Went here for Saturday lunch, as it was more convenient for everyone. Sadly they had stopped doing Cod Roe (not a common thing down here) but had battered sausage and chips instead and I have to say it was really nice. Fresh chips and fresh batter on the sausage. Good Value for price. 10/10 would recommend.

Over priced, pretentious, soggy chips if they could afford them. Chips are not a major inflationary item, with these people they must be. Fish was skinny and over battered. We had about a third of what we bought and put the rest in the bin. Never again, horrible!!!

Picked up ½ Chicken and Chips. Young lady that served greeted me with a smile. Was surprised that I didn’t have to wait too long as the chicken was already cooked. Drove home thinking it would be dry but it was lovely and moist and the chips were delicious too!

£15for an average size cod and chips claiming to be large. Gone in a couple of minutes OK food but this isn't a luxury item. Absolute ripoff don't go there.

The pub is looking good since refurbishment but unfortunately due to no soft furnishings the noise level is huge so difficult to have a conversation

The wife and I have never been before although it's on our doorstep, living within a short drive away and what an experience it was. We arrived to sample the sunday roast dinners. Firstly the staff were incredible and very accommodating, would strongly recommend booking a table before visiting. The bar itself has a very wide range of beers, larger, ciders. Onto the food, it simply didn't disappoint, it was magnificent. Wife said it was the best roast she has had in while. Hats off to the chef it was divine. We arrived slightly earlier then our booked table reservation and after ordering the roasts were brought to the table within 10-15mins, not very long in comparison to how busy the restaurant was. Ordered our deserts and again arrived within good time from ordering. The whole experience was just wonderful, the management are very lucky to have such wonderful and professional staff under them and they all work together so well. Would strongly recommend the cyder house inn, it's also dog friendly.

My partner and I ordered a Sunday roast £24 each the portions are far too small for that price. The chef also needs to learn how cook potatoes. No organisation in pub either when it came to running the place. Poor show. Staff not trained properly. The pub couldn’t produce an itemised receipt. Really nice pub just poorly managed

We called in for supper on our way to where we were staying for the night. The pub was small and quiet, but friendly. The one staff member on duty was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We only had burgers but they were well cooked and fresh and the chips were amazing!
