Tesco Cafe in Ashford

I went in there yesterday middle of the afternoon. Very quiet with people playing pool and watching the sport on TV. There is no real ale here, but the bar staff were terrific. A top dollar bar maid.

Afternoon tea was lush! Couldn’t fault it service was great plenty of sweet and savoury cakes and nibbles. Fairly priced nice atmosphere!

Always crowded. It seems to be a good idea to get a seat first and then order. Often, because of the crowds, the clean-up is not kept up to date and it can be a bit messy... I tend to come on Friday evenings and on weekends, so maybe it's just this time of day? The drinks are perfect. It's also nice that a piece of chocolate is included. Please note that the cafe is not gluten-free friendly, so if you want a meal, beware.

The staff were very friendly and polite. I like peppermint tea with some honey and to relax in there.

Stayed for a night and it was exactly what we wanted. Perfectly placed in the surrounding areas and train station. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was delicious. Service was great. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
