Went for breakfast Ordered it Then told Don’t take card There’s a cash machine at the petrol station half a mile up the road In this day and age Cash only!!!!!

Fantastic find, a cafe providing good quality food, quickly and efficiently served in a clean and comfortable environment

I had a fantastic full English breakfast after a long cycle from Surbiton, via Box Hill. Really friendly, clean, great and quick service, really good, freshly cooked, hot food, excellent coffee. My wife had a delicious mushroom omelette, before driving me home!

Great cafe with excellent coffee. Visited with my young child and we both loved our food. It’s quality fresh food. Nice atmosphere too & plenty of places to park.

Service is always quick, clean and polite. They only take cash, remember that, but there’s a cashpoint half a mile down the road in the Shell station . Free parking outside available for cars and large lorries up to 7.5 ton . There is 8” high a step to get into the cage so wheelchair access is zero . There’s not many GF options here, but there’s a few bits. The filter coffee is great . It’s not the cheapest cat around, but the standard and quality is high enough to justify the price point .

Having been to this cafe a few times over the years, we were looking forward to some brunch today. However I was mortified when I went to use the ladies toilet, I saw a member of staff walk out of the toilet cubicle WITHOUT washing her hands and straight back into the kitchen!! Then I watched the same lady putting food in her mouth whilst preparing food in the kitchen! We now both have stomach aches. Disgusting hygiene and will never visit again!!

Standard of food here is always consistent and high quality. Not many GF options so beware. Good atmosphere, quick service, super clean and comfortable seating. Their normal filter coffee is top notch. It’s quite expensive for a breakfast compared to other cafes locally and they don’t accept card, cash only. Plenty of parking to the side and we’ll worth a visit as you won’t be disappointed.

A well run cafe with friendly service and wholesome home cooking. The coffee is excellent and it positions itself as a place for breakfast and lunch only. Bring an appetite as the portions are generous with a wide choice of dishes. The only drawback here, and becoming more common of late, is cash only payments. I’m a fan of places like these, as they are relatively affordable and good quality. It gets busy so don’t forget your cash!

They only take cash, read into that what you will. I mean, come on, guys? Now off to find somewhere for coffee that knows we are in 2023.

Cash only? 2022 Why would a cafe on the main road nowhere near a cash point but opposite a business park only use cash and no card Tax dodging is only reason I run multiple companies and card is key these days

Food was ok; a few chips, two egg, bacon, mushrooms and a small mug of tea which was from a topped up teapot. £9.50! Rather on the expensive side for a greasy spoon cafe! No cards either, only cash! Join the 21st century!

The food is amazing and varied depending on whether I want a healthy option, lite option or total pig out option! The venue is clean and staff so friendly. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else

Great cafe , well staffed with plenty of homemade and healthier options ,if you don’t want a pig out fry up , large dining area , tables are all ways clean, and you can park , always a bonus

Very disappointed today as I have previously been happy with the food at this venue that’s why I have returned, I ordered a bacon roll and a tea to have in Which I was charged £4.50 which I thought was a bit steep as it had gone up by a pound from last time but I thought they do a nice bacon roll, only to find when served a 30p roll and one piece of economy bacon a right ripoff when I spoke to the waitress she said that was there policy , £1.80 for the tea £2.70 for the roll, got my money back will not be going back there again 😡

An excellent cafe - came here by chance and a real gem. Food and service were first class. Cash only venue. Plenty of free parking

Party of 6 stopped for breakfast on the way to a golf break. It was a great find . Food was hot and fresh and the friendly service was brilliant. Best breakfast I’ve ever had in a cafe and couldn’t recommend it highly enough

Popped in for a quick lunch , good choice of food, nice attentive staff. The place was clean and well maintained. The coffee was the best and not at coffee shop ripe off prices. Would certainly visit again.

Clean cafe with friendly staff and tasty food. I recently had a full breakfast, which was prepared quickly and cooked well. All very tasty and at a decent price. Would gave preferred fresh tomatoes to tinned, but maybe that's just me. I will be going again!

