Just excellent. Two stunning pieces of cod, two perfectly cooked battered sausages and a portion of chips. Right up there with some of the best f and c we have had. Grandchildren loved the fish and the sausage, made a real change from chicken nuggets. Well done to all concerned.

Maybe they have changed owners or management but this used to be the only chippy I would go to but this place has gone downhill. Just got delivered a split curry sauce and plain chips even though I asked for salt and vinegar TWICE. Attention to detail and consistency is what keeps your customers! will be ordering elsewhere from now on

I was very dissatisfied with the burger ordered a cheese quarter pounder with salad inside the burger was a piece of wet lettuce and no cheese no tomato or onion or gherkin the chips was cold as well . The fish was ok apart from being luke warm batted sausage and savaloy ok but again Luke warm

Order was late and food was barely warm, not happy with my order today at all. Generally they are on time and the food is good and hot.

Chips are absolutely shocking. dry old chips they must have been there all day. Will not be stung again! not interested in contacting the restaurant I will just take my buisness elsewhere.

I did not receive the complete order. Two pickled eggs were missing which I paid for!

Absolutely delicious as usual, never had a bad meal from here! Fish was freshly cooked and not greasy at all. Thick cut of fish and utterly tasty!

Good food arrived hot and on time

Took an hour and 45 minutes for 1 cod, 1 chips and a mushy peas. Food was decent as usual but Delivery just keeps getting worse wushu Just Eat.

Not used here before, but they are by far the best fish and chips I've had in town for a long time. Will definitely be using them again.

Amazing food as always, fresh, hot and the fish was massive. Forgot one of the curry sauces but they even had another driver go out of his way to deliver it, didn’t have to do that absolutely brilliant customer service

Chips were bland, dry and barely warm. Sausages were average. Delivery was late. Nothing to write home about.

Food is usually 5 stars from brothers, but tonight will only give 3 out of 5, as there was no flavour to the fish. Requested salad with the burger & only got a few little strands of lettuce

Ordered food at 5 pm on a Friday evening, arrived 2 hours later, cold , small portions and generally lacklustre. Was told on the phone that ‘they are very busy’. No s@&t Sherlock, it was a Friday night 🤷🏻‍♂️. Clearly more concerned with saving a few quid on extra staff than fulfilling orders. AVOID!!

Nice food, as always, and good service except for one gripe. Please read the notes as the doorbell to my flat doesn't work. What is the point of me putting them on if you are going to ignore them. That said, the delivery driver was still friendly and courteous as well as very apologetic about missing the instruction on the notes.

The battered sausage I ordered looked like it had barely any batter, the sausage and chips was so oily, Mt friends pie was OK thought.

Food that we received was great tasting and cooked well. The only issue is that the portion size for the money we paid for has dramatically changed since we ordered last. For example, the chips we ordered large, which last time went between three people. This time, the large portion we ordred turned in to a small portion on delivery, which just went between two people. Wasn't worth the £5.20 spent for a large chips.

First time I’ve had burnt batter on fish.

Love the brothers fish bar my go to chip shop but the odd time chips are way past best and even the fish just wasn't up to the usual high standard come on brother's keep the quality up

Ordered from Brothers Fish Bar tonight, staff on the phone were helpful and polite, my order was delivered in good time and the delivery driver had an electric car which was impressive, food was hot and very tasty, I ordered cod and chips, plus 2 kids meals, will be ordering again for sure.

Order a delivery tonight. Food was 11/10 so fresh and tasty. Large cod was massive and chip were so light and fluffy. Highly recommend The Brothers.

Ordered 2night very disappointed with the food. The kid's meal ordered the chips where just awlful and the sausage was very greasy and I can still taste the oil like it hadn't been changed. The mushy peas where like water and no mushy peas in there and the cod I ordered is dripping in oil not edible so went to waste and wasted money.

Used to use when we libed in town but have moved and always been wary of getting fish and chips delivered. Just had a delivery and it was excellent with fast delivery. The fish and the chips were pipping hot and crucially still crisp.

First time ordering from here, Chips were very good and curry sauce exceptional. The cod I received was okay, it wasn’t crispy and didn’t have much flavour to it but the texture of the fish itself was bang on. Would order again, Fast delivery and all hot on arrival.

Normally the food and service from these guys is the best around, however, last night we had family round for dinner and although the sausages, chicken and fish were perfectly cooked and hot the chips (4 large portions for a party of 8) were cold and unappetising. Disappointing to say the least when you spend £54.00!!!

Food was completely cold. We live a ten minute drive from the shop so how can you manage this? We reckon it had been in the warmer all afternoon and was sent off early to clear the stock for the evening.

We ordered last night and one of the items we selected was mushrooms, within two minutes of me placing the order i received a call from a very polite lady offering us an alternative to the mushrooms as they had none left, we asked for onion rings. The food turned up on time and was hot and delicious.
