Very nice location, with lovely low priced breakfast. I would say though that they advertise as "dog friendly", however that is only for the outside are. Can be a bit misleading

Excellent food had a Sunday roast fresh vegetables, lamd that melted in our mouth and gravy that was as good as mine.

Lovely food and service this afternoon ! Food come out within 10 minutes of ordering and was delicious. We ordered the smashed burgers which tasted better than any other I’ve tried before. Great service from Dianne, Danielle and Ellie.

Decent food, shines on sunny days with a pleasant atmosphere. The bonus of free parking makes it a worthwhile visit.

My wife and I have just had a very nice meal, the food was very fresh and tasted lovely.

We go regularly on Fridays, and the entertainment and atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommended. Come and have a look xx

We have been here for breakfast and lunch several times and the food has always been good as is the service. Today, however, had to ask for the menus after waiting quite a while for someone to serve us. We had brunch which was really not good at all. It was very greasy and the bacon looked as though it had been cooked on a dirty grill. We were so disappointed as we've never had a bad meal here before. I hope it was just a one off.

I can't praise this venue enough.... they recently hosted our Christmas party for 40 staff. The food was outstanding!! The family who run it are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will be returning next Christmas 🎁

ago Christmas party night We went as they advertised a Christmas party night expecting a party night with entertainment but only being told in the morning on the day after a week of ringing and be told there would be I messaged to find out Saturday morning no entertainment and only 2 party tables booked so on arrival we put in there conservatory room on our own when we complained moved us where I guess more than a few tables was there Christmas party night in annexe the girl who moved the cutlery and crackers from table in conservatory was unbelievable rude to lay up in the other part for us and then to top it of the food was either burnt,cold or frozen wouldn't recommend anyone to go there Show less

Worst Sunday lunch I have ever had. Don't know why people are saying its nice, I can assure you it wasn't and not to waste your money. The experience wasn't great either moody waitress and rude. The Waitresses where shouting at each other across the restaurant it was obvious they where arguing. Run by clowns.

They fitted us in for Sunday lunch at short notice. The service was excellent and the serving staff were helpful and cheerful. Although they were full including a huge birthday party our food came quickly and it was delicious.

Good selection of items and size : 4*, 6* or 9* from selection of bacon, sausage, egg, beans, plum tomatoes, hash brown, mushrooms, black pudding and fried bread. Cup of tea or coffee, plus toast included. Great value! Three eating areas: main indoor, conservatory and covered outdoor. Highly recommended! 🙂👍

Have been attending here for a while for breakfast or Sunday lunch, always a delight but I have to say this Sunday was outstanding. The garlic mushrooms hand on heart were best I’ve ever tasted, so much flavour, the beef was stunning, the whole dinner was cooked beautifully. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the girls were superb as usual. Will see you next week!!

Decided to have a breakfast for the first time and was very surprised with how good it was! All cooked to perfection and the price was very reasonable too! Also lovely seating areas with great views. This is now my go to place for breakfast, and will also try their other food. Excellent!

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice cooked breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Good food, very reasonably priced. Once the initial order is made and the food delivered, the service was a bit unreliable and we had to chase up further tea/coffee orders, but this was the only negative point. Lovely view over Swanbridge bay, good food and good value for money. We'll definitely be back.

Nice food, service was good however due to seating position we had to constantly walk around to get a waiter to assist.

Visited this restaurant for Mothers Day. Made all our issues the the manager on duty. Their response was that they were busy. As it was bookings only, they made themselves busy and put money before customer experience and food quality.

5 of us had Sunday lunch there, service was very slow, they got the orders wrong, prawn cocktails were disappointing, the cheesecakes were tiny and the apple crumble and custard was just a soggy mush and was inedible ! In fairness the roast dinner was very nice. Disappointing experience.

