Really disappointed that the “baby change” and wheelchair toilet was completely inaccessible. No ability to change a baby as there was no pull down table in there. It was also filled with cardboard boxes so completely inadequate for a pram/wheelchair user. I asked the staff where I could change the baby (in case there was another area I had missed) and after being directed back to the “accessible toilet” I pointed out it was being used as a storage cupboard so she suggested I change the baby on one of the cafe tables! Completely unhygienic not to mention unpleasant for anyone having their lunch nearby…Or for the food standards agency!

We tried Miss Polly’s earlier in the year and had excellent breakfasts. Loved the attention to detail on the flavouring of the tomatoes and mushrooms and the homemade hash browns were amazing. Today was a totally different experience. The service was chaotic and amateurish. Apparently 2 new staff but why aren’t they trained?? My husbands eggs which we asked for well done came almost raw they were so runny. Not only that, there was no seasoning on the vegetables and the lovely home made hash brown replaced with a cheap frozen one. An extremely expensive basic breakfast. They were not prepared to offer a refund and poor communication meant third time lucky and half an hour later the breakfast was served with well done eggs. By this time I was on my second £4.50 single shot flat white. We actually don’t mind the prices if the food is outstanding but the food we had today just felt like a rip off. Sadly as locals we will not be eating here again. Shame because we love the venue and it’s just round the corner.

Lovely staff and a great location but the prices have been hiked obscenely - a single cappuccino is not far shy of £5 and food is charged at a premium for what is essentially basic cafe food. They rely on regulars in the week and should be more mindful of keeping local customers loyal with midweek deals perhaps. Moving prices up and lowering the menu choices & quality only works for single visit tourist spots more like the cafes in Hampton Court (bring back the fresh cooked skin on fries instead of the tasteless oddly yellow ones please!) The toilet facilities are often foul and don’t seem to have been cleaned since the cricket club bar patrons used them the night before. A shame to think that this spot may go under yet again if improvements are not made soon.

I loved the coffee, the super people working there, the mushrooms on toast. I thought the last owners were so lovely and sad they closed. They were pillars of the community. Delighted that Sam took it over and brought it to life. I like the coffee machine is on the back shelf as it makes it more open. The coffee is outstanding. I’d said the best around. Wish on cricket days, we were not pushed outside and I wish the cricket club would sort out bathrooms. Overall a lovely place to have on our river. Thank you all, especially smiling young people serving in the kitchen and out front.

Great location at one end of the East Molesey Cricket Club along the Thames Path with nice views of the river. Whilst the staff are friendly and the coffee reasonable, the problem is that the food and cakes they serve up are overpriced and of poor quality. This place has huge potential but they need to step things up quite a bit.

If I could give zero or minus stars I would. Very disappointing experience today. Firstly the food prices are extortionate and the food quality, portion sizes and overall experience in no way matches these prices. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 young children. We only had 3 toasties and my son had children's beans on toast. The toasties weren't toasties but toast with some un-melted cheese and cold ham inside. I had gluten free bread which was tiny! Each toastie was £6.95!! With a salad 'garnish' (mine was 5 small soggy leaves). I ordered 2 bowls of chips that arrived in a small bowl, cold and tasted of old oil. They took the chips away and bought out 2 new bowls of chips, hotter but still rubbish. A total rip off at £3 each a bowl! My son's beans on toast seemed the most edible. No one came to check on our satisfaction of our lunch. After 5 years being a secret customer writing reviews this would have been an instant 0 rating. According to my partner the toilet door in the men's toilets didn't lock, and they keep their cleaning equipment in there (mop, bucket, chemicals etc). The ladies toilets were so disgusting I didn't use them, I walked in and straight out again. The baby changing was so disgusting that I actually changed my baby outside on her changing mat (that's seriously saying something if it's so disgusting that I prefer to change my baby outside on the ground than in a restaurant/ café changing toilets). These are the same toilets the staff use so that's a concern. So it came to no suprise that the high chairs were also all filthy. The waitress did give one a wipe with a dirty looking, stained rag. She said "there we go" which obviously wasn't good enough so I got some spray, wet wipes and cleaned it myself. There is no table service or anyway to make the customer feel 'welcomed', the staff look miserable, we're unhelpful and didn't seem particularly bothered by complaints. Apparently this place was closed down and then reopened. I think it should have remained closed if this is the service they provide. Possibly one of the worse cafés I've been to recently

Where do I start. Firstly the prices are ridiculous. To be fair, it's by the river in East Molesey, so that is to be expected to some degree. The issue is the food quality nowhere near matches the prices. We had ham and cheese toasties which weren't really toasties. The cheese wasn't melted, it was cold, and ham was something you'd get on the cheap at Tesco. My partner had a gluten free version, which was ridiculously small. At £7 each it felt a massive rip off for what we got. They brought out bowls of chips that were cold. When I complained the waitress explained they don't fry the chips to order and they are just kept on a hotplate (which isn't good enough at £3 a bowl, when they are cold and stale tasting). She did bring out replacements, which were better, but still not great. The toilet door in the gents didn't lock, and they keep their cleaning equipment in there (mop, bucket, etc). The high chairs were all filthy, and the waitress, on request, did give one a quick wipe with a dirty cloth. My partner grabbed paper towel and spray and did it herself in the end. There is no effort to create any atmosphere inside. No music, table service, or a particularly nice looking space. It feels like they are just looking to get as much money out of the customer without bothering to give any quality or level of service. Not good enough.

