The server got our order wrong when reading it back to us and then we still proceeded to receive a dish we didn’t order and had to send back. The drinks took ages even though the place was not busy, the man at the bar was too busy throwing bottles in the air to open some j20s. The J20s were not shaken before they were opened so there was a thick fruit pulp settled in the bottom. No cutlery when our food arrived so I had to ask - it then took ages for it to be bought over while we all stared at our food. Portion sizes were also very small and the food was mediocre in taste. The toilet was filthy and the toilet seat wasn’t even attached to the toilet. There was a staff member cleaning tables and taking plates away - I don’t want to cause any offence but she was so miserable I honestly felt depressed when she came near us. A staff member also told a customer off for using the one way system wrong (fair enough - covid safety) which she then proceeded to walk the wrong way herself the whole time we were there. There was no way I was going to order dessert, £90 for a horrible evening. I did leave a 10% tip for our server as he was polite enough but didn’t bother asking for a discount as I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Also there is only one entrance/exit so when I had to ask people checking in if I could please get past to exit they looked at me like I’d just insulted them. I didn’t feel like waiting for them to be finished chatting to the staff member they were clearly friends with before I could leave.

Went as a treat for my partners granddaughters birthday treat was sat next to the griddles while most of the restaurant was empty , waited ages for service and our drinks .strange as it was only a third full, food turned up was as dry as a postman’s foot on dole check day . Not taste didn’t get any kids activity packs, no special treat as I had mention on my reservation for the little ones birthday couldn’t wait to get out of there in the end .won’t be going back and only one of the staff put a bit of effort in the rest we’re busy on there mobiles or chatting to there friends that had came in for a chat .

I visited over the weekend with my son. To say the place was struggling is a slight understatement, many things they were out of stock and they were obviously very short staffed. Once our food arrived, eventually, it was very delicious. At the end, we managed to have a good chat with our server, who had kindly sorted a discount for the long wait we had had. I have to say, the service we received from Douglas could not be faulted, he was kind, informative and very understanding when I got a little frustrated. When I asked what the problem was he talked me through, in detail the issues, and now I understand why they were facing so many things, I have nothing but respect for the staff. I heard our server being treated so disgustingly by other tables that honestly, how he kept his composure I have no idea. So, thank you, Douglas and the rest of the staff at TGIs that day for pushing through and supplying a nice meal and a smile in these strange times we live in. I’ll be back, as soon as the demand for eating out has calmed down a bit.

OK, I didn't expect too much due to covid etc..but was really disappointed here as visited many times before. Yes, service is very (very) slow, but not blaming the waiter as just reduced staff and many tables to serve. Yes, also they have very limited choice, but understand this. What really was bad is the actual sizes of the meal which must be an HQ directive? I have had many burgers here in the past and always a decent size, it seems now they just put the prices up a lot and reduce massively the portions on food? I was amazed to see the burger, really small, no joking like a big mac with just one patty in it! Desert was also really small, like child portion, I had the brownie and it was wafer thin with small dollop of ice cream. Left hungry and came home and made myself a sandwich!! £45 poorer for 2 burger meals and.chiclen strip starter. Next time will stick to McD :-) at least don't leave hungry hahahaha

We booked a table with no problem and arrived at 5:30 pm Sunday. The tables are well spaced and sanitized and the staff wear masks. The menu, which is a reduce selection, is on a smart phone only and thus no other option. Why cannot they have a printed laminated sheet that can me sanitized after use - not everybody has a smart phone. After selecting what you wanted you had to remember every detail as it was not a means of ordering this was still done by the waiter asking you and then saying what they didn't have. We wanted steak - they had run out of all steak dishes. There was limited chicken option and some of them and sides were not available. The waiter was doing his best, but the system was flawed - not planned well enough for a bank holiday with good weather. The starter finally turned up 1 hour later and as we were only given1 hour 40 minutes for our booking, we said this was not good enough - he extended it. The main course turned up just before 7 pm. By the time we had got through this we had no time for dessert.