Breakfast served by cheerful staff. Light and airy place with good food , delicious bacon and an excellent cup of tea.

Came here on Saturday 25th May around 1pm. Plenty of parking outside and loads of tables free (inside or out) although still busy. very friendly staff and very clean. Food was lovely and highly recommended. thank you

After having purchased a car from Mercedes Dealer which is a walk away... I asked the sales person " Lewis Irvine " who usually recommends this Cafe to all his customers...My wife and I , had two Ham, egg and chips and to caffe lattes ..and I presume the owner came out and checked if we wanted softer fried eggs ..he would give us another two fresh eggs etc... I used the toilets...and these were clean... A credit to the Hospitality industry... they have delivered what they promised ...:)

We used to go here fairly regularly, there is nothing wrong with the food options and quality of the food, I would give that a very good 4.5/5. The only thing we found is that the prices are fairly high for a cafe. We now go to another cafe in Caterham.

Lovely local cafe with varied menu, we've mainly had fried breakfasts and bacon rolls, staff are lovely, kitchen is open plan and all kept very clean. My only gripe would be for more healthy choices, I know it is a cafe but it is 2019 now and most places offer cleaner and healthier options, even if it is just an avocado!

Fast polite staff. Food as always been good. Lots of sporting photos Will miss this cafe when this contract come to an end.

Great breakfasts, great coffee, nice clean cafe retro atmosphere. Run by a very efficient group of ladies. If you are in the area and need food .....look no further. Love it.

My husband and I tried this cafe for the first time the other day for breakfast and thought the food was great! They have a wide variety to choose from, they also serve breakfast all day. The staff were friendly and helpful and service with a smile which is always a bonus. There is free parking for 1 hour which was enough time for us. Make sure though to bring cash with you! It’s not fancy inside nor is the food, but if you just want some yummy comfort food then you will not be disappointed, definitely give it a try!

Usually I don’t forget to go this cafe as they serve super all day breakfast !! Good staff and good good. Only disadvantage is they don’t take contactless so make sure to take enough money to enjoy 😃

He estado yendo pasado este impecablemente café ordenado en mi camino de Londres por casi dos años. . . . . Y siempre hemos sido tentados. Me viene a Londres tarde hoy, y estaba perfectamente sincronizada de una parada para el almuerzo.

Las mujeres que llevan el Rendezvous Cafe dirigido un barco, que ofrece un buen servicio ajustado y un café limpio. Ambos son recompensados con la popularidad del lugar.

Too expensive but clean and well presented but very much overpriced, it's a cafe at Ritz prices. Lower prices and see more customers returning and you will earn more money.

Used to be very good but think it's overpriced and not that good anymore. Would go along the road into Caterham itself and there are a couple of other much nicer cafes and coffee shops there.

Really nice cafe, if your hungry you can't go wrong. The place is spotless and the staff are always friendly.

Como mujer y madre de 3 hijos encontrar una cafetería que está impecable, tiene aseos limpio, personal amable y comida de buena calidad es una rareza en estos días! Fuimos pasando de camino a casa desde el aeropuerto de Gatwick y tenía un fabuloso desayuno cocinado. El tamaño de las porciones eran enormes y la calidad de salchichas y bacon era realmente bueno. Yo soy muy exigente en mi comida y me gustó mucho. Sin duda hacer la media hora de viaje de casa para volver aquí, ya que es un auténtico lujo para comer un desayuno bien cocinado en un entorno limpio y con un personal muy amable! Me di cuenta de que la calificación de 5 estrellas de higiene alimentaria muestra también - no veo muchos de esos estos días en cafés! Bien hecho Rendezvous Cafe - volveremos pronto!

Seis de nosotros visitamos el jueves 12 de junio. Enero 4 por primera vez. Los precios en general y especialmente los pasteles eran una ganga. Teníamos llena de sándwiches y panecillos con rellenos, que estaban bastante generoso. Sólo espere unos minutos para que llegue nuestro almuerzo y tomamos unas copas en el lugar - muy rápido. El café era bastante popular entre otros que regularmente.

