Not been her for 15+ years but what a great place 👌 Warming reception from bar staff. Ended up coming back at the end of the night after visiting several other bars as we thought this was the best in the area. Well worth a trip if ur in the area 👍🍺🍾

Had lunch at The Piper Art Bar today. I had the Traditional Mince with vegetables and Mash. It was absolutely the best meal I have had while being in England for the last month. For a lot of people it would be a bit plain. For me it was perfect. Great British Food. Can't recommend this bar high enough. Service was great as well.

Delicious food. We ate a burger here, and the portion was enough and the foodwas so tasty, the atmosphere was good, but the staff was a little uninterested in us, even if it wasn't crowded. The Qr code didn't work at the table to order food, no waiter came to ask us about the order even after 10 minutes, so we went to the bar, we paid then, but for this fact, they didn't even get a tip. Because I don't judge a book by its cover, I will recommend this place because of the good taste of food...

Enjoyable evening at The Piper, a stunning atmosphere with Karen hosting elegantly amongst art and a wonderful wiskey and gin selection. Food looked magnificent, but was unable to ‘tuck in’ as the kitchen had closed. The Piper is a must visit!

Great music, Peter made us feel really welcome and had special attention for our kids which made them very happy during lunch. Our dog was very happy relaxing inside. Yummy food, definitely recommend.

Second time visiting and the food and service was great as usual. Black and blue burger is our favourite and the fish and chips. Strongly recommended for great pub food and service.

We are a group of fairly regular visitors to the Piper. On one of our recent visits obe of our group ordered a pint of Lager costing a steep price of £6 (six Pounds). He took a couple of sips of his lager and said that the beer was off. I must admit It did smell awful. We told this to the Bar Staff but there was absolutely no mention or intention of him getting a replacement drink. Rather disgusting if you ask me. After some consideration we decided to leave. One thing is certain, you won’t see us returning in a hurry to be treated by bar staff who treat their customers like that and serving Lager that is off! Just to let you know that later when we got home he spent the rest of the evening on the toilet thanks to an off pint from the Piper.

Always a friendly atmosphere whenever we come in. A group of us travel to Windsor for work quite regularly and we always make a point of stopping by The Piper. Great range of beers and spirits and a good Scottish themed menu. Would recommend

Took my sister for a hospital appointment, after we walked up peascod Street to find a place to eat, came across this lovely looking pub with gorgeous hanging baskets out the front, The barman Jay was very welcoming and friendly, inside was very clean and tidy, i chose The ploughman's which was very tasty and hearty in size, how a ploughman's should be! my sister had the scampi who commented how succulent the fish was, service from Jay was quick, good value and a great array of drinks too, highly recommend, we throughly enjoyed our meal, when need arises we will be back

Everything was alright besides the blonde waitress/bartender. We didn’t catch her name but she was very rude and didn’t have much of a personality.

Weekday so quite empty. They didn't have two whiskeys I wanted to try.

A nice pub with a good selection of beers on tap and amazing food. There are about three main vegan options but I was pleasantly surprised to see the special of the day was a vegan item.

Watch when ordering food, you might end up with something different. Then it'll be your fault. People don't mind waiting as long as it's rectified. Improve the attitude a bit.

Came in for lunch on a recommendation from another dog friendly pub close by not doing food and was really glad I did. Karen was super friendly and welcoming, treated my dog like a princess, the food was excellent value and quality, the artwork was incredible. Will totally come back.x

Always come to the Piper when in Windsor, it's a welcoming, traditional pub with a great atmosphere, good food and a solid selection of drinks. Karen, the manager, is incredibly attentive to customers and you can clearly see that the regulars appreciate her warmth and great sense of humour. Definitely recommend!

The Piper Art Bar, Scottish by name and Scottish by tradition.  Located in the heart of bustling Windsor town centre, there is also a good range of Scotch whiskies on offer as well as food with a Scottish theme. Unusually for a pub, it displays and sells good quality original artwork. It’s a dog and kids friendly with very positive atmosphere. You have to make a food order and drinks at the bar. We got a 20% discount from their other pub (Quinn’s), as there they are serving drinks only.

This used to be one of our most favourite pubs in Windsor. Being locals, we visited regularly. It had been a few months since we last visited and we walked into 3 people sitting in the pub on a Saturday night and the music blasting at maximum volume. We had only popped in for a quick drink and my husband out of curiosity asked about a whisky that was on display and was told it was a particular price a shot, and then responded "oh okay, can we please get half a pint of larger". This was his original order. We had guests from out of town this day and our guest asked out of curiosity about another whisky and quickly the lady behind the bar told him he couldn't afford to drink that and should stick to half a pint of larger. Firstly, we used to go in this pub, and due to it's large whisky selection spend a good amount of time enquiring and learning about the whisky collection, the staff USED TO be really informative and discuss the whisky's with us. Secondly, how does the bar staff know what we can or cannot afford. On this night my husband wanted a larger as he wasn't drinking as much as usual due to a busy day the next day and whether or not his decision for a larger was financial he should not be treated like that. Due to this me and another of our guests chose not to stay and have a drink and leave. Absolutely appalled and I hope the management reads this and consider their staff choice and training.

