Traditional atmosphere , nice neighbourhood and great customers service giving a very good experience and pleasure to visit that place again in future . Just visited for live music and bbq in garden. Music was great but food was dreadful stone cold kebabs obviously precooked and just shown the bbq. Really awful cold potatoes never usually complain but very disappointing

Great pub to catch up with friends. Excellent atmosphere for the Rugby as well. Staff consulted everyone watching the game with the TV volume which I have never seen done before, but was very considerate. Definitely go back again in the future

Have visited a few times now and used the garden area. Over Covid and the summer the garden has been developed, and to a lovely standard. lots of seating available. Staff are very pleasant and have our a visits very enjoyable.

Decided to eat out tonight at our local and was amazing I had Jerk chicken from the specials and my hubby plumped for the mixed grill which was also on the specials both dishes were so well thought out and delicious, Bev who served us was so attentive, we will definitely be back who doesn’t like a specials board 😀

Just pop in for a beer. Sunday Roast on next table look amazing and we decided to order as well. The portion was super big. Nice and crispy vegetables. Carrots were on the hard side which is my personal preference so credit to the chef for that. Place was full but we didn't wait for our dinner a long time. Very nice desert as well sticky toffee pudding 😜

Beauiful place lovley staff and amazing food

Went for a birth celebration and had Afterwards Tea. It was lovely with lots of cakes, scones and sandwiches. We had a dedicated area and the staff were very nice. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice afternoon and with Covid protocols in place. Will go back again.

We organised a locals evening at The Queens Head in Nutfield. Had a fabulous evening, the food was very nice indeed, great service and most friendly staff. Had great music 🎶 Time Duo , most people were up dancing. Thank you Tod and Luke for making our Xmas evening special 🥰 also raised £254 doing a raffle going towards motor Neurones Disease .

I just love this pub, I’ve only been a handful of times but it’s just what a pub should be! Relaxed, warm, cosy, clean, foods really good, just right! We went for Sunday roast, had a great waitress and everyone around us seemed to enjoy it too! Keep up the vibe guys 💥 see you again soon

Absolutely amazing service and food. We have been there several times and every time the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure we have had a great time. The roast also on a Sunday is one of the best have had in a long long time!!! We will definitely be back

Nice place, nothing wrong with the quality of food or drink. Service good. But the vegetarian main dishes were very small and of poor value in my opinion. More like a starter portion. Vegetarians can still have a good appetite! Non-veggie mains were visibly much larger.

Just had one of the best Sunday roasts ever, to start we both had the Thai mussels which were on the specials board and I had the beef which was amazing my partner had the chicken, which she said was cooked to perfection, the potatoes and veg were cooked just as we liked, great portion size and such value for money, service was second to none, even though they were busy would definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing Sunday roast yesterday, we both had the roast beef which was cooked to perfection, the vegetables and potatoes were delicious, the Yorkshire pudding was among the best we have ever had, the service was exceptional and will definitely return very soon. Great first visit, we always go to The Red Lion which is a sister pub, so we thought we would give this a go. Beautiful decorated Pub inside and out. Nice menu, something for everyone. Danny had Apple Cider Cod & Chips lovely large portion of cod with minted peas and tartare sauce, great chips 5*. I had Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tacos with Chipotle Mayo and extra Avocado and lovely Pomegranate pearls which was a nice touch. Well cooked, great service nice night out. Bottle Chardonnay good price unoaked which we love. We will be back💕

Lovely big and tastefully modernised old coaching inn with large, sunny beer garden. Good, friendly service. Quality Green King and guest ales served.

Having heard this pub was under new management and recently refurbished we were looking forward to meeting up with friends there. Sadly I had one of the most disappointing and tasteless Sunday Roasts I have ever been served. Plates were cold, Beef was over-cooked and looked like pieces of shoe leather,Yorkshire puddings were burnt and the veg selection was also cold. Will not be returning or recommending to friends.

We've visited a couple of times recently after hearing good things. Food is consistently excellent, in particular the Sunday Roast and the starters (arancini and camembert). The beer is excellent and the garden is great - love the individual booths! Will be back again.. soon!

Quite simply best pub in nutfield. Unlike other pubs in the village this pub has fantastic food, beer and amazing atmosphere. The landlord and staff are so welcoming and hospitable it makes for a lovely experience So so glad they are open so the villagers and everyone passing has a decent pub to go to

The roast beef sounded delicious ‘black treacle roast beef’ I would expect joint NOT out of a packet like a freezer meal. Potatoes dry and tasteless The Yorkshire pudding looked very impressive but tasted so awful couldn’t eat itI suggest the staff actually try the food they serve

In these current difficult times, some pubs have 'got it right', this one has. They have invested heavily in outbuildings, the gardens are superb and very well presented. Staff are plentiful and on the ball. This pub is a pleasure to visit. Food is not currently being served, however, I have no doubt that if it is in the future, it will be top class.Well done to the landlords and staff.

