Tandoori Ghor in Hastings

Great find. Would come here again. ( Alex I think his name was,young lad who was working on the 7th of April ) Delivered Great customer service. Food was fresh and tasty, with a good selection.

Great prices, clear menu, attentive staff... Need I say more?

The food was well-cooked and tasty. it was a well-sized portion. The Delivery was good. The one problem I have is that my 2 plain popadoms were missing, apart from that it was good.

If you would like an Indian meal at lunchtime then Tandoori Ghor is the place. Their set meal for one is the best value for miles

Vegetable Biryani was not the best, there was no veg in it at all the potatoes were hard there was no Bookly or any collie flower the onion was burnt as for the curry it was over spicy, and i feel it was not the best

The set meal is, IMO, still the best value and quality Indian meal in Hastings

The food was delicious however it was cold sadly. Definitely would order again I assume the coldness was because it’s NYE 😌

We have enjoyed these curries for way over 12 years now & have never been disappointed either eating in or taking out. They are always delivered hot, and in generous portions. Good quality, well cooked and thoroughly enjoyable !

We ordered food around 3pm on 29th October . When the order is placed the delivery time was 3:55 to 4:15. However around 3:30 the status was set to out for delivery and food was delivered at 4:40. There is no proper communication to let us know about the delay. We had to call them frequently for the updates . Very bad service and made us to wait more than what it should be.

Four of us went for dinner based on the recommendation of a friend who had been before. All of the mains and sides were delicious, and our plates were cleared! Will definitely be going back

For the third time we have ordered a takeaway to be delivered and something is missing. Come on it can’t be that difficult to get it right. The food is good at least what is delivered !!!!!

Unfortunately, it's not as good as I'd hoped. Taste wise, it was okay. However, it was stone cold, and the garlic naan had burnt bits and was too greasy. I will be requesting a refund for this one. It also showed as delivered about 20 mins before it actually arrived.

Lovely food and even though it was 10 minutes late we had a call from the restaurant to tell us this which was great.

Fish pakoras ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and chicken shashlik was delicious. Staff Were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant 👍

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! It’s dry and bland food the sauce comes is little pots I have to flush it and it was lumpy and smelt like gone of fish!!! Save your money DONT GO HERE??!!

Haven’t been to this one for about 5 years, visited with my wife for the buffet. The restaurant itself has had a (probably well needed) refurbishment and appears bright open and clean. The buffet consists of 24 different dishes including breads, bhajis’ and fritters, and a wide variety of rice, vegetable and meat/seafood. I managed to sample all 24 dishes, some more than once, and couldn’t fault any. Staff were friendly and helpful and the cost very reasonable, definitely will be back at some point.

I wish I had read reviews first, food was tasteless and arrived late and cold. I have requested a refund for the cold items. Will definitely not be ordering from here again

Worst takeaway ever and not cheap. 2 Chicken Tikka, 1 rice and 1 naan £27.50. There was barely any chicken, except is was not chicken, it was gristle - all of it, see photo of it rinsed. Avoid.

Worst meal I’ve ever had from here, it was cold and the meat was like rubber. The cheese naan if that’s what you can even call it was burnt and had a small amount of cheese grated on the top. I think I will find somewhere else to order from in future.

I usually love this restaurant but today i am disappointed… huge lump of something green very hard 4cm by 2cm… food was cold and not to the usual standard…. bones in meat…… absolutely gutted

Had more meat in an asda microwave meal! If you like curry sauce this Is the place for you ! poppadoms came with salad…. 1 sliced cucumber and 1 … quarter tomatoe to share between two so half of each lol, and a pinch of iceberg lettuce … won’t ever order from here again

Well what can I say apart from an utter disappointment .. as an Indian man I’m insulted by this excuse of an Indian … no meat, too much garlic, salad that was off… greasy beyond belief… I’m not sure the lamb was lamb… who knows.. it’s a secret the thandori ghor keeps and one that no one else need to discover .., psshhhhhh 🤲🏾

We went with 2 friends to Tandoori Ghor, we had a superb meal which all enjoyed. We went on a Thursday which is their banquet night offering 4 courses for £17.95. We all had a selection of dishes, really tasty. The drinks also were very reasonable a very tasty Chardonnay, was our choice our friends had beers. We would all recommend this comfortable restaurant with its lovely food, and attentive and helpful staff.

