We attended to work from here for a couple of hours. Coffee is nice and reasonably priced and a the same goes for the range of snacks available too. The WiFi was not working properly when we were there, but understand this was an issue out of their control

Overpriced. I was in the area for business and stopped for a quick bit and coffee. £8 for a small takeaway coffee and horrendously burnt and therefore inedible sausage roll.

Went for drinks and to meet a friend. Decided to have a Lemon and Ginger tea. Unfortunately it was the weakest L&ag tea that I have ever tasted and very weak. I took it back to the counter to be told it was fresh weekly, my cup was refilled with water as a compensation, thus giving me an even weaker cup, I have been going to Saints for years, well before COVID. Am extremely disappointed.

Coffee was hot and wet but that’s about it. I had a take away white Americano that was disappointingly weak. £3 I won’t be wasting again. This is sad as their coffee used to be great and worth a detour.

Very expensive! I can see why the wraps and cakes don’t display prices! The WiFi did not work but if it did it’s 2.4g. When raised with staff there was no concern, no interest. Very disappointing experience.

I am a regular at Saints and it is by far my favourite coffee shop. The decor is just incredible and the coffee is wonderful, much better than many other coffee shops in the area. It is also great as there are many options for different age groups, so it is targeted at everyone. The fact that downstairs, there is an area to work with charger ports is very useful as it means you can enjoy a coffee wilst also getting some work done.

Bland coffee. Over priced. No better than your usual high street chain coffee places if you like that type of coffee. Don’t be fooled by the busy crowd. Mostly elderly people with taste of weak coffee

I visited this coffee shop today for the first time but won’t be returning. That’s not because I didn’t enjoy my coffee or my sons didn’t enjoy their drinks or cookies but because the male member of staff serving this afternoon was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Granted we arrived 20 mins prior to closing time, but being welcomed with an abrupt “we’re closing soon” despite his female colleague saying it wasn’t a problem for us to sit and have our drinks, was rather off putting. But he didn’t stop there. Halfway through our drinks he slammed the front door and again abruptly said to me “we’re closed now” even though he’d clearly heard his colleague say to us it was ok for us to finish our drinks. We even heard one of their contractors who was present at the time pull him up and say you shouldn’t speak to a customer like that. What a shame as I’ve heard lots of good things about this coffee shop and have wanted to visit for some time but if you can’t be polite to your customers then you don’t deserve to have any. There are plenty of other good coffee shops in Maidenhead and I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Such a great space both upstairs and downstairs, just a shame it’s so overpriced. 50p is the biggest surcharge for decaf I’ve ever seen, making a regular flat white £3.70. The herbal teas don’t even come with a pot, just a mug, which again at £3 is too pricey. If you’re working there just see it as the price you pay for renting the space out I guess!

I recently moved to Maidenhead from East London where places like this were in abundance and so glad I found this place. The coffee is great quality, perfectly made every time and full of flavour. The staff were very friendly and looked like they enjoyed working there. I think I’ve found my new regular haunt.

This cafe is in a great location. I have visited a few times while I have been out walking with a friend or with family. The coffee is good but I'm always shocked at the prices though. Not sure how they can justify what they charge for a "large" coffee that would be classed as a small everywhere else. 50p extra for decaf and another 50p for non dairy milk makes for a very expensive coffee. Come on guys at least make your cups a little bigger!

I was so delighted when this cafe opened and it is a welcome addition to the area. However it is a continued annoyance that the large takeaway coffee cup would be considered a small size in any other coffee shop. The measure is so small and it’s finished before you know it. At £3.20 it is ridiculously overpriced.

Having been avid fans of Saints since its opening week, we have been extremely disappointed in our recent visits. We have always loved the coffee but it's no longer consistent added to which the prices appear to have risen by more than 10% and now compare with or exceed a lot of London cafes. To add insult to injury, decaffinated coffees are now incurring a 50p surcharge making a large latte cost a whopping £3.70.

The decor was very simple but it felt warm and friendly. Service was also surprisingly fast as there were quite a few people. We had soup, it was hot, served with some bread and it was delicious. Small, bijou little cafe in the St Marks Area of Maidenhead (there's nothing else nearby) serving mainly coffee shop fare: hot and cold drinks, cakes and pastries and a few savoury items but they do it all very well. What I like is that the staff are mainly youngsters who are clearly enthusuastic and pleased to be working somewhere with a little bit of cred.

