came for a late Sunday lunch and were disappointed. The roast potatoes were more mash than roast , they ran out of gravy !! Ran out of beef and the chicken was dry . However , Staff were excellent , friendly and went out of their way to help. We like this pub and they had obviously been very busy , but the lunch was poor and not up to their usual standards.

Have not visited for many years. We had a truly excellent lunch, the menu offers something for everyone, the lamb roulade was fantastic and the sea bream sauce really hit the spot. The pistachio souffle was amazing. Would certainly use the restaurant again now. Book there are not so many covers and it was busy. We parked in the Churchfield Rd car park and walked through the lane by the church. Good service, nice staff. Our guests were impressed. Total bill for two courses plus coffees including a decent bottle of wine £200.

Lovely gastro pub with a great feel inside. Very warm and it feels very local too. The food is very good. You can't fault it. Anything from game terrine with an amazing rhubarb chutney through mussels, burgers with very tasty beef to lovely puddings. Very good wines too. I liked the carrafe option:) Friendly staff and nice ambience of the place should not disappoint even a very demanding person. Well done Queen's Head and thank you for such a nice evening.

Excellent service combined with fantastic food makes for a brilliant evening. My wife and I both went for a starter and main and all four plates were wonderful. Pricey, but worth it. Well worth a visit on these cold and wet winter evenings!

Great restaurant. The food was good and the service was attentive . Sara was our waitress and was great. We had the January deal with half price mains with two courses. Our friend was visiting from the US and we always come here with him.

Really enjoyed our meal here. The menu was excellent and the food was much higher quality than other pubs in the area. Waiting staff were excellent.

This restaurant is the best in Weybridge. It offers great food, a lovely warm atmosphere and terrific service by the very attentive staff. Love !

Fantastic food, lovely staff, and so nice to find somewhere that's genuinely dog-friendly, not just dog-tolerant - The pooch in our party got just as much great service as the humans did! Service was a little slow as it was so busy - and it does get very loud when it's busy - but I'll definitely be back soon.

Was looking forward to a pub meal today however, when we arrived there was no available parking anywhere and nothing on the website or social media to let you know of their lack of parking options so we missed our reservation and went elsewhere. Outside was a bit of a mess and didn’t exactly look well cared for. A bit of warning would have solved the issue as we could have arrived earlier to find parking online prior to our visit.

Well I forget a cheese and leek pie and some chips for £14 and what I received was pretty pathetic, both for quantity and quality, the Cornish pale ale however was nice. But I’m so annoyed about the food being so bad.

Nice pub with good atmosphere and lovely staff but extremely over priced which let it down as you then expect a lot when it is priced that high. £22.50 for a bit of chicken, spoonful of mash and 2 carrots. £10 for sticky toffee pudding! Also, the beef pie was small and very watery!

The food was only okay, it was quite bland and just lacked flavour (the celeriac). The service was also quite slow. But the sticky toffee pudding was good.

We had a fantastic family meal and were very impressed with the quality of food, the price and the service! Our dogs were made very welcome and the staff were all friendly. We were running late as our walk took longer so we rang ahead and the staff member was very helpful and had actually moved the booking on when we arrived! We will return!

Having travelled some distance to meet up, our large group was very well taken care of, thanks to our excellent waiter. Lovely surroundings, good food & drink. We all had a great time.

I’d like to start by saying that this is a lovely pub, apart from the parking which is non-existent. The beer is great and I’ve eaten here and the food is fab. Today it’s all about drinks. A large Campari and tonic and a pint, poorly poured with 1” of foam on the top (about £1 worth of beer by this place’s prices). Total for two drinks £17.85! That’s more expensive than a whole bottle of Campari. Previously, as in a good while ago, I paid £10 for a large glass of Pinot Grigio here, no doubt that’s now even more expensive. I couldn’t afford to stay for a second round. It’s not surprising pubs are empty and going bust.

This pub, their food and the drinks all hit the spot. The steak & ale pie with mash was delicious as were the Toulouse sausages. A few pints were sunk so alas there was no room for dessert. This is the sort of neighbourhood pub you could easily while away an afternoon and evening in.

This was the first time myself and family have gone too the Queens for an ordinary dinner. The service, food, drinks, ambiance and price, was first class I would highly recommend the Queens for any occasion, I am already arranging a suitable date to return for dinner.

Poor quality food , dry and cold , overly reheated potatoes, a hint of cauliflower cheese If you enjoy rude service from the point of booking to the end of the meal This dog friendly pub is only welcoming if you read the terms and conditions in the bar or in the dinning room on the select dog friendly tables which are not at option or is it mentioned On the website But as I later found out it a very abrupt manner you have the Choice to take your dog home and read the terms and conditions where it mentions the dog friendly table ! Over priced , over rated I’ll be sticking to Marnies inn from now on

Last week the food was great. This week it was cold and when I complained the manager offered to replace only the veg and stated that they served their Yorkshire puddings cold. No replacement meat and had the cheek to add a gratuity. The waitress in between was very pleasant but never again.

I had to write a review to share what a lovely place this is! Great atmosphere- superb, friendly staff and the food was beautiful both to look at and to eat. It was very busy when we arrived, being a Saturday evening, but the staff were very attentive despite this. I Will definitely be going again as I still need to try the pistachio souffle for desert! ( I had the cheese soufflé starter which was scrumptious) Cant wait for my next visit!

My husband and I came for lunch here on Friday and had a perfect time. We had a reservation and were greeted with a friendly smile and were sat at a table in the main dining room. The food was very good - we shared a plate of plump excellent mussels and my husband tried the pork chop rib eye - new to both of us. He really liked it. I had a lovely pan seared fish dish. Our server, Autumn took care of us and came back to make sure everything was to our liking. The manager, also came by and we had a nice chat with him. Great staff and service - a lovely lunch.

My partner & I came out for a meal last night..We were served a small cold steak with 8 green beans. It was replaced by a warm over cooked small steak. £22. We left our wine & most of the food due to a very loud, drunk party of girls who were swearing 🤬& shouting. Bruce the manager said he wasn't responsible for the clients! What has happened to this place we use to go to. Also ladies toilets were out of order. We were told to use the disabled with was disgusting. Urine over floor & seat. It stunk.
