Visited with friends. Nice interior, good selection of drinks, live music, friendly staff. We were there on "burger night" so got a good price for a nice burger and a beer. Recommended.

A lovely evening in this dog friendly pub. Attentive Bar staff and a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Bar staff member JP went above and beyond to ensure my evening was perfect. I will definitely be back again soon.

A lovely warm welcoming pub - just as they should be! Popped in for a quick bite on the way back to London around 2.15pm - the pub was heaving. They had a large group booking for lunch who were Just leaving, so I turned up at the right time! It's the little details - from the friendly and very genuine welcome, to making it easy to order and just being hospitable! Being remembered by name even though I've only been in a couple of times before - is extra special and is golden. Bringing a bowl a water for Ted (and remembering his name too) was an extra special touch. I had the lunch deal which was a baguette, lovely fresh bread with chicken, bacon, avocado & fries on the side with a Guinness 0.0 for £13 which I think is a really good deal. Food was fresh and fast and service as I say was genuine, hospitable and memorable. Always recommend. Keep doing what you are doing 🙌🍻❤️

We came as a group of 6 on Mothers Day after a mixup in booking elsewhere and the team were able to organise a table at short notice. Really lovely staff and the Roast was awesome. Thank you

Been here many times and food always great which is why we travel so far to enjoy good quality menu. Today the food was awful, can’t believe chef allowed it out of kitchen. It was meant to be a special occasion, joint Mother’s Day and birthday and so upset that mum had such a bad experience. Fish full of bones, batter so soggy and almost raw, chips uncooked and so anaemic looking and peas solid and stone cold. The presentation was shocking looked like it was just thrown on plate with no care. It wasn’t that busy but would have waited for it to be cooked properly. The staff were lovely and offered us a free pudding but we should have been given replacement or refund. I didn’t want to make a fuss as mum was so upset already. We don’t get out often and meant to be celebration and never written negative review before but after 2 hour round trip and unable to eat any of it it’s really disappointing.

Happened to have someone from Anderton's recommend this pub for some food (thanks Sam!). It was a lovely sunny day so we sat out the back in the garden which was a complete suntrap. We had some of their lunch snacks - chorizo, arancini and oh lord the parmesan chips! The food was gorgeous, the arancini were cooked to perfection - just the right amount of gooeiness. Great service. And don't forget those parmesan chips! Cracking little lunch.

Wow ! What a fabulous Sunday lunch we had, perfectly cooked roast beef, with all the trimmings. First class service and friendly atmosphere…. Highly recommend!

This used to be our beloved local but since a change in management it has become much more average and banal with sports on tv everywhere and fewer interesting menu options. Long gone are the days of the katsu chicken thigh burger, and the chill away from town noise is now outdoors only.

Had a staff party here a couple weeks ago and couldn’t have asked for better service. The team was so friendly and the food was amazing. Shout out to Hannah and Luke who took great care of us!

It was a fantastic atmosphere with delicious food and beautifully presented. We will be back.

One of our two locals. Incredible burgers (best in Guildford overall) and amazing Sunday roasts so you should book. Always great choice of ales and beers along with wines and spirits. Staff are friendly and helpful even when busy.

Great explanations, turned out to be disappointing. No local parking, Waitrose carpark 7-10 minutes walk away. Once I had ordered my drink I waited an unacceptable amount of time. Another staff member came over and said if I had my drink yet, no I had not. My drink arrived a short while later. The sea bass was good the steak and ale pie you needed a jackhammer to consume. Great presentation slow service, but in fairness they were busy. No logic to who was served first one table had two visits from staff while I needed to attract attention. The location of my table probably had something to do with that. Seated by the window close to the entrance door. The contents of the pie was good unfortunately the contents only occupied a third of the rock hard pastry case. The mashed potato was good as was the green vegetables just cooked and crisp although cold fortunately there was gravy to warm up the vegetables and lubricant the rock hard pastry. The desert was good, a damson crumble similar to the crumble my grandmother used to make.

Excellent customer service, great food options. Always a pleasant visit. Dog friendly, family friendly and close to town for easy access.

I have been to the Drummond before for a Sunday Roast which has always been great. Unfortunately this Sunday the food was disappointing. The chicken was dry and hard, possibly kept under a heater too long and generally, the food was lukewarm. They were obviously very busy and understaffed which was reflected in our experience. We had already waited for our food so didn't send it back. But all left disappointed. Hopefully just a one off.

I came here with family & even though we were an hour early it was no problem for the bar staff who quickly showed us to our seats. The food was amazing. I had the steak & pale ale pie with buttery mash, leeks & red wine sauce & it tasted amazing (I would highly recommend it) Hope to visit again soon.

I went to visit my friend at the Drummond and we shared a camembert and nachos! The starters were delicious and there was plenty of it too! The atmosphere was amazing with beautiful Christmas decorations all around the pub. Staff was very polite and welcoming. I would recommend this pub to anyone!

Had the pan fried sea bass and the fish and chips. Both were very tasty. The chef made the lemon sauce for the sea bass to perfection. Totally tasty. Highly recommend.

Drummond is more or less my local. It's usually very good - the sausage and mash they do never dissapoints. Service is usually decent, and the guest ale selection is a nice change from the usual beers most pubs have. I have had meals round lunchtime that have not been of the usual quality over the years, and the price tag is high for food and drinks here, therefore I cannot give 5 stars. Never had an issue with food in the evening service.

Had our team Xmas lunch for 20 people. There were a few problems our end with people wanting to come and also dropping out at the last minute but the team at the Drummond were fine with the changes. The chefs pulled out the stops and all the courses were well presented, hot and delicious. Chocolate torte was a standout. Service was great and we were made to feel welcome. My thanks to the whole team there.

My daughter and her friend both paid £16 each for a roast dinner on the app, but were told there were no roasts dinners and never received a refund. They went in to the pub twice to complain and get there and the Manager dismissed them. Disgusting.

I was visiting the music shop next door and I dropped in for a bite. Friendly service, good food and a nice fresh pint. Had the chicken schnitzel which was excellent, price was not exactly cheap but this is not a Wetherspoons.

Good beer selection, friendly service, not had the food but it looks nice

Lovely food, good selection of drinks and staff are friendly Food is really tasty and seating available both inside and outside (some outside seating is covered so doesn't matter if raining) Can easily set up a tab if you're there for a while. Update November 2023- went for burger night on Wednesday and was not disappointed. Deal includes a soft drink but I upgraded for £1 to have an alcoholic pint instead. Good weekday lunch deals for sandwich, chips and drink. Update November 2024- Mulled wine is delicious! 🍷

Had an amazing time at the Drummond this evening. The food was fantastic and the bar staff were great. The highlight of the night was the quiz going on. The MC Demi (covering for the usual Luke who is also great) was fantastic and was a brilliant host. Would highly recommend coming along… even if I didn’t win the quiz :)

Great pub the lighting can be a little low but the food is great. Try the chicken schnitzel :) They even have gluten free beer.
