I went on Sunday for a roast and I loved it. It was like a you would cook at home!! 💥 and you can watch the sport and have a nice drink. Lovely staff and all very reasonable.. it’s nice to have a honest meal in a pub without being ripped off.. something you don’t get much in Surrey. Nice work!

Great little dog friendly local pub with very helpful staff and a wonderful new landlady that will go out of their way to make your visit one to remember. Great choice of drinks and Excellent food at a very reasonable price. I thoroughly enjoyed the open Mike night and will return.

Went last night with family to the karaoke night - all I can say is that you need to make sure you’re prepared for the stares and racist comments if you’re not white!!

Working round the corner it was a really hot day we went here after work for a quick drink ,very nice place with a lovely open fire which must be great in the winter,would highly recommend this pub

Food is now available again at the saddlers. OK it's a limited menu for now but we had scampi and chips and a gourmet burger. It was all nicely presented, the staff were all very courteous with great service. The price was a nice pleasent surprise too. Recommended.

We walked in a very friendly and warm welcome. The food was very tasty and well presented. Shortly after we had the meals, the chef came out of the kitchen to make sure that we were satisfied, quite unusual for a country pub. This is definitely the place to come for a warm, friendly meal at a reasonable price. 😋

I've been to the saddlers a couple of times now with friends and my partner. The locals are always so welcoming and Tom the manager is so friendly and also welcoming, a new local pub for me :)

Lovely place to stop for lunch, we had a full roast and a roast in a Yorkshire pud, both great.

Wanted to leave a review as we were passing by and chose this pub based on good reviews. The staff seemed nice but unfortunately the food was awful. Toilet’s pretty awful too. 12.50 got me scampi and chips but literally 6 scampi! Soggy fries, school dinner veg and we also got a burger which was the worst burger I’ve ever tasted. Sorry guys these are not difficult things to get right.

Thought as just changed hands would try food out, but won't rush back, anything fried was over cooked, apart from chips, all soggy. The lasagne , well, more white sauce than meat, and was the worst ever had! Inside it was clean and service friendly. Shame outside hasn't been cleaned up, as smokers seem to over run this area, and stinks when walking in to the pub, such a shame

went for a roast on sunday, food was amazing! all staff were lovely and very welcoming , definitely worth a visit . i will be going here again!

This was our first visit to The Saddlers Arms. We had a Sunday lunch which was fabulous. Lovely friendly staff, great atmosphere and really lovely food. We understand it’s recently under new management and it definitely worth a visit!

Had visited this pub many times over the years and it was always a little undiscovered gem, how things change. No food available on the day I stopped by. All the staff seem to have left, When I asked questions on when food was available I was asked to leave by a large fellow seated at the bar. Very strange. Luckily for me, other local pubs were more accommodating.

Was out and abt thought, let's go for lunch and this place was nearby, stopped, went in, it was empty, not doing food, so ended up going elsewhere. No wonder empty. Second time been there and no good, won't bother again!

Spent New Years Eve here. The band was fantastic! Really made the evening......as the buffet was disappointing. It was more like a plate of left-over Christmas nibbles on each table, not really a buffet. The manager was quite off-hand and not very friendly. Luckily the atmosphere and the music made up for the negatives.

Wanted to take Mother 93 and grown up daughter to Sunday lunch while visiting the area of my growing up. Hadn't been there since it reopened, but had been there for meals prior to closing. My local as a youth. Arrived to be given a table in the entrance doorway, draughty and inconvenient with the pub being busy. Initially our request for a more suitable table fell on deaf ears, but my daughter is far more pushy than I am and eventually plans were changed and we were given a much more suitable table. All places have the occasional hiccup and it's the solving of them that matters. This one did. From that point onwards, only real praise. The beer was superb and obviously well kept. The Sunday roasts were both excellent and generous, the potatoes and yorkshires were home made and cooked just as well as you could produce at home. Super food and drink, but probably won't pick a World Cup day next time. I have to say that I was probably one of the only customers that day who could remember it before renovation and back to the early sixties.

We've just enjoyed one of those perfect evenings, when the whole pub rocked away a happy evening with guitarist singer, Robbie Lee. First Thursday of the month and he'll be there. Get down and have some fun.

Despite a nice but limited menu this mid week lunch for 11 was a bit of a disaster. We were 3 more than booked but the restaurant was not at all busy and waiting times of between 60 up to 90 minutes unacceptable. Pies were burnt as well but rich gravy was tasty although carrot uncooked and mashed potato more of a crumble than a creamy mash. Way of working and staffing levels must be reviewed or custom will be soon lost. Sorry! Excellent pint of beer though

Plenty of character and friendly. Good for drinks and atmosphere but quite tired furnishings etc. Not great for kids.

Music in the Marsh was fantastic, a great mix of different bands and well organised. Fabulous fun atmosphere. Had a fab afternoon.

Very welcoming friendly village pub.

Not bad, clearly very understaffed so felt for the wonderful bartender who was doing everything she could to make sure things ran smoothly. The pizza base was way too floury and was like chewing through powder at times but overall not a bad experience.