By far the worst Indian I’ve ever had. Meat was dry and chewy, rice was wet and had no flavour, onion baji was like a badly attempted hash brown made out of onions, samosas were spicy but carried no real flavour, just glad I had some bread to fill up on. Will be sticking to Bay Spice in future

Never had a bad meal from here and I use them at least once a month and have done for 3 years. One of the best in town

It's worth trying chicken bhuna if you do not know the dish and it comes with the set meal - not too spicy hot but delicious. Great value as always

First time visiting for a family birthday. Lovely food, with a good balance of spice and flavour in the 4 different main meals plus side dishes. Good service, no long waiting for the food. Definitely not our last visit to this restaurant.

Not happy with the quality of food given. The pickle provided was too spicy, gave me a heartburn. Won’t order from here again .

Its was during the out of season period. The food was edible, I had a standard chicken korma chips and rice. There wasn't much flavor to the chicken, thick sauce but it wasn't very creamy again not much in flavor. Had a coconut rice seems like they made the rice and sprinkled coconut shaving over the top. But it filled me up im guessing that is all that matters.

My husband and i have been using Tandoori Ghor for the last 3 years approximately. And always been treated with respect. the Indian spices are amazing. IF we have a problem with any order the staff are only to pleased to help rectified any mistakes. so all in all. My Husband and i are very pleased with the food that we order from Tandoori Ghor

They sent the wrong curry which I was unable to eat and wouldn’t refund as ordered on just eat. First time ordering and won’t go back.

I phoned the restaurant, was told, its on its way, the Vegetable Biryani had lots of rice and not a lot of veg but did taste very nice thank you

I ordered the "set meal for one" and a chicken madras curry. The set meal is extremely good value for money Generous portions, high quality chicken, tasty curry and plenty of salad with the chicken tikka. An extra bonus if you prefer your main meal at lunchtime - Tandoori Ghor is the only restaurant that delivers at that time in Hastings

Food order was slightly late which is ok but when food did turn up it was freezing cold korma was spicy and chicken rock hard absolutely disgusting and onion Bhaji and naan were freezing cold we had to throw it all away won’t be ordering from here ever again

Food tastes bland, it arrived just warm, naan was straight up cold. The app said the food arrived 20 minutes before it actually did. So as it was late I called the restaurant. They said sorry, we’ve been busy… Surely on a Friday night, you should expect to be busy, so that shouldn’t affect service and quality. Understandable if it was a Tuesday night and it was randomly busy so they weren’t prepared, but a Friday when you know it will be busy… Shame…

There are 3 reasons why I order from Tandoori Ghor. Firstly their tasty food hits the spot. Secondly they are arguably the best value for money in the area. Finally they deliver at lunchtime when most others are still closed

It was 20 minutes late but it was also new years day so understand how busy it was. Also was missing poppadoms from our order but restaurant were helpful after calling.

Delivery although on time was a long wait however it was New Year’s Eve, food was Luke warm, onion Bhajis were very greasy and inedible, veg curry that came with biryani was bland. Won’t order from here again

Had a wonderful takeaway last week, unfortunately today the food was awful, with no taste at all. I'm so disappointed. Watery spinach chicken, butterfly King prawn in a soggy batter coating, and tasteless lamb. I know you do great food as we had it last week. Today, we did not get good food at all.

Paid full price for curry sauce without the chicken , meant to compensate and send extra sauce but it didn’t turn up with the order. Sauce really watery , naan bread never great , madras was ok but overall I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be ordering from here anymore

Great place to enjoy an Indian meal. The staff are professional, welcoming and kind. I visited on a Sunday evening and had the buffet. Plenty of choices meat or vegetarian. Good value for money. Nice view, clean restaurant. Super service, take away or delivery available. I would visit again.

This is only the 2nd time I’ve ordered from Tandoori Ghor and the food was amazing. The Chicken Vindaloo I had was extra spicy which I asked them to do, and they even put some more chilli in a plastic container with the order. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again. Fantastic food and very good portions.

To day we had chicken curry. vegie briny and chicken corma with garlic nan bread and poppadum's the chicken curry and the corma was not good. we had replace and the second delivery was the same as the first NOT VERY GOOD. all the meals had no tasked and like juiced water,.

This was our first order and we were very pleasantly surprised. Generous portions, attention to detail and excellent quality. We will be back!