This cafe very well Run. It is spotless, the food is good, and the staff are lovely. They would get five stars if they could upgrade their sausages. Best cafe in the caterham area.

Nos quedamos atrapados en las duchas del sábado, y el justo antes de que se movía en el Rendezvous Cafe era de proporciones bíblicas. Afortunadamente, nos sirvieron con excelente café y bizcocho victoria igual de buena, con una sonrisa cálida y felicidades por el desafío del clima. Nuestro buceador había llegado allí unos minutos antes de nosotros, y recomienda el desayuno inglés completo. No dejar nada, así que es una buena señal.

Llamado para desayunar en vez de comer en el Travelodge de donde estábamos. Carta amplia, muy limpia y aparcamiento gratuito durante una hora en el exterior. Buenas porciones de tamaño, sabores muy caliente y agradable. Sin duda comer allí si en la zona.

Right next to a busy road but with its own parking at the front, this is a little gem of a place and always full for breakfast. The usual fare but served with a smile. Good coffee too.

Plenty of tables inside and outside, very clean, friendly staff. All day breakfasts delivered very quickly. Hot and tasty. Big portions. Would recommend. Cash only.

One simply cannot beat this place for breakfast.. at any time of day. The Cafe is clean and comfortable and the staff (Polish Maybe?) are so efficient that - in my experience at any rate - they put many native British café workers in the shade.A good selection of food is available.. on this occasion I opted for two fried egg on two toast.. with a cup of tea. Terrific. Just what I was looking for.Some might say that this place is a little pricey.. but I would disagree. There are plenty of staff so the experience is pleasant.. and that doesn't come for free.. you get what you pay for when it comes to staff as well.Free wifi is offered as well which is useful if you need to catch up on your communications while stopping for a break.

This place has decent service, will make something before you arrive if you call them and also well mannered etc. Its on the way to the M25 so you don't have a great deal of choice. They only take cash here though. Value is moderate and if you come here a lot, when you look back on the month, you will have spent a small fortune. It's good stuff though. They custom make stuff too.

Great value, big portions, good grub staff were friendly pity tea was not included in the price my husband and cousin have big appetites and love breakfast and they went away happy

Visited today for brunch, ordered scrambled eggs on toast, order arrived 1 slice of thin white bread and 2 tablespoons of scrambled egg. Very disappointed at the poor quality and serving size. Also very expensive. Would not recommend or visit ever again.

Not sure about the rest of the menu but The Rendezvous does the best full English breakfast in the area. Generous portions, well cooked, quickly served and friendly service. Oh, and free wi-fi as well. The only gripe is that they don't throw in a free cup of tea with the set breakfasts. This does mean it comes in a bit more expensive than other cafes in the area but the quality of the food and the cleanliness and ambience of the cafe make it worth that little bit extra, in my opinion.

Excellent bacon and egg roll, with good, fresh, filter coffee. Very friendly staff, felt welcomed and valued.

Used to be a regular, but moved away. Got a wedding in the area this weekend so will be going to RC for a good meal on Friday PM.

I love places like this, old school cafe not many left but there are some jems and RC is right up there. Very clean and well kept, lots of signed photo's from past sporting legends and you know your somewhere a bit exceptional when your ordering coffee, its "filter or ground", "one shot or two"?, "how crispy do you like your bacon"?, wow great service and attention to detail. Great breakfast offer and could recommend most on the menu, but the Breakfast Bloomer hits the right spot. Not had lunch but am sure thats spot on and also great value. Its my stop off

Really lovely staff. Café is spotless and serves a really good breakfast. Nice option of choice of normal slice or crusty bread! Food served very quickly and tasty! Will be back!

Had travelled along M4 then around M25 early on a Saturday morning so this cafe was a welcome stopping place on A22 as was near my destination. Had the full English breakfast and it was perfect. Excellent service and setting too.