We booked a table for 4, asked it to be increased to 6 but was told those seats were booked however when we arrived only 2 were being used.When we ordered there was 4 tables near us with left over plates uncleared. This attracted a load of seagulls. Being in the marina you can understand a few but there were probably 50 flying around nearby and at least 10 hovering around the food. This was only cleared after we complained. We asked to move to the booths as away from the seagull chaos but was told they were all fully booked. When we went to the toilet the booths for 6 were again empty.20 minutes after ordering drinks one of our group hadn’t received their drink.40 minutes after ordering food we asked where it was and surprisingly it showed up after 5 minutes. The food however was cold, dry and tasteless after being under the lamp for so long clearly waiting and not being served to us. Again we spotted when going to the toilet the amount of food stacked up was unreal at the kitchen.As another reviewer has stated you’ve had time off so you would expect staff to have had training and that you would have been keen to be working. Lots of other places I’ve been the staff have been quick, courteous and have been so thankful to be back at work. You could clearly tell these staff were overworked and undertrained.Really not the TGI experience I would have liked.I wouldn’t recommend anyone going until at least a few months when lockdown restrictions have eased and staff hopefully would have had training as they clearly opened the doors wanting to get money and don’t care about their staff or customers.

If you’re thinking of coming soon. Don’t bother.Firstly you need to book a table, but there’s no signs saying this at all. So you queue for 30 mins plus without anyone letting you know this. Or they turn you away at the door. Great if you’ve driven here... There’s a big white a frame over the menus outside so you can’t see what you want beforehand, and guess what, even if you decide, you can’t have it. The fryers have blown! So salad or garlic bread pretty much is the limit. There are spaces in the sun but apparently the 6 free tables were all booked...... so freeze in the shade.. only to see people walk in and take a seat in those tables ! Thanks.We wanted to pay but no one could find the card machine. Absolute shambles guys, you’d think having a year off would mean things were clean and organised but it’s sadly not. Waste of time. Please sort it out.

Was really look forward to visiting this Friday’s as a guest I love dining in other Friday’s. Host was on her mobile phone upon entry “her bf was booking an Uber” Waiter was lovely to start with but he obviously went on his break and an SA took over...long long wait between starters and mains and when my steak fajitas arrived it was very well done... wanted to send it back but the person I was dining with doesn’t like to complain. Toilets were an absolute state as well and considering the host was sat on her phone most of the meal I don’t understand why? Starters were lovely and I love the decor of the site.

Así que nada nos dijo con respecto a algo de la comida que "faltaba" hasta que se sirvió entonces - oh, hemos agregado cebollas extra para compensar el hecho de que faltaba bla y bla. ¿POR QUÉ NO NOS CUENTAN ANTES? ¿Por qué pagar un buen dinero por una cebolla barata? Ayer estábamos en el puerto deportivo para tomar un trago y me dio hambre, así que dimos una vuelta por los restaurantes para ver qué nos apetecía. Mi compañero tenía un anhelo de strippers de pollo y me apetecía una hamburguesa, así que terminamos en TGI. Tuvimos una comida deliciosa, buena comida caliente y sabrosa y un personal amable. Se estaban cumpliendo todas las medidas de COVID y nos sentimos muy seguros. Todas las demás mesas se han reservado para permitir un distanciamiento social que nos pareció muy tranquilizador. Nuestra mesa fue limpiada de nuevo antes de sentarnos. Un delicioso almuerzo al final de la tarde en un ambiente agradable.

El refresco se compró a la mesa con la lata en el vaso de hielo. ¡Quién sabe qué gérmenes había en el fondo de la lata sobre el hielo! ! 10 minutos después, la camarera tuvo que disculparse y decir que no había envolturas para las fajitas. ! ! En su lugar, pedí un bistec. Llegó la comida, en platos de aspecto muy antiguo con la impresión en la parte del plato desgastada, lo que puede parecer algo extraño para comentar, pero hizo que la comida pareciera aún más desagradable de lo que ya era. La hamburguesa estaba seca y fría, pero no nos quejamos porque la hamburguesa podría haberse calentado, pero otros habrían tenido que seguir comiendo mientras se calentaba. El filete estaba destinado a ser mediano, pero era raro y tenía mucha grasa. La mitad de la piel de las patatas estaba dura. La camarera tomó un 10% de descuento debido al problema de las fajitas. Después de haber comido en varios restaurantes con nuestras dos niñas en nuestra estancia en el Reino Unido, quedamos muy decepcionados con este restaurante. Primero, la mesa no estaba lista a tiempo, así que tuvimos que esperar afuera en el frío / viento. El lugar no estaba limpio con restos de comida por todo el suelo. Tuvimos que limpiar la comida de los asientos antes de poder sentarnos. Los baños estaban sucios. La comida no era muy buena (tuve una hamburguesa muy seca). Afortunadamente, nos beneficiamos del plan de ayuda de los gobiernos. Si hubiera tenido que pagar el precio completo, me habría sentido muy estafado. Fui a este restaurante la semana pasada para la comida del cumpleaños de mi hermano. Llegamos y conseguimos una mesa afuera, creo que deben habernos olvidado. Esperamos unos 25 minutos antes de que alguien viniera a hablar con nosotros y tomar cualquier pedido. Una vez que finalmente ordenamos que las bebidas no vinieran por otros 20 minutos, la comida llegó otra hora más tarde, así que desde que se sentaron, la comida tomó 1 hora y 40 minutos. Llegó la comida y mis papas fritas tenían 2 pelos que luego me di por vencido y envié de vuelta y dije que no quería otro y que lo quitara de la cuenta. Mi hermano y nuestro amigo comieron tiras de pollo y patatas fritas con patatas fritas y pollo seco. La peor experiencia que he tenido de lejos en cualquier restaurante. Los camareros eran perezosos y lentos y no mostraron ningún interés ni se disculparon por nuestra comida solo para preguntar si estábamos dejando una propina. No se ofrecieron más descuentos y solo queríamos irnos, todos nos fuimos casi sin comer y extremadamente hartos. Sin mencionar lo ridículamente cara que es la comida de todos modos.