We went to the bar and asked if we wanted food and drink. We said where we wanted to sit and were told by the barman. That he would be over to clean our table and bring a menu. He then proceeded to serve 2 lots of people with drinks and give 2 tables their bills. It was not particularly busy. We waited 15 minutes and left. Very disappointing.

We came across this place after visiting Windsor Castle and what a treat! The best fish and chips we’ve had since arriving in London. The chicken ham leek pie was so rich and delicious. Great atmosphere and service.

Popped in today for lunch, and probably met the friendliest bar staff I have ever met. Food was very nice, and the staff were more than happy to arrange for our orders to have additions and changes from what was advertised. The thing that blew me away, there was a young chap waiting the tables in the pub, i left a tip when I paid the bill, he came over, shook my hand and said thank you….. WOW….. absolutely amazing service from the 2 ladies and the young man…. Thank you…

Went out for a family meal over the weekend. Initially, the pub seemed decent, but upon closer inspection, it wasn’t as clean as expected. Given its pub setting, my expectations weren’t high. However, the food was a huge disappointment. Opted for the Sunday roast, and it turned out to be the worst I’ve ever had. The beef seemed like a cheap cut, likely reheated, and the roast potatoes lacked the desired crunch, suggesting they were also reheated.. Despite the menu promising roasted parsnips, they were absent, replaced by mixed vegetables that resembled the frozen variety you find in supermarkets which was overly boiled and lacked any seasoning (ie SALT). The Yorkshire pudding was overly oily and tasted solely of oil. Our waitress was unable to provide any helpful information about the dishes, especially regarding allergens, which was concerning. Instead of offering to check with the kitchen, she simply stated ‘she didn’t know’. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this pub for a meal. Save your money and dine elsewhere for a better experience.

We went to The Piper after we had been to a nearby restaurant, we meet Michelle the landlady and her staff, Michelle is such great company, very welcoming and funny, the music that was on was brilliant, just a brilliant evening and look forward to seeing Michelle and her great staff again. Great place for an evening drink

The best pub in and around Windsor! I live in Egham, and am working quite a lot, so don't get much of a chance to visit Windsor as much as I would like to. However, whenever I am in Windsor, I like to visit The Piper. I've only been in for food twice now, I've usually just gone in for a couple of drinks. My friend and I were going through their extensive selection of scotch one time before, and it's just fabulous! As I say, I've only been for food there twice, and cannot complain at all ! It's really quite lovely. I had the chicken, ham, and leek pie today. It was DEVINE. Thank you to Karen, Sarah, Jay (and all staff) for their service, and for making me so welcome on the occasions I have been. I will be back, when I can!

10/10 All Round Were From Margate, Kent And Was In Windsor So Just Googled Dog Friendly Restaurants Near By And Got Very Lucky The Staff Were Great Super Dog Friendly And Food Was Amazing With Great Portions Too :) And When The Bill Came In I Couldn't Believe It Great Value As Well Would 100% Recommend Thanks Guys :) Picture Attached :) Tommy Loved It

Thought we’d call in for a drink, looked lovely from the outside, seemed to have a bit of ambience going on. Walked in for drinks to be sat at the bar and ignored for about 20minutes while everyone else got served around us. Not acknowledged, or a be with you in a moment, nothing. Bad staffs mates rock up to the bar & were prioritised just like everyone else around us. I asked if I was invisible, and they look at me like I’ve just magically appeared out of thin air and proceeded to advise me they ‘had a private party on.’ That’s fine, if the bar is only open to a private party that would be understandable, but it wasn’t, it’s was open to the public. Not going to be treated like a second rate citizen and ignored all night. So we left. I’ll take my money elsewhere thanks!

The servers and bartenders are super friendly and nice and the snacks and foods were great. Caitlyn was the best server, ever. Will definitely come again!

Semi tourist trap. However it has a great selection of whiskeys from around the world. Ok selection of beers and pricing. The food menu has some Scottish influence however I did not eat so cannot comment on the food

This place was great! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place has a great look and the customer's were a mix of all ages. Children are welcome also whilst food is being served I believe. I would highly recommend The Piper.

This is a great spot to meet up with friends for a few drinks and/or a meal. The food was delicious and the Pornstar Martini’s are the best! Karen the manager is so welcoming and her sense of humour had us laughing all evening. The staff are so friendly and chatty too. Great background music too. Highly recommend.

The perfect venue to have a birthday celebration together with family & friends, Living in Australia returned to Windsor after 5 years for a holiday. Gillingham and all the staff were so accomadating. Highly recommend for Drinks & Food.

Great atmosphere, lovely food, comfort food, loved the chicken & leek pie. Friendly staff, very welcoming great chat and laugh with the manager Karen, she had us in stitches.... you and your staff are doing a grand job...we will be back again soon.

