After trying the subway platters for events I run in Portsmouth for young people, I’ve been coming back to Rahul at this subway for over a year now. Always had the best experience and staff always seem very accommodating to both customers and I. I will be continuing to work with Rahul to put on food for young people in the city over the coming years!

I usually visit this place for food since past two years. I have always been treated well. But tonight I faced the worst customer service experience I never give bad reviews but one of your staff members(guy with the glasses) was very mean and rude to me. I know you are busy but then let us know I can wait, this is not okay. The worst 5mins I have ever spent here.😅 I have always approached a staff who is very friendly but I don't think I'll ever visit again.

Very very bad experience with staff...I don't know employee name but the way he answer and he is not even ready to give what we want...if food is not available...he should explain it in a polite way..too rude to customers.... subway if u keep such employees they'll pull down ur business. Staff incredibly rude and selling items when they haven’t got all the ingredients, but they think that’s okay! You should never sell something if you haven’t got the ingredients for it it’s just wrong. It’s also against the trades subscription act.

Went to redeem a couple of rewards my partner had on the app, but I couldn't use the app properly. The employee there was very understanding and helped me with the app + rewards + took good care of the food. It was very good. The employee (I believe Rahul, apologies if I misspelled) was very nice and friendly. 10/10, nice food, outstanding service.

I am utterly disappointed in the costumer interaction in the store. For being a first time customer in subway, the employees on duty were very rude behaved like they were forced to do their Job, weren’t even trying to listen to what we were saying, and there wasn’t even a lot of customers in the store at that time, around 4pm march 16 To top it off they were not even in the uniform and after this experience I would never enter a subway again.

Ordered in the store. The staff was rude. Didn’t ask if I wanted cheese and which one I wanted. They had assumed I wanted cheese and could eat it. When in fact I’m allergic to cheese. They removed it off the sub and we’re going to continue with preparing it for me, luckily a customer noticed there was cheese still in the sub and demanded that I should be given a new one. Once this happened they put vegan cheese on and put it in the oven for a 5 seconds claiming I had held up the queue and needed to be hurried along, which meant my sub was stone cold. At this point I just wanted to pay and get out, which is exactly what I did. This is the worst Subway store in Portsmouth by far and I will never be returning to it.

The most bad experience I’ve ever had in subway at Portsmouth the staff called ‘rahul gupta’ he serve customer like nothing he is not listening our needs in sub he is just doing accordingly on his own wish and there is lack of food stuff on them because when i asked for wedges he said no to me and not even apologised for that situation, I personally don’t recommend this store to visitors

worst subway i have seen in my life i recommend do not come here. we went for dinner yesterday night as we wanted to use our subway reward point but the guy said we don't accept that and behaviour was rude with us and said our system not working later said our subway would not accept that reward. subway need to do something it happened second time with me.

The people who work here are lovely! They're polite and apologetic, it's a naff subway but that isn't their fault. Whoever manages this place needs to have all team members property trained, and you need to improve your inventory, maybe ask someone else to do the stock check? The food tastes the same as any other subway, no complaints there... Wouldn't take much to make this 5*

Very unprofessional and unimpressed with this store states it’s open till 3am so arrive at 1:30 and the staff member locked the door as said it was shut even though opening times online and on the door say till 3am, staff member on shift today was very rude and not apologetic will not be using this store again , they are paying the man to drive away customers.

Everything was chaotic, they gave me someone else’s sandwich. Asked for coffee they gave me the wrong cup and told me off for putting coffee in it when I asked how to put milk in it. Got attacked by steam from the machine instead. Eventually served a big cup of disappointment with normal milk.

I came unto subway last Thursday night / Friday morning after clubbing at HB. I used to work at subway so I only wanted 1 thing and 1 thing only, a mega meat wrap. Our server did such an amazing job considering he was alone and how many of us there were at such a late hour. Even my wraps weren't that we'll wrapped, and I worked at a subway for almost 3 years. I was literally barely walking down the road with friends and this wrap stayed together. 10/10 would go there again

Typically most subway branches in the local area are very welcoming and friendly, (North End, Oceanside) this one is not, by a long stretch. Staff behind the counters are never wearing uniform. They either have their home clothes (casual jackets/blue jeans) on, and to make things worst, they don't even know what a face covering is, or how to wear one correctly. On my most recent visit, halfway through my order, one staff member (wearing no uniform, heavy Indian-Asian accent, apologies if wrong) decided out of the blue, to tell me the card machine had broken. Not only could he of told me before I ordered, but he could of had the decency to communicate this in a polite manner. Store was also filthy and due to the size of customer area, social distancing is impossible especially when you have a large hoard of drunk students walking in, which is a frequent sight given this store is located adjacent to a halls of residence block. Even with a face covering on, I felt incredibly unsafe. Best to avoid this branch altogether.

