Very Rude staff. I ordered a chicken burger for me and it was slimy and undercooked. I ordered another grilled chicken burger and it was so dry and flakey. And also served a hand full of chips. Was terrible 🤮 Also ordered a lemon and herb chicken meal and the chicken was grey. Wouldn’t go there again

Ordered the steak and kidney pudding along with a glass of white wine. The wine was spot on and the flavour of the pud was ok but for trading standards purposes it should be renamed ‘gravy pudding’ as it contained 3 tiny pieces of meat and some sauce - I know the food is cheap but don’t waste your money on this con

Nice pub shame about the barmaid that served me and my partner tonight. We visited Deal for a few days and this is our second visit. My first drink was served by a lovely guy while the female in mentioned ignored me and serviced a regular from a far instead of me and was very friendly to him. My partner got the second drink and asked for his pint to be topped up and she showed her displeasure. I just got a final drink and to be honest felt it was an inconvenience to serve me. Sad as a nice place and other staff fine. Sad how one person can turn a visit into a negative experience. I won’t judge as maybe its a one off and she has personal issues I don’t know about. We all go through tough times.

great spoons location!!! great food and the usual amazing variety of food. very little wait and a much more quiet environment compared to other wetherspoons that i have been to. there is even a lift for wheelchairs so the stairs aren't an issue.

Stopped for a drink just because of Norman. Good prices.

I went this morning with my partner and 4 months old daughter for breakfast. It was really hot inside but not overly crowded. We ordered breakfast and I opted for a large breakfast. When it arrived they had only made me a regular. Mistakes happen, I get it. I was hungry so had made a point of going for a large. I told staff member Karen and she was good about it and sent it back so I could get the large. By the time it returned my partner was finished. From where we sat I could see the kitchen staff chucking some extra toast on top. When I saw the plate I immediately realised that it was not fresh and they had added the missing bits to my old order. Funnily enough everything else on the plate was now stone cold. It would have been a while before they made a new fresh (hot) breakfast so I was understandably annoyed and so asked for a refund. Fair play to Karen, she was really good and apologetic about it and said it should have been made fresh. She had to get the manager to help with the refund but he looked as if he could not care any less, gave a bit of a shrug and left. Poor food prep, poor management and left very annoyed at the experience. (This does not include Karen, who was helpful and did seem like she cared.)

Well we won't be eating here again. 3 meals ordered 10oz gammon came in two thin horrible looking slices. All day brunch, they forgot the sausages and bought them on a separate plate when they remembered. Vegan sausage beans and chips came out as sausage mash and peas. They took it away and returned it, sausages with mash still showing on them cold beans and chips. Bad service, bad food.

The place was very busy I think short staffed as well. The food is not good all my chips were hard. Very dirty table asked for it to be cleaned which was done with a dirty cloth. Have known it to be alot better in the past.

Definitely one of the better spoons. Food is a lot more consistently good in the last month (I maybe go once a week). Prices are amazing of course, service is good too, tables are generally clean rather than sticky. It does seem to always be busy lately too, so it must not just be me that thinks it’s better

Of all the pubs in Deal, this has the best atmosphere as it is where all the locals have been forced to go. For the same beer, it’s several times cheaper here than other pubs, which have turned to favour London customers. The food is about what you’d expect, but the staff are generally very nice.

We stopped for a quick bite and pint. Although it's set back from the seafront, it's worth the short walk.

I found the staff are friendly and helpful and that's made our staying was good. Only feed back is our room was a bit smells of medical oils.

Went here for lunch with my little one, they do a really good meal deal for kids, they can get a main 2 sides and a drink for around 5 pounds then their pudding is only 1 pound odd will definitely be coming back

While food was fine, management was brash and rudely loud when dealing with customer concerns. A clear lack of understanding when dealing with vulnerable customers. The noise level of the pub did not require shift leader to be so loud and short with customers.

I want to give a good review for this place but each time I visit its always dirty you see some empty tables but there always dirty and I need to ask staff to clean them which takes ages because there always busy and one lady was very abrupt with me and didn't clear our table properly she left lots of cups on the side which I had to clear away, Other than that the food is reasonably priced and well presented on the the plate the coffees are good quality Lavaza is my favourite coffee and the refill of teas coffee is very nice. I do hope they can improve on the cleanliness as it puts us off going In.

We recently visited the Wetherspoons in Deal and was thoroughly impressed. The pub was clean and tidy, with plenty of space to sit and relax, whether you’re dining solo or in a group. I ordered the cod and chips, and it was clear the food was freshly cooked to order. The cod was perfectly prepared, with large, chunky flakes of fish that were deliciously tender. The accompanying mushy peas were tasty and complemented the meal well. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my visit. Overall, this is a great spot for a casual meal or a drink, with excellent service, food quality and great value for money.

great spoons, girlfriends local. wings came out nice and hot and the honey sauce came full. the cheesy chips were exemplary but they were nuclear heat. bathrooms up a lovely set of stairs with big mirror for awkward fit check photos. alot of unnecessary stairs so that gets bonus points, brill place basically.

Very vibrant colours and atmosphere which lifting up your mood as soon as you entered in this venue. They have good variety in cask beers but don’t worry they have some cans in fridge for craft beer lovers. Very reasonable prices. Good staff and friendly service specially when you order on app. Nice beer garden.

Ordered double American cheese burger, I got a single, returned, then got double cheeseburger with no cheese ,overcooked and dry.

Was just wondering is the food supposed to be either Luke warm or cold. Bar staff seem to be miserable all the time and just watched them actually walking over knives and forks on the floor by the bar for a least 5 minutes before anyone picked them up. It isn't particularly that busy in here today either.