Have been to this place a few times. Most recently Nov 23. The staff are always good, the food nice and the building just work well. The art on the wall is an additional bonus. My favourite stopping point in Windsor

The pub itself is lovely however if you are booking the function space just be prepared for below par service. From the get go Gillian (presumably the landlady) was rather brash and unfriendly, I felt from my initial inquiry I was inconveniencing her. This could all be overlooked as the space is lovely and we had a great night, however 3 days after the event Gillian emailed me in which she directly accused myself of stealing a resident cardboard cut of out of King Charles, she advised me she had CCTV footage and demanded I return it. This ‘theft’ actually occurred the day after our event in which I assured her I did not return to the premises to steal a 6ft cardboard cutout…I encouraged her to send through the apparent CCTV footage to confirm, however this was all swiftly dropped and we have not heard anything further on the matter. Something myself and my party guests have found rather laughable, however this experience has turned off a large portion of Windsor locals using this space in the future.

One of our first British pub feeds. Pretty quiet when we went just after QEII funeral but the food was a great pub feed. We felt bad leaving some behind there was just too much of it. Not far from the castle.

My Dad picked this restaurant for us to go to for lunch. It was fantastic. We have mum and dad in wheelchairs and it was so easy to get in. Loads of room to maneuver. Jay was welcoming and so lovely. Right on top of things. Food was delicious!!! Fish and chips were one of the best we have had piping hot !! So good in fact we are taking the train from Waterloo tomorrow just to have lunch and see Jay!! Highly recommend.

We received a friendly greeting but it went down hill from there. We ordered and paid for our Sunday lunch at the bar at about 1pm, as directed. We then waited for about 40 minutes for our two roast beef dinners to arrive. My husband went to check what was happening and was told there was, "a problem with the till." There was no apology or check made with the kitchen. When we had waited for nearly an hour he checked again and we finally received an apology and our food arrived 5 minutes later. The roast beef tasted pre-cooked and re-heated and the Yorkshire puddings were Aunt Bessie's (or similar) although we did see proper ones....just not on our plates. The roast potatoes were good - the one redeeming feature. We were not asked how our meal was and noone returned to our table at all. We will not return and definitely would not recommend.

Food is amazing and staff were out of this world, especially Hayley who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and even took the time to make sure we had the best lunch even though she was clearly rushed off her feet. The art work is a must see too. We will definitely be returning on our next trip.

We were looking for a place for dinner on a Monday afternoon following a day at Windsor Castle. The place was not busy at the time so easy to get a table and it was accessible to a wheelchair. The staff were friendly, the Fish & Chips was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Dopo la visita allo splendido castello ed alla graziosa cittadina, ci siamo imbattuti in questo pub che ci ha colpito da subito per il suo aspetto particolare. Benché ci fossero tavoli fuori e la giornata permettesse stare all'esterno, abbiamo preferito accomodarci dentro nelle loro comodissime poltrone; lì una simpatica signora ci ha prima fatto assaggiare varie tipologie di birre (ne hanno parecchie, ma soprattutto un paio di IPA eccellenti...), poi ci ha portato alcuni piatti locali davvero ben preparati, ovviamente accompagnati dalla loro ottima birra. Atmosfera tranquilla e rilassante, con bella musica di sottofondo. Andateci, non vi deluderà!

Nettes Lokal mit freundlicher Bedienung. Bestellung Speisen und Getränke an der Bar, kein Tischservice. Essen und Gin Tonic war gut. Der Chickensalat mit Pasta waren sehr gut.

This place is slightly pricey for it's proximity to the castle. However, it is a very good pub! It's clean, the seats are comfortable and during the winter, it's super cozy! They have both in and outdoor seating which is great! The place is really beautiful! People who go here in the regular are kind and the atmosphere is in such a way that you might just make a new friend. Just because someone decided to talk to you! There are plenty of seats available and if you want to eat, the food is really affordable! Not to mention tasty!

Our first visit for a while,good food, friendly service ,and a good choice of beers and ciders .A couple of downers are the very limited menu to choose from,and the music is very loud considering the inside of the pub only had 6 people in,the rest were in the garden.But good food good service,and we will return 🙂

We had a 2 night break in beautiful Windsor taking in all of the historic attractions castle and many others we were lucky enough to visit the piper art bar hoping to eat but they were so busy with food and could not fit us in however we decided to stay for drinks and that was the best decision we had made all weekend as the staff were fantastic there hospitality was amazing and friendship second to none , as we sat enjoying our drinks one of the staff came with a plate of chips and a apology for not b able to accommodate us for a meal ( very welcome as we were hungry ) there friendship continued during the rest of the night giving us advise on Windsor and places to stay etc and have invited us back to enjoy Burns night celebration the three ladies are a wonderful asset to the Piper Karen (manager) Kerri and Sharon thank you all for a great night and wonderful hospitality Bill and Margaret

Ruby is the rudest waitress / bar staff I have ever come across in my life. Treated us absolutely disgustingly over Christmas and looks like it isn't the first time she's done this. I hope she's gone as she is vile!!

This lovely pub has all you need. The interior decor is great, art work on every wall. It’s clean with a nice atmosphere. The bar staff are very friendly. The food is excellent typical pub grub with a bit extra, Haggis I haven’t tried it but it looks nice. We were served by Marcus nothing was to much trouble. This dog friendly pub in the heart of Windsor is a great place for visitors and locals alike.