First port of call on my day off for a Breakfast with the Mrs Fab food / location 😀

We were sat for 40 minutes before drinks were brought to us. It was an hour before they even brought our starters out. We asked for the children's dinners to come out with our starters, we were told no problem, yet our starters came with no sign of the children's dinners. A 4 and a 6 year old sat at a table for over an hour without any food was hard work as you can imagine. I felt I couldn't eat with the children sat there without theirs so I waited. By the time the children's dinners came out they were really hungry so had eaten half of my starter. They finally had their dinner then had their deserts, with no sign of our mains. After 2 hours of sitting there having only had starters although our children had finished, we decided enough was enough and left. It was hard enough keeping 2 young children sat for that length of time, let alone them waiting for us to have dinner and desert as well. It was insult to injury that staff kept fussing over one table who must have known them, and even had the chefs at the table talking to them when they should have been in the kitchen cooking our food! Very, very poor service! We only paid for what we had, but still came to £46.70 for 2 children's meals and deserts, 2 adult starters, 2 beers, a bottle of wine, and 2 pints of lemonade (even though we only asked for half pints). Safe to say we didn't even think about leaving a tip! The staff apologised as we left, but as my partner pointed out to them; they obviously weren't bothered as they didn't take anything off the bill as an apology. This is a great place to go to if you want your food several hours after you're booked in for it, and like shoddy service!

Best quality breakfast in South Wales. Being retired we ride our scooters to a cafe somewhere in South Wales every week and this is the best breakfast we've had.The 9 item breakfast is amazing.

Just come from the restaurant. Appaling service. Went there at 12.20pm there for over two hours . Starter came with two tiny pieces of bread for the pate and garlic mushrooms could get no attention. Mains took 30 mins after finished starters. 3 mains wrong. Then we get the bill with 2 drinks not ours with no sorry. POOR POOR POOR. Never again!!

Its was a drizzly February lunchtime and some staff hadnt turned up so the one poor girl was working very hard. To the point of not listening to the drinks order carefully. Food was tasty and varied.

A lovely outlook from our table. 4 of us had lovely meals on a wet February Wednesday lunchtime. We were sat in the conservatory which was not too cold. We each had fish and chips, a mixed grill, haddock and mash, and the gammon and chips. All meals were perfectly cooked. The waitress was doing her best despite being on her own to which she apologised. She brought us our drinks within 5 mins and we didn't have to wait too long for the meals. A nice experience and will definitely return in the warmer weather when I believe they open the conservatory windows.

Very disappointed with the service last week very slow service and the food took over 50 minutes to arrive wasn't pleased with the amount of food on the plate was very disappointed with it all will not be returning for a while, as it used to be absolutely amazing food and drink. slow service and small portions and wasn't pleased at All Had to ask the waiter 2 times for the food and drinks. hope you improve it all soon very sad to leave this constrictive review. Edit: to the owner the service we received was extremely slow service I understand that we have had a different 2 years. however that shouldn't effect the customer service we received and the food was poor with the portions. Unfortunately due to this I will not be returning for a while.

Held the wake for mums funeral here and I was very glad I did. The room was perfect for what we needed. The buffet provided was really lovely( thank you Sue.) and the staff on the day were all great. I would highly recommend this place for any function you're thinking of. They're breakfasts are petty awesome too. A lovely place in a lovely location. See you all soon.

I went to your place to have fish and chips it wasn.t very nice the fish not taste like fish. The batter the colour is disgusting, the place was cold you did.nt clean the table after the last customers and you left a dirty knife on the table it was.n.t ours. so my mam and dad and I is not comming to your place again bye forever Louise pricexxx ps this is not a 5 star it's a 1 star

Looking for a restaurant with sea views? good food super staff. Then visit the seashore grill . parking no problem . Sundays /full lunches served drink wisely you have to go home . Take care chrys.

Booked table for 4 at 2pm, 2 days prior .Arrived on time, 40 mins in, had to beckon waitress to order drinks/ take our order for dinner & dessert. Waited until 3.30, then were told ' sorry for delay, large party in other room being served 1st'. Meals arrived approx 10mins after, 1 measly slice pork on each plate, hard cauli, food not hot, NOT USUAL STANDARD. Waiting for dessert, had to go to bar to enquire, a different waitress came and asked what we ordered, clearly we were forgotten.again ! Another waitress came, took order 2nd time, Desserts arrived 5mins later, Custard was lumpy and congealed.. Funnily enough, bill arrived very swiftly- no apology, although we werent looking for recompence, none was offered for what was clearly a shoddy service from start to finish.