Fuimos a este restaurante en julio de 2020, ¡el servicio fue terrible! El camarero tomó nuestro pedido de entrante y plato principal.Cuando salió el primer plato, el orden no era correcto. Lo envié de vuelta. El camarero también tomó mi vaso para rellenarlo. Pasaron 45 minutos, sin recarga y sin principal. El camarero que atendió nuestro pedido siguió caminando hablando con otros clientes, pero no se molestó con nosotros. Terminamos cancelando nuestro plato principal y pagando bebidas y entrantes. ¡Servicio terrible y un camarero malhumorado!

Decidimos ir a TGI Fridays porque hace mucho tiempo que no estuvimos en uno y nos sorprendió gratamente, especialmente en vista de algunas de las críticas. Reservamos en línea según sea necesario y nuestra mesa estaba lista cuando llegamos. El personal fue excelente, cada uno de los que nos atendieron fue profesional, amable y relajado, muy bueno en su trabajo. La comida y la bebida eran buenas y los precios razonables. Nos alegró ver hasta qué punto este TGI Fridays tomó el distanciamiento social. El personal era absolutamente encantador, la comida era excelente y nos fuimos sintiéndonos hinchados y satisfechos. Mi esposo Nick me llevó a TGI Fridays para mi cumpleaños hace dos días cuando reabrió después de estar cerrado durante 3 meses debido a Covid 19. Nuestra reserva fue a las 7 pm y todos esperaron afuera en una cola ordenada y segura y el personal salió muy rápidamente para llevar a los clientes a sus mesas. Empezamos por dentro, pero como el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y era una tarde cálida y seca, sin ningún problema, nos cambiaron a una mesa exterior, lo cual fue fabuloso. Tuvimos la gran suerte de ser atendidos por un brillante camarero llamado Joseph, quien nos recordaba de una visita anterior debido a nuestros tatuajes de Pesadilla antes de Navidad. ¡Nuestras bebidas y entrantes se sirvieron muy rápidamente y estaban deliciosos! ! Tuvimos que esperar un poco por nuestros platos principales, por los que Joseph se disculpó, todavía estaban muy deliciosos. El tiempo todavía pasó rápido ya que estábamos tomando muchas fotos y charlando con Joseph cuando salió a servir las mesas. I took my daughter and her partner for lunch, we were met by very friendlt staff who seated us quickly. Due to the virus situation the staff were cleaning and disinfecting continuously which was very re-assuring.We ordered our meals and drinks and they all arrived quickly and were lovely. Steaks and burgers, cocktails and desserts, could not fault them. I visited TGI Fridays in Brighton this weekend with my family for my birthday and had the most amazing experience. Firstly, the food was great, I had the ribs which were juicy and perfectly cooked, others had the fridays burger, sesame chicken strips and a steak. Orders all arrived in good time, with the steak a minute or two behind the others. Drinks were good, milkshakes were great. Best part of the night was our server, Douglas. Professional, friendly and attentive there was nothing he wouldn’t do for us and in such efficient time. Happy to have a joke with us, I can have quite boisterous humour but he certainly didn’t seem scared of keeping up! I wasn’t even embarrassed when he bought all the staff over to sing happy birthday, I had a really great time. Thanks!

Not a patch on the original restaurants, Disappointing menu, very limited choice. Some items unavailable. Very expensive.Poor presentation.Drinks were expensive too and full of ice. The whole place looked tired and in need of a good clean.VERY noisey with no atmosphere. Almost impossible to have a converstaion due to the background noise and constant birthday celebrations. The staff were doing their best but working against a tide of chaos.We went there because our original choice of venue was closed. We shall NOT be returning any time soon.

