Went here for Saturday lunch, as it was more convenient for everyone. Sadly they had stopped doing Cod Roe (not a common thing down here) but had battered sausage and chips instead and I have to say it was really nice. Fresh chips and fresh batter on the sausage. Good Value for price. 10/10 would recommend.

Over priced, pretentious, soggy chips if they could afford them. Chips are not a major inflationary item, with these people they must be. Fish was skinny and over battered. We had about a third of what we bought and put the rest in the bin. Never again, horrible!!!

Picked up ½ Chicken and Chips. Young lady that served greeted me with a smile. Was surprised that I didn’t have to wait too long as the chicken was already cooked. Drove home thinking it would be dry but it was lovely and moist and the chips were delicious too!

£15for an average size cod and chips claiming to be large. Gone in a couple of minutes OK food but this isn't a luxury item. Absolute ripoff don't go there.

Shere LaneWe had hoped to give The Bray a 5 star review, but were not given the opportunity to complete our lunch today, so overall it's a 2 star. We booked on their website for a 2pm lunch and opted for a lighter main course, mentioning to the waitress that we would like to leave room for dessert. We enjoyed the warm sandwiches and asked to order dessert, but were informed that the kitchen staff had all left and they were taking no further orders. We had been seated for under an hour. There was no warning given that the kitchen closed at 3pm, no mention on the menu and nothing on the booking page of their website. The staff did not offer dessert or coffee, they seemed totally disinterested in the fact that we had been ready to order for the last 20mins. There was no apology given. Not the best customer service.

89 Oak HillWe called in for supper on our way to where we were staying for the night. The pub was small and quiet, but friendly. The one staff member on duty was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We only had burgers but they were well cooked and fresh and the chips were amazing!