Love this place. So friendly with good food at good prices.

Very busy, food was as expected, tasty and quick. Tables very sticky though, didn't see much cleaning anywhere there!

Brought wrong order out then sausages missing from the brunch. Out of the 3 meals only one was correct so waiting around to eat while the correct meal went cold

Very poor range of beer on tap. I dont expect to have to buy a can cos there's nothing decent on tap. Sticky table. Slow service at bar. Didn't enjoy visit.

Popped in here to have a meeting with my supervisor, on entrance was surprised by how busy it was for 11am, had a little look at the menu and was actually pleasantly surprised by the prices. Everything is cheap and cheerful. If I was not on a work meeting and the fact I had to drive home, I would have had a drink lol. Nice atmosphere, check it out it's great :)

Called in for breakfast. Very good value, £17.50 for 2 adults and 2 children. Portion sizes good, as was the bottom less tea/coffee/chocolate. Good selection of dishes. Will go again

I had egg shell in my food and did not get the food I asked for. The service was quite poor from both servers we had today I found them to be quite rude. The food taste great though, when I got what I asked for.

Cane for quick lunch. Ordered on app- drinks and food arrived promptly. I had fish and chips and husband had cauliflower/ spinach curry. Both meals were of a very good standard and tasty! Also cost was £22 for meals plus drink each so exceptional value! Probrably twice the price elsewhere! Service was excellent-😃 thankyou team wetherspoon @ Deal! 👍👍👍

It's a Spoons, cheap drink, average food, usual lack of atmosphere. Staff good though.

It's a OK place good prices on food and beer not to keen on the rear of premises as its all neon and quite cold and there is a constant draft which if you are sat in the right place your food will go cold very quickly, I stress this is not the fault of the employees who try their best.

One of the cleanest Spoons I've visited. And that includes the customers.

Amazing value breakfast and plenty of coffee for just over £4. Costs nearly £4 just for a mediocre coffee in Starbucks,

Bud light at £1.99 a pint is a bargain. Really busy here from 1200-1400. Lots of people coming in but no tables available. We got a table by the door & there was a constant flow of people. Really popular with families and the elderly folk. Kids were running around, screaming & dodging in and out of the tables. We even had passers by banging on the windows (children). Pretty classy place. Loved the Norman Wisdom references. Number 72. Won't be back though.

Why put chairs on tables 2 and a half hours before closing? You are deterring customers FFS

A great choice of gins for a gintastic price.Tried the Bathtub gin which knocked my socks off. Delicious. Delicious new Korean food added to menu.

A reasonable pub with a variety of seating options. At the front the cafe style seating gives views of the outside. In the middle the pub is more cozy. At the back the bar opens out into a high ceilinged eating drinking area. The pizza and curry served were good. This also has a reasonable selection of real ales.

Food was hot but have had better chips. Scampi were kind of gritty.

9 September, noon. The app doesn't work and "no fish and chips today, mate". what a shame!

We used the Pub for retirement reunions. The outside space is great in the summer and autumn. Good food and drink at very sensible prices.

Just your average Spoons (that is not a criticism). You know what you're going to get - standard pub food, and a good selection of drinks, at very affordable prices.

I don't mind wetherspoons .. for cheap drinks and although the food is not the best quality you wouldn't expect it at their prices. I really like they reuse old buildings with careful restoration reserving many original features.

Well I discovered the £1.90 pint and even for spoons this is cheap. I liked the size of the space and the vibes were not bad.

Great value and serves a sector of the community that deserve a beer or eat out now and again, friendly staff , great prices , interesting locations .

Euro football finals day. Popped in for dinner. Food is quick and ok. As with all fast food cafés and restaurants, the customer turnover is fast and high and therefore the little things get missed, like cleaning the floor beneath the tables of food from earlier customers and wiping down the tables. Otherwise ok.

Staff very helpful and tables cleaned straight away ,good food and drinks ,good to take my family if you don't want to spend a fortune 😁

I quite like Spoons and admire their enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit, but I draw the line on the invention of the "Stone Cold Big Breakfast". Everything on the plate was stone cold, which means it was cooked some time before I ordered it or the kitchen is a different town. I will say the service was good and the pub in general looked clean and tidy but the breakfast was an Iceberg that could have sunk the Titanic.

You can’t really beat it can you? Atmosphere, cheap drinks if you’re smart, what else could you ask for in my opinion. Everyone should go to deal spoons, it’s a must do for all locals and travellers alike.

Typical Weatherspoons in that you know what they serve and how it works. Went here to meet up with friends for lunch. Had nice lunch (I had Lemon and herb chicken with mash, peas and gravy) and pudding (millionaires shortbread - a bit small!) and then stayed chatting for hours. No one moved us on even though we did not buy anymore drinks.

I've been working abroad for many years and returned back to area for 6 months in between contracts. Spoons in Deal is lovely safe place staff are great. Nat. George & Pete are especially friendly and welcoming they are a great asset to the business.

It's a weather spoons. Can't complain. Prices good. Service good and food good. Wasn't wow amazing but was as expected. Would go back. Seemed clean and looked trendy. Not too busy.

Popped in for some food and drinks with the family. The place was filthy, disorganised and staff hygiene is questionable at best.

We have visited this Wetherspoons before but were disappointed with the burgers this time. My beefburger was tasteless and burnt. The chicken was better. Service was quick but led me to believe that the food was prepared in a hurry. The staff were friendly. The toilet facilities were good.

Typical Weatherspoons, food well priced, served quickly and efficiently. Choice of cask beers at very reasonable price. Not the place for fine dining but when needs must they are O.K.