Went to a private party there today. Considering Carol, (landlady), was on her own in the kitchen she did a fantastic job. The food was really good, and the staff are lovely & helpful. Would definitely recommend this pub for good food & atmosphere 🙂 I only wish I could remember Carol from school 🤣

Another fab pizza in this local, friendly pub. Impressed with the number of locals who pooped in to meet friends for a drink and join in the quiz - not just about the food!

Good and friendly service and atmosphere

I Live about 5 mins walk away and for the last couple years this pub has had some serious issues, with it being clientele based, rude staff and having no variation of beers. Until a couple month ago during lockdown where they’ve had new management. This pub has some serious potential. Being someone who works in a pub like this that’s known for its real ales, this place would really benefit from trying to sell there’s more but also look after them better as well. The ale is warm and taste like nettles, this could be because their not selling enough of it or it’s not being stored correctly! To me this pub could substantially well as it is a really nice pub outdoors and in, it could do with quieting down the music and playing something not so heavy. I want to make this my local every weekend instead of having to drive down the road to the Onslow arms or jovial sailor.

Carol has recently taken over the Saddlers Arms and has given the pub a lot of love. The pub has been given a refresh and there are plans for further improvements. Carol organised and hosted my birthday BBQ which was a great success. A great venue with a good selection of drinks, having Passion Fruit Martini and Espresso Martini on tap is amazing as you get the cocktail without the wait! The pub is in a good location and has a huge garden. Would highly recommend for an event or even just a quick pint! :)

The three girls on the bar were amazing and went above and beyond to cater for our needs however I cannot say the same for Carol. The manager was unacceptably rude to us and for that reason I will not be returning to the pub again. She not only called us stupid but spoke to us in a patronising manner that is completely unacceptable.

Nice pub, under new management, went for music which they have a few times per month. We ate there we were told before it would be a limited menu in fact two choices so we had one of each.chilli and rice ok, mixed veg and halloumi cheese not good veg hardly cooked and cheese well tasteless. Very busy and staff coped well. Would be go back but not to eat

Improvement needed under new management. The ? Owner was particularly rude and needs to work on his social skills. The 2 ladies were friendly but seemed somewhat overwhelmed, catering for a relatively small afternoon crowd that I feel could easily be run by 1 person if food services excluded.

Loved it here today! Music in the garden. Amazing bar staff. Friendly place. We found as we were driving through. And had a lovely afternoon in the sun!

Nice pub, beer is kept well but the food is not great. Worst bacon sandwich I've had anywhere. Update: New managment have only been in a short while but they seem to have kept the atmosphere, the burger was excellent, certainly at the better end of pub burgers, and the beer is still good. Would have been sad to see my favourite pub go down the tubes.

The Sadlers is under new management and needs a few tweaks. Although the fish and chips were fine, there was a lack of refinement and interest in the food offering on the menu, and the plate. The service was slow - almost 20 mins to remove finished plates. If the food is not going to be good then the atmosphere needs to be warmer and more welcoming. Although it was not busy, we felt unwelcome. Come on, Sadlers, you can do better than this.

I visited the restaurant this evening for the first time since it’s reopened and under new management. Since it’s changed hands, I found the service very slow , unenthusiastic staff , ok food, if asked would I recommend to a friend I would not recommend as there are many other options in the area which have better food and most importantly service.

All good, prompt efficient service, good food and good value. New owners are working hard to improve from where it was and succeeding well.

Very slow service, we ordered starters and main meals at around 8pm. At 10pm our bill was brought to us, which included our food, for which we had only received the two starters (between 5 of us) ordered and not the main meal (hardly a difficult order, one pizza and 4 fish n' chips). No attempt to apologise until prompted, and the drinks service we did receive was shockingly slow. Such a shame as we all really wanted to support a local business under new management, but this is not the way to retain custom!

It has only this month re-opened under new management and we had a lovely meal there last night. The place is really clean and welcoming now, with friendly service. The food is all cooked fresh and our pizza's were really delicious. I had Calamari and my husband prawns to start and both were good. Food other people were eating like the burgers looked really good too. We will be going back next week! They are open all day from 12pm to 10pm with the kitchen closing at 9pm. I do believe that they have some specials nights, like curry night, steak night, etc. so ask when booking. I noticed they also had some outside tables in a marquee with heaters if you need an outside option.

Good honest British Pub with a good menu of dishes to suit everyone, reasonably priced too. Food is cooked to order and the service is excellent. I enjoyed a Pieminister Moo & Blue with mash, garden peas and a boat of gravy on the side 😍perfect. The Pub decor is genuinely traditional and there are a selection of real ale on tap. Definitely visit again and recommend to colleagues for a lunchtime visit.

We came here for dinner and although it had recently changed hands in business and had all the work done... Wait sorry no work was really done a play park has been added 9 months after it reopened... Food wasn't great but still wasn't terrible , lovely staff very friendly which was great .

It's an old pub with low ceilings and nice beams the staff are friendly and helpful. It's real locals pub though with the same faces in, it's nice to have a quick pint but no way would I eat here I don't think it's known for its food if I'm honest just a pint and a packet of crisps I think. The garden has a lot of potential it gets a nice bit of sunshine, a little money spent on it and it could be very welcoming!!