We have been to the Queens head a number of times since it changed ownership and are always greeted with a warm welcome and great service. The owners and bar staff are really friendly and efficient and there’s a lovely atmosphere about the place, so much so that this has become our new local, despite living 2 minutes walk from another pub in the village and needing to get a taxi to the Queens head. If anyone is concerned about venturing somewhere new in the current pandemic, I can reassure you that the measurements they have in place to ensure social distancing and compliance to government guidelines is excellent. There is a sanitising station as you walk in, one way system in place, masks must be worn when not seated and table service only and the table service is perfect. We have never had to wait longer than a couple of minutes for drinks, even when most of the tables have been occupied, as the team are constantly checking that their customers are okay. I highly recommend paying a visit.

Under new ownership and couldn’t recommend the new owners more highly. Very friendly. Covid compliant. They’re not serving food at the moment, but lovely atmosphere for a drink. Clean, candles, friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Visited the Queens Head on 4th March for dinner with friends. Excellent pub food, with great service and a abundant atmosphere. Plenty of choices on the menu. for all tastes.

Great Sunday roast, would really recommend this place. The roast beef and roast chicken were excellent.

Four of us went for a Sunday lunch. Nice bright decor, we were welcomed by staff and all went well with our order. We ordered drinks which came quickly, but unfortunately our food did not arrive, after asking what the problem was we were told our order had not actually gone through to the kitchen. This was concerning as we had been told the kitchen closed at 7 o'clock and it was very close to that time. However the food was delivered fairly soon afterwards, which was delicious and they were very happy to take our desert orders. We would certainly return and be happy to recommend.

I visited here on a works night out the pub itself was warm and welcoming. I'd never been here before and was really impressed. There were 13 of us, we pre-ordered our choices, we turned up and the tables were ready and nicely set up. The starters arrived swiftly, I have the Prawn and Salmon Cocktail it was delicious and fresh. The Scampi was yummy and nicely cooked. The staff were very friendly and the service was of a high standard. It was great food at a reasonable price. Would definitely visit again.

We were absolutely blown away at both the choice and quality of the food. Also serves more than well as a cosy pub with a great selection of beers. We had chicken strippers to start with, not something I would normally go near but I let boyfriend choose. Seasoned to perfection and cooked with a fabulous crunch. I then had the catch of the day which in a stroke of genius was served with curried potatoes. Overcooked broccoli, but happy to overlook that given how perfectly the fish was cooked. Boyfriend’s steak was exactly what you look for in a ribeye, enough to keep you going for the day and cooked just how he asked.I didn’t have room for another bite, but boyfriend managed sticky toffee pudding which he raved about.If you are in the area then do eat here!

We turned up at 4pm on a Sunday and they managed to squeeze in 11 adults and 5 kids. We were really surprised but best last minute decision ever. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was amazing!! We had roasts, pies, chicken and lots of drinks :-) cant fault them at all! Thank you we will definitely be back very soon!

Without doubt the best Sunday lunch we've ever had. I had the roast chicken which was exceptional, my wife had the roast beef and was equally impressed. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the young staff were extremely attentive-top notch!

We visited with friends who are regulars. It is a good locals pub with a lot of regulars who know each other well.The service is very friendly throughout from the bar staff through to the waiting staff. We booked a table and it was just as well as it was very busy indeed.The food portion sizes were good and we couldn’t think about desserts as it was filling. However why not five stars? We whilst the service was friendly we did on a couple of occasions have to remind staff of drinks orders, whilst our cod and chips were very large, the batter was fairly greasy and we asked for a medium rare steak and it was very rare indeed.Would we go back again? Yes we would and would hope that the food was as good as the friendly ambience!

Visited this establishment with good intentions with family and friends, everthing was frayed from the start, exttremly rude manager that obviously knows nothing about customer service, food was completely below standards even McDonald's could do better, bypass at all costs..

For our first venture into the new year we returned to one of our pubs,this time it was The Queens Head in Nutfield. We hadn't visited there since Feb 2016 so we couldn't really remember it. Well again we struck gold as we were not disappointed. We were very warmly greeted by Anne who took our order for drinks, and told us were we could sit with our dog.She very kindly brought our drinks to our table,and after browsing the menu took our order for lunch.When it arrived we were amazed at the sizes of them,and they were exceedingly tasty,in fact superb. We would certainly be returning to the pub later on this year.May we pass on our thanks to Anne for making our visit so nice.FromRay,Rosemary, and our dog Susie.

Had a family Christmas dinner here and the food was brilliant! We had to be rolled out because we were so well fed and couldn't even fit in tea and coffee ! Great service and friendly staff. Thanks for a great evening Beau!

Tried the pub as they use good quality local produce for their breakfast and we can take the dog in with us. What can I say, bloody lovely and we will be back. Clean bright comfortable staff really friendly good range of beers and wines not that we had any with our full English! Nice beer garden for the summer and regular live music what's not to like?

We hadn't been since the pub changed management in August. It was lovemy. Good food, generous portions and attentive service all at a reasonable price. Posh scampi was great and the skinny fries delicious. We'll be back!