Such a lovely visit to Polly’s. The food was not only delicious but well presented too. The staff were friendly and efficient. It’s a great solution to making use of the old cricket club building and although the toilets could do with updating, they were clean. The parking is a decent size too. Sitting outdoors right by the river is stunning plus there is lots of space for buggies etc. Looking forward to my next visit so I can try more of the food!

Very disappointing. Lukewarm coffee. Very small 'small' Americano that was overpriced for the size. Poached Eggs on toast that actually were almost inedible ( we had to send an order back as the eggs were barely cooked) with a scrapping of butter and very thin slices of toast. No garnish. It all felt overpriced, bad value for money, and surprising that a place feels they can get away with serving food like that and charge so much for it. We'll never go there again.

We stopped by very quickly with the family and the dog for a coffee and cake. The juice we ordered for the child never came despite repeating the order with the waitress. The pastries given to us were just about edible, my wife's pastry was stale and sent back, mine had seen better days but I ate it, my son's chocolate cupcake was rock solid. When we went to pay with the same waiter that served us, no mention of the pastries nor the missing juice. We mentioned the juice was never brought up, they only said oh ok. This is very disappointing as we had only heard superb reviews on the place and we thought we would give it a shot, but the experience was quite poor. Coffee however was excellent.

I had the good fortune to be invited to breakfast at Miss Polly's a couple of days ago by a former schoolfriend whose family have owned and run a cafe in the East End of London for a little more than a century. My ex-schoolmate drives into sunny Molesey every couple of months to meet for a bite to eat and a good chat (generally on a Saturday, because he has to look after his own cafe during the week) and he always insists on dining at Miss Polly's because he can 'create' his own breakfast there and enjoy a bit of banter with the very charismatic and efficient team of 'serveuses'. I usually order Miss Polly's Full English Breakfast (which includes spinach and black pudding and is great value for money). The sausages are delicious and always beautifully grilled and the bacon, which I understand is sourced from a local family butcher, is to die for!!! I also enjoy a good chat with the staff who all have great communication skills and really do know how to make diners feel at home. (By the way, I also had a generous slice of delicious Italian orange and polenta cake with my second cup of high quality mint tea and as I was leaving, noticed a plate of individual steak pies on the counter which looked as if they'd been crafted by hand and which I'm determined to try when I eat at Miss Polly's again. I also hope to systematically chomp my way through all the exotic-looking cakes on offer during future visits. :)

I’ve recently been twice to this lovely cafe. First time I went for breakfast and had an amazing full English which was made with local produce and all organic. Second time I went for Lunch and had a Miss Polly burger, friend had a chicken burger in a charcoal bun with homemade coleslaw.. delicious!! With the best triple cooked chips!!! So good we took some home with us lol! Husband and wife team are amazingly friendly, food tastes divine and all on my doorstep! Definitely going to try and make my way through their menu!

Miss Polly is a fabulous addition to Molesey - super friendly service and fabulous food. Went with a group of colleagues and had a fish finger butty - really tasty light bread and very generously filled! We all agreed it was excellent value for money and it will become a regular lunch venue.

We had lunch today at Miss Polly's Cafe and were very impressed. The service is friendly and attentive, with food being served promptly. The coffee is excellent. We ordered a chicken & bacon salad and a breakfast bruschetta: both dishes were very freshly prepared, with outstanding ingredients and of a good size. It is a very welcome addition to the pantheon of coffee shops in Molesey, and a significant step up from the previous incumbent in terms of quality and service. There is also a sizable children's menu, which is a must for this area, although we've not yet brought our kids in: that will happen very soon, based on this experience.

Had a lovely first visit to Miss Polly Café this week. Had a very nice, well priced lunch. Food came quickly (but not too fast) and was very nice.

My partner and I came out a little while ago for a little date to watch the rugby. I learnt when we arrived that their cocktail menu is very bare. (DON’T come, if you’re coming for cocktails - even the basics ones! also NO food being served even though the website says they do!) I made my disappointment clear to the very young looking bartender about not having any cocktails. He said he could make me an off menu ‘special’ cocktail he learnt while he was living in Africa. It was special type of customer service I had never experienced before! My partner had a very fine New Zealand Savvy B. All negatives aside, the pub is very affordable for it being in the centre of Weybridge, cozy decor and both were staff were excellent. They also have a pool table at the back!! Don’t see that too often nowadays. Recommend if you’re ever in the weybridge area and in need of some cheap booze!

Packed full of people, long queues for expensive food, and a strangely threatening phone accessory shop next to the bogs. It did the job. Bang average.

Disappointed. Walked in and it smelt funny. Tea pot filthy. Coffee bitter. Didn’t drink and walked away to Mada Deli up the road.