Terribly slow service, the two people working there didn't seem to know what they were doing. One of them wasn't even wearing any face covering which is unacceptable when making someone's food during a pandemic. Also a group of about 5 lads came in and none of them were wearing face masks. I felt very exposed as it's quite a small inside, the people working at Subway didn't say anything to them, didn't even ask them to wait outside. To avoid getting Covid avoid coming here.

Don’t even know where to start! Firstly, the lady serving wasn’t wearing any face covering at all! Which is off putting on entry! She then used the same gloves for everything! Handling change, using the till, touching the toasting machine, and then touching the sandwiches!! During a pandemic, this is unbelievable to see! I then asked for tiger bread, and received normal Italian, and was told this was the tiger bread. And to add insult to injury, I was charge more than advertised on the menu! Normally a massive subway fan, but this has put me off for a long time. Avoid this branch if you want to stay safe please!

Servido hoy a las 7 pm, entró y ordenó, estaba algo ocupado pero no tan mal. El tipo que estaba detrás del mostrador hizo mal mi pedido, así que tuve que esperar por años. Solo me di cuenta cuando fue a poner la ensalada y me di cuenta de que era el sándwich equivocado (pensé que era el hombre que estaba en el frente, pero él ya tenía el suyo, por lo que el tipo desordenó mi pedido por completo) y luego también estábamos sobrecargado pero no tiene comprobante de recibo. Entonces no había lechuga, así que los clientes se estaban molestando mucho. La mitad del sándwich también se había caído, ¡había más en la envoltura que el pan real!ENTONCES, cuando nos sentamos, otras 2 clientas empezaron a poner los pies en sus sillas y estábamos confundidos. Entonces, de repente, salió una GRAN RATA y alertamos a un miembro del personal que llamó a su gerente, pero parecía bastante tranquilo acerca de la situación. Todos se fueron y después me sentí absolutamente enfermo, ya que ya había comido y luego vi la rata. . . ew NO lo recomiendo.

The sandwich I had the salad and filling was all out of the bread and soggy. The sandwich my other half had No veggie patties inside. On a previous occasion we came 30 minutes before.the store shut and the guy at the counter showed us the middle finger through the window. Do not rate going.

Worst subway I've been to. Stop serving drinks past 18:30 so couldn't use a voucher for a free 6 inch sub if i buy a 21oz drink (I arrived at around 19:00 not very late). Wouldn't of been too fused at this but when I order a normal footlong they didn't have any chicken or bacon, two key ingredients that all subways should have. They also had no sweetcorn and only 1 type of cookie, which was raisin :( Overall not impressed, mainly due to really small counter so they can't hold many items of food.

Best thing was the edamame peas , pork was microwaved and tasted disgusting and just the whole thing was a rip off and I’m fuming, not only do I have a hungry girlfriend but my own pot of food is so poor the tub is only 1cm full HUGE mistake feel like I’ve been robbed.

Do not hesitate to book your next meal at this excellent establishment. The food is first rate and the service delightful. Simply remember to bring your own drinks and the staff will do the rest. Ordered through uber eats. Food was awful. Inedible, so sweet. My chilli chicken just tasted of sugar. The sweet and sour chicken balls were also so sweet. Every other dish just tasted like the chef got sugar and salt confused. The duck hardly had any meat on it. Most expensive Chinese I have had around Portsmouth and 90% of it when in the bin. Then it came to a couple hours later and my wife has stomach ache and spends the rest of the night on the toilet. Uber eats customer service was awful fixing the issue aswell. Saying that the food is made to speck so no refund allowed. Didn’t realise their speck is food poisoning and sugar overdose. Stay well away from this place
