We have been taking my niece there every Wednesday after school for about 3 years now. It's a lovely place, the staff are always so lovely. Food is great. Highly recommend. Plus their hot chocolate is perfect.

Omg absolutely amazing staff could not do enough for us also food was brilliant. We felt like we was welcome by everyone. Would highly recommend this place and and we will definitely be back. There was 10 of us and no issues at all.

A busy cafe serving a range of all day breakfasts and lunches including burgers, chicken wraps, omelettes with quite a large menu. Prices are very reasonable and the food quality was good. Attentive table service with clean toilet facilities. Would have given 5 stars if we did not have to go and ask for cutlery to eat our meal but to be fair we did get an apology.

The kids meals are excellent my Granddaughter had nuggets and chips very good value. The staff are very attentive and although the place was very busy the service was excellent. Lovely family atmosphere

Great location in town with friendly staff, seats in the early morning sun, and chatty customers. Had the Number 7 Breakfast and sat outside to be rewarded with an extra egg, as I was the first customer to sit outside. Also hosts the Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club. Top job!

May I say on my first ever trip to Haverhill I was quite let down by the town centre but I have found a gem of a cafe in this establishment. The staff are very accommodating to every need. The menu prices are in one word Superb. Very good value for money. The food was amazing on arrival. It was a very pleasant experience I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at Star Burger. The food came out very quickly and was hot. Staff are efficient and friendly. A great place to pop into and enjoy the warm and good food. Thank you Star Burger.

Lovely Large Breakfast this one comes with burger and chips in Haverhill after a night shift. Other breakfast options are available. Did not like their milkshake though as just flavoured syrup and vanilla icecream. The great tasting tea made up for it. Not the chapeast breakfast, other cheaper options available. Mine was £8.00, with Tea and extra 1 x toast costing extra. Great breakfast choices, something for most tastes. Staff/service very friendly, from observation others had visited before.

We came here for our friends hen night meal and the food was amazing. There was 21 of us in total and nothing was to much trouble, their service was fantastic. Usually come for lunch, portion sizes great and food always delicious. Only comment is the soft drinks on draught always taste a little flat, maybe we are unlucky when we come in but other never deters us from a visit. Service is always great.

First time visiting Star Grill last night with my mates. Didn't know what to expect having always eaten Turkish cuisine in North London but I can say that this is on par!! Great service, hot, fresh and big portions. Value for money for certain and will definitely be revisiting, especially if they introduce Chicken and Lamb Doner options!

Service was second to none, staff very friendly and explained the dishes. Food came out quickly and was cooked to perfection, tasted so nice. Such a great atmosphere.

We had a fabulous meal last night. As always nothing is too much trouble for the staff who go above and beyond to ensure your meal goes smoothly. We chose to share a Cold Mezze and the Meat Platter for 4, portions were more than generous (we needed leftovers boxing) and the quality of food was great. We left feeling like we had a real treat and our guests were very complimentary about our venue choice. If you are looking for somewhere you can trust to deliver high quality food and great service with good value for money then look no further.

Walked past this place during the day and thought was just a burger bar. Went back at night based on Tripadvisor reviews. Was not disappointed. I came for a meal a couple of weeks ago and decided I would bring my family back for my birthday. The food once again was really special and tasted amazing. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The price was good too for the amount of food served which was immense and cheaper and better than the other Turkish restaurant in the town that we have tried. We are fortunate enough to visit Turkey for our holidays every year so love the Turkish cuisine. This is our second time visiting the Star Grill and won’t be the last. Amazing Turkish food and cocktails and you would not know you were not in Turkey. The staff are very friendly and amazing service. Would give more than 10/10. Anything you don’t eat they package for you to take home. Can’t wait to go back !

Amazing food and feeling healthy after. Would choose this restaurant over everywhere else in town. Service was top notch and with the layout this could easily be used for business or pleasure.

After being recommended this restaurant for a Turkish takeaway we tried it. We ordered a mixed meat meal for two. The meat was tasty and well cooked. Good sized portions. It came with rice, bulgar, salad and really good flatbreads. We did order a side order of chips which was more than enough. For people that don’t have takeaways we will definitely do this again. Please try this takeaway.

Lockdown 2.0 just got a whole lot better. We had the most amazing food this evening, everything cooked to perfection, the salad so fresh and crisp, I pre-ordered and the food arrived right on time. We had the mixed platter for two, there’s more than enough food! I’m coeliac and the food is all perfectly safe for me to eat the bread comes packaged separately to the meats salad and sauces. The mixed grill Meat Platter for 2 is fantastic! Every item was cooked perfectly, we required gluten free for one diner and the staff ensured all gluten containing items were separate and everyone was able to fully enjoy the selection available. We look forward to coming to dine in just as soon as the current restrictions are lifted. Super friendly staff and great food - the perfect combination.

This restaurant came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. The meat was all cooked to perfection, the sauces, bread and salad were fantastic. Definitely didn't need the side portion of chips.Will definitely use again when stopping in Haverhill and can't wait for Lockdown 2 to finish to enjoy what I can only imagine will be a fantastic atmosphere as a dine in experience.

We ordered a takeaway to pick up before lockdown 2. The restaurant and staff are welcoming on arrival with good Covid procedures in place. Our food once home was fresh, well cooked using great quality produce and was clearly the result of a chef that cares. And We are looking forward to going through the menu.

First time having a meal there as star grill. Food was out of this world, its like being in a restaurant in Turkey. The ambience was great the staff are a credit to Ali who is the owner, I will definitely eat there again and would highly recommend it. We have been twice now and both times have been treated to very good food & excellent service. Covid-19 rules apply, We ordered starters, mix grill & a dessert the first time all. You also get an unexpected salad turkish bread & dips we just about got through it. The second time we had 1 started & missed the dessert, Food has been a real treat can't wait to visit again.

We ordered a meat platter & side of baba ganoush for 2 persons and it was just superb. The meat was all cooked to perfection and sides of salad, rice, bread and dips was a real feast. My only problem is it’s a pricy takeaway at £34 for 2 people so more or a treat than the weekly takeout I’d really love.

We had yet another beautiful Turkish meal last night. The shish kebabs were amazing. The chicken was juicy and the lamb cooked perfectly. We also love the little touches like the salad dips and flat bread (oh, that bread!) that you are given as standard.We never leave hungry.The staff also make this place so special. Went on a ad-hoc meal and arrived at this place. You wouldn't believe the staff input and the food quality. Everything was perfect and the people working there couldn't do enough for you. Well done star burger. Nice food, nice setting, nice staff. Top marks all round!