I am disappointed I cannot rate this place lower than a 1 out of 5. I went with my family for a child’s birthday had a table booked at 6 on a Thursday getting to the restaurant it was very quiet with plenty of staff. Ordered food at 6:15 and received it at 7:30. 1hr 15 minutes for some very simple dishes I.e burger, chicken, chips. After seeing 15 minutes of approx. 15 dishes sitting on the side of the counter not being taken out which were then eventually served by a very unapologetic waitress. The food was served 1 dish at a time with the first few dishes served every 3 minutes then the final dish waited on for a further 10 minutes by which time the members of the table with their dishes had finished them. It was mentioned to the waitress with pink hair when the final dish was finally served that we had been waiting a rather long time for the food and the final dish in which she responded with ‘alright’ in a very sarky aggressive attitude. The food was adequate but very basic. I would not recommend going to TGI Friday down Brighton marina unless you are looking for average food and abysmal service.

Went out for Christmas meal, I'm veggie but also eat vegan food, my first experience was in the summer I had veg fajitas and they where so bland, mainly onions and suger snap peas so this time time. I had mozzarella sticks for starters which where ok, nothing special. Then as there wasn't much choice if you don't want meat I had another starter for main which was the loaded potato skins with veg.As it was my main they done me a bigger portion. I only ate 3 as they where very dry and where was the veg all I had was spring onions. Absolutely awful will never be going there again. The rest of the group (5 of us in total )where dissatisfied aswell .Thats 5 off us never going again

We were a group of 7 and we had dinner here last Saturday. We were greeted and shown to our table and then was introduced to our waitress Liv. She was very accommodating, happy and coped really well with us as we can be a bit of a handful. The food was great, cocktails were even better. We were asked if we needed anything and Liv explained all the meals and desserts very well by giving us some recommendations. Liv was an excellent waitress, even if she didn't always get our jokes, she was a lot of fun. Please pass on our thanks to Liv. We will be visiting again soon.

First time I have been here, I liked the atmosphere, our waitress was lovely but not over impressed with food. Had cocktails and they didn't have to for one like alot of other places. My husband had brushettas which he liked but wasn't what he expected as topping wasn't grilled. Then he had garlic chicken with spicy rice again he liked it but it wasn't a wow that great. My son and I shared a starter of peas, jalapeño and pineapple which again was ok. Not enough Jalapeño, to many peas. Pineapple part had great flavour. Then my so had vegan pasta which he enjoyed. I had Vegan faitas which had to many sugersnap peas and far to many onions. Not much flavour. Had nice time with family but won't be going back .Portion size not bad but food didn't hit the spot

Visited for dinner whilst staying in Brighton for the weekend. TGI's is always a safe bet as you know exactly what you're going to get... the place was lively when we arrived which set a good atmosphere but unfortunately we were given a table next to the open kitchen, even though we booked well in advance. The food coming out of the kitchen was being placed next to me all night which lead to staff members having to lean over me constantly to collect the food. We did ask to move but they were fully booked, it was a Saturday night. The food was alright, not amazing but the table position just became annoying by the end of the evening.

Waiting to be seated in a large empty room whilst staff chatted amongst themselves, we were finally seated, not where we wanted, with high stools but in a low booth. No one was using it the area we wanted. Gluten free burger came with a palaver of 2 staff checking my intolerances; I thought they must care, it's going to be good. Sadly no, the burger was dry and tasted of old fat. The bread was actually impossible to eat; stale, it crumbled in my fingers. I wanted it toasted but it clearly would not have taken a toasting. My partners food was edible but the chips were soggy and the burger still overdone and tasting of old fat. I asked for water, it never came. There was a spoonful of good slaw but not enough to properly enjoy. I will NEVER go there again. A wasted hour I'll never get back.

Daughters 8th birthday meal out, staff were extreamly friendly from the moment we walked through the doors, restataunt was clean and bright, food came out quickly, great portions. A Monday trip with the family to TGI. Like many of the other restaurants in this chain its choice of food offerings provides a vast array. Although staff where about food service was very slow although excellent when we got it. We skipped dessert not because we didn't want any but because it took sooo long for the main that we just couldn't face it. There looked liked 2 waiting staff but mainly one doing all the hard work as the other lady could barely walk with her own health issues?? Sorry - not the best from TGI this time around.

We ate at TGI’s this afternoon to celebrate a birthday and never before have we been met with such knowledgable staff in regard to food allergies. Hats off to the waiters and other staff at this restaurant for taking this issue so seriously, without it interfering with the dining experience. The food, service and atmosphere were all great despite it being a very wet Monday afternoon.