Very disappointed. Very poor customer service. My niece booked and paid a deposit for refreshments following my brother’s funeral yesterday but they telephoned late on Sunday afternoon to cancel our booking which meant at this late hour we had to find another venue. Fortunately, we did and I extend my grateful thanks to the Cwm Talwg Pub and Restaurant where the excellent staff there did an excellent buffet at very short notice and were welcoming, friendly and courteous. Seashore Grill that is the way to run a business.

I have been here unfortunately for 2 funeral wakes however both times the staff and food were amazing. The spread they put on was filling and good quality food. Would highly recommend, also in a beautiful location.

Food is absolutely awful. Signature Burger!!! had better in mcdonalds. Burger burnt, just lettuce slapped in the bun, extra £1.00 charge for cheese, what cheese could barely see . This place needs a new chef !! Just seen the response from the owner Wow.!!!! No didn't speak to server, put our food down, didn't come back to the table. We had to get our own serviettes as she didn't bother to give us any. The other order was chicken and chorizo baguette, that actually was chicken and Salami!!!. Your place also needs a good clean. Seems you respond politely to good reviews, such a shame used to be a lovely place. We also went to your roof terrace, absolutely filthy, cigarette buts everywhere. Like I said needs a good clean

Thank you Seashore Grill for our fab Ruby Wedding Anniversary party. The function room size was ideal for our 55 guests and the lovely weather made the seaside location a perfect setting. The buffet was delicious and beautifully laid out, and very good value per head. We were very well looked after by Jade and the team and thank you for allowing our ukulele band to play during the afternoon. Only thing I would suggest is that you jazz up your written buffet menu choices a bit as it was much better than we thought it would be from the description - maybe add a photo so people can see how good the buffet is. Brilliant! I’d definitely arrange a function with you again, thank you!

Been here three times in last few months. First time was great but the second two times had a very long wait for food. Once the curry I had ordered wasn't available but only told 45 minutes after order placed. I was refunded for the replacement korma which was fairly horrible. The most recent time ordered a veggie burger. Was not told by staff or on the menu this would take longer to cook. Food took nearly an hour. People next to us arrived after us, ordered after us and two of the same dishes (scampi and fish and chips) and had finished theirs before ours arrived. We did ask the waiting staff about the wait (who are fairly elusive) and one said ours would be next out of the kitchen. Which was not true as we saw other food going out before ours. I don't know if it was just bad luck twice but won't be back, sadly.

Friendly and Affordable and a great view across to Sully Island which is a short walk for the brave, watch the tides mind you. For the less daring there is a good walk to Lavernock with views of Flatholm and Steepholm. Ideal for an evening drink as well. Parking at the rear accessed through the Caravan Park.

A Very pleasant and accommodating experience for our family who went above and beyond to situate the 11 of us including a bulky wheelchair. Moved us when the initial seating was awkward. We came late and some things ran out but they adjusted the bill to again accommodate us. The food was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Lovely settings overlooking the sea, nice food , we had a Sunday lunch and it was very nice. Everyone welcome even though it is on a caravan park. Worth a visit.

Very good value for a bigger than average fish and chips, and the steak was good as well. Great view and service. I would have gone five star but the table was a little sticky.

The Seashore Grill provided the buffet for the wake following my Mother in Law’s funeral. I have to say we were very pleased in every respect. The food was well prepared and nicely presented and tasty as well as warm when intended to be. There was more than enough for those present and indeed for many of us it proved to be sufficient for our main meal of the day and considering that it was supposed to be a finger buffet I felt the portions were very generous. The buffet was reasonably priced and I would recommend this venue for any similar events. The room was the right size for the numbers attending and it has the added attraction of views over the Bristol Channel. On this occasion the weather was dry and bright allowing the last few who attended the opportunity to sit and have a final drink on the roof garden to further enjoy the view. Highly recommended.

Food good, one of our guests was a little late and myself and my one friend arrived early. Waitress was repetitively asking when we cd eat .... I appreciate that they have schedules.... luckily my friend running late arrived and is a regular which made things a lot more relaxed.
