I went to the table to table in ashford kent on my birthday with my wife on 27/08/2024. The food was very good and delivered to the table quickly. The waitress was called shannon. The service was excellent she even sang happy birthday to me and gave me a surprise cake with a candle in it. I was very impressed. When we go again I hope she is the waitress for our table If I was to give marks out of 10 it would be the maximum 10.

Three of us just went for a late lunch and Alfie served us. Not only was he an amazing host but we even left with music recommendations and enjoyed those on the way home after the delicious food. The other staff member was really nice too. Highly recommend.

Thankyou to Tracey and her team for making my sons birthday extra special. I made a booking for Sunday lunch and rang up to ask if I could bring a cake as a surprise for my sons 8th Birthday. Tracey told me of course just hand it over to us and tell us when you want it brought out. When we got there Tracey had put balloons on our table and a birthday banner chocolates a card and a badge. My son was absolutely over the moon !! We was all delighted and made him feel sooo special. We couldn’t thank them enough just soooo sweet.

Friendly staff, but as they said themselves they were understaffed. The drinks were fine (though the wine was pretty average) but the food was very poor. The nachos were tasteless with a strange cheese style product on them and no guacamole. The haddock was overdone and yet still sloppy inside, and the chips that came with the burger (which was passable) were cold. The server said that they had a new chef on that night - hope he/she learns quickly, or moves on…

A visit to this restaurant is very much as expected. The food selection was plentiful. We had the continental breakfast and were very satisfied. Staff very friendly

We were on a meal deal with premier inn.We had dinner and breakfast for two days .The dinners were OK but the breakfasts were not up to standard .Fruit was not to an acceptable standard and the cooked was not very hot .The interior needs completely revamping it has threadbare furniture and is in serious need of an upgrade .Not the best place we have eaten at staying with premier inn.Not a good experience

Popped in for breakfast without a reservation on Sunday 21st April. They we’re busy but we were greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Tracy is always very accommodating and showed us straight to a table she knows we like. Good choice of food and beverages to see us on our way to a busy day ahead

When ever I am in the area I always stay at this premier inn where this restaurant is located as it is comfortable and big with lots of space. My request for a quiet corner was granted and in fact the staff remembered us from my last visit last year so we must have made an impression ! I travel with my two sons who have autism and can be a little unpredictable so we prefer to avoid crowds so not to annoy anyone else. Food was what you expect with fast service. Great for families

Lovely lunch with fantastic staff. Restaurant was understaffed due to illness but the staff remained in brilliant spirits and did a brilliant job. Food was delicious and hot and so reasonably priced.

A buffet breakfast which was hot. Plenty to offer. If you don’t eat meat. Plenty to offer if you do. The selection of the continental breakfast was so good. Cereals, pastries, pancakes, crumpets. It was all there. The only thing that’s not so good is the juice is put on the side so it’s warm. Maybe needs to be on ice.

Lunch was perfect as always. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful as both my self and uncle are disabled. Highly recommend the the fish and chips 🍟 👌. Great value for money

Really enjoyed our dinner. The staff were fabulous, friendly yet professional and polite. Our meals were served altogether and all our party throughly enjoyed what they were served.

Absolutely wonderful evening for my son’s birthday. There was 17 of us and the staff had done a lovely private set up for us and surprised my son with a birthday card and badge. Can’t thank them enough. Food was lovely and service excellent, highly recommend.

We visit this restaurant a lot as the staff cannot be more helpful and the food is lovely. My son is a VERY fussy eater and Sandra (general manager) and Matthew (duty manager) couldn’t have been more accommodating getting a macaroni cheese cooked by the chef which wasn’t on the menu just so my little one would eat! This isn’t the first time Sandra has stepped in and saved the day and I’m sure it won’t be the last but if you have kids who are fussy or have food issues of any sort this is the place to go.

Decided to grab dinner here before going to the local panto. Isobel the waitress was fantastic from start to finish. Very attentive to allergies and adapting meals to suit the vegan requirements in our party. Some of the best service she has received recently. Swiftly ordered our mains and they arrived in good time whilst we chatted over drinks. We also had time for a quick dessert before leaving. Mentioned the waitress and the other staff who had advised to the manager as it really was reassuring and made the evening even more enjoyable.

Food was great although it took a VERY long time to come. Certain items were overpriced for example we ordered a side of pigs in blankets with one of the mains and I think it was about £5 for three little cocktail sausage sized pigs in blankets.

Went to the the French connection for Christmas dinner with my family was shown to table shortly after arrival, it all looked very festive food was amazing staff were lovely and polite. Highly recommended

Had a fantastic dining experience tonight (18/12). We had 3 courses from various menus (festive, normal, kids). Nothing was a problem, all requests were met. I personally had the beef yorkie starter, Festive steak and cheesecake for dessert. It was all well presented and cooked to perfection. Kerry-Ann was an amazing server. Very attentive with our 6YO son and a very warm and welcoming person. Sandra the host (manager) was warm and welcoming and checked in to make sure we were okay. Thanks for a fantastic evening. Definitely recommend a visit.

We booked ahead several weeks before and everyone was asked to choose a starter, main course and sweet from the Menu supplied by the restaurant. When the main course was served some of the choices we had selected were not available but we were not told so and alternative dishes forced on us, ( as if we had forgotten what we had ordered), or they would charge extra. The vegetables were either undercooked (sprouts) or overcooked and dried up and very unappetising. It was a Christmas lunch and when those who had selected traditional Christmas pudding with bandy sauce were served their sweet they were told that there was no bandy sauce but custard or cream were the alternatives, There were probably two dozen of us but only one person to serve and clear away. We had chosen this venue as everyone had agreed that the previous year the meal had been excellent in every way. I am sorry to report that this is no longer the case.

Always had good service while dining here on numerous times. The staff are always attentive and the food always comes out hot and wethin a timely manner.

The Manager called Sean had no customer respect, as my partner has a visual condition (disability) and accused her of being drunk and refused to serve her, due to an eye condition. there was no inappropriate behaviour by my partner. my partner explained the condition, and there was no empathy from him. An hour before there was a drunken couple In the pub and restaurant area and was allowed to stay, even after being sick in the toilets and verbally abusing patrons of the reaurant. His behaviour should have been more professional and understanding, instead of giggling and smiling to his fellow colleagues. My partner is emotionally disturbed by his behaviour, and will not be visiting table table again

Karen our waitress was lovely. She was helpful, patient (we had our 2 year old with us) and very kind. Our food was good. Will come back again soon

Fabulous service. All staff very friendly and went over and above what was required to make my stay at premier inn a happy one.