Been there twice now and not sure it sits right with me. Second time the coffee was much better (cortado, it was good), but couldn’t bring myself to go for anything to eat for a couple of reasons: last time I went I had a selection of cakes - every single one was far too sweet. Sickly. Everything is also exposed. They cover it in plastic but it’s just not right. Glass domes would help and aren’t expensive. I think my problem is that the cafe looks like an eco-type place but it just isn’t (and I so want it to be). No healthy food options (like Fego or even Pret’s). No healthy cakes (I only bake healthy cakes (wholewheat, less or no sugar, lots of protein and fruit) and the kids don’t even notice the difference now - so it can be done). And plastic just isn’t the way nowadays. So it has potential, but it’s not there yet.

Saints was recommended to my wife and I, knowing we like good quality coffee and being keen to try out new places. Living in Maidenhead, we've previously had to drive over to Marlow to enjoy a good coffee (Coopers is consistently good and the staff there are lovely there as well) but now we have somewhere within 5 minutes from home. They've sensibly chosen to partner with a local roaster in Coopers and on each of the first three occasions we've been so far (and will definitely continue to if the quality of the coffee and service is maintained) we've been really happy with our drinks. There's also a nice, chilled atmosphere which is what you want on a weekend. Yet to try the food, other than a sourdough loaf we've bought. This was really good though so bodes well for the quality of their baked offerings.

I don’t normally review coffee shops but on this occasion I really want you to know my feedback. You’re on my doorstep and I’d love you to be my favourite coffee shop. I spend many mornings sat in local coffee shops, I have a bit of a coffee addiction (and maybe a pastry one too), so I feel my review will be of some use to you. I visited soon after it opened and was impressed with the decor and layout. Your staff were so friendly, I got far more than the usual pleasantries, they were really chatty which is great for making people feel welcome. The cakes and sandwiches looked amazing, however I resisted having one as you didn’t have skinny milk ( I tell myself it’s ok to have a treat if I get a skinny coffee). I ordered a latte and a cappuccino and watched the barista go to work on my order. I was disappointed to see that the same milk jug was used to make both coffees. The cappuccino weighed the same as the latte which it shouldn’t do. The little sugar station was nice and tidy but lacked a bin so I had to hand my rubbish to the barista. I drank the latte which was ok but my friend found the cappuccino undrinkable as it was far too milky. I hoped this was a one off and ventured back a couple of days later with my husband. Unfortunately the same thing happened again, he said his cappuccino was just like warm milk. I noticed a previous review mention the same milk jug being used for their coffees, I’m glad I’m not the only one this annoys. I tried again the following week in the hope the barista had changed his coffee making style. Unfortunately the barista was off so a staff member made the coffee, it has to be up there with one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had. Don’t be disheartened by your first couple of trip advisor reviews not being 5 stars, you have the potential to be excellent. I love that you use coopers beans, I was one of their first ever customers and like yourselves they had teething problems but are now one of the best coffee shops locally. I also love bakedd and from what I’ve seen you are on par with their selection of tasty food. I will be back and when the coffee is up to scratch you will definitely get another review with 5 stars.

Saints Cafe just opened about three weeks ago, and adds a much needed cafe to the Maidenhead coffee scene. Newly built on St Marks Road with a novel recycled design the team are trying hard to bring coffee culture to the suburbs of Maidenhead. The cafe looks to be a hit and has been packed out most times that I have gone for my latte. Coffee is great when the Barrista is in residence but not so great when he is off duty. A good selection of cakes, pastries and sandwiches means that you can get far more than just a coffee or speciality tea. Few teething problems to resolve. Cakes need to be covered as they are drying out by PM, as do the sandwiches. Nothing except the drinks are priced and service can get confused when the place is busy. Get these things right and this cafe will give Bakedd a run for its money. The concept is spot on, there just needs to be a little more attention to detail and customer attention.

The break I needed. After 2 and a half years of constant upheaval I knew where to come. Originally booking for the Wagyu I espied the specials board and went for the delicious apple and coriander soup, followed by a fantastic Beef Wellington, which I recommended to other diners and they did not need a second invitation. The pastry fell away from a beautiful cut of meat, and this all with super mash and so tasty gravy. Full, I thought, I needed a little time before I could tackle the 5 cheeses board all accompanied by appropriate red wine, LBV port and a liqueur coffee, Superb preparation for my 4 day holiday in Devon - I could not have asked for a better preparation. Thank you!
