Raj Vogue in Broxbourne

Food was so tasty. Their naga tikka was so spicy but I love spicy! Was spicier than a vindaloo but all good for me. Biryani was lovely and the keema naan. Nice veg curry too. Thank you will order again. 😊

Came without Pilau Rice, called shop as it was suppose to be with Chicken Tikka, they said they would bring more rice and more Chicken Tikka but wanted the other Tikka one back. No apology. Food was terrible as well. Really bad service and bad quality of food. We will not be ordering from this shop again. We have used this restaurant quite a lot in the past but this service and quality is abysmal.

We ordered quite late, after 9.30pm and the food we received was not as good as it usually is. The chicken tikka masala tasted odd, and it tastes like they had remixed a new batch with an old batch. Really not nice to eat and neither of us finished the meal. The poppadoms were lovely though.

Lovely food, staff very attentive and resanonably priced. Only negative is there omelette dish is rather small for there signature dish, some what of a disappointment.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Hertfordshire! The food is always on point and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. They also do a Sunday buffet and mid-week deal (Mon - Thurs) at an extremely reasonable price. Definitely pay them a visit! x

I have been going here since I was a teenager (for over 15 years now! ) One of the best indian restaurants in my opinion. Great atmosphere, fabulous food! Staff are always so welcoming and friendly. 👍 keep it up guys!

The biryani taste strange. Strange in the mix of spices, the colour was more reddish than yellow, may be a recipe from a different region of India. Could have writen the style that would have helped. I prefer Pakistanis biryani or haderabad biryani. Poppadoms were a bit salty with no dips. The samosas are described as meat and I don't eat lamb but there was lamb in them so was not quite happy. Again no dips for the samosas. Other starters were fine. Curry fine.

90mins wait. Onions burnt, poppadoms burnt, potatoes undercooked, naan undercooked, masala sauce we ordered as a side was frankly disgusting.

Unfortunately I've noticed that the vegan/vegetarian options are usually between 1/3 and 1/2 huge potatoes. The vegetable bhuna was at least half massive potatoes, the saag aloo was at least half potato, and what was unexpected was even the vegetable rice had around 1/3 massive potatoes in it. So unfortunately, whilst I did think this was a great takeaway when I first moved into the area 2 years ago, I will be deciding not to order here any more, I'm not ordering masses of potato for a takeaway that is nearly £50 for 2 people. The service is great and I like the speed of delivery, but I now feel like the food quality is just no good when most of the meal is just bland potatoes

All chicken dishes tasted the same

1st order from here. The bread, mushroom rice and aloo Gobi were great. Unfortunately I ordered 3 different chicken curry’s and they all tasted the same. Garlic chicken had no garlic, chicken madras was more like a Korma and Murghi was more like murky. Won’t be returning business which is a shame as I a local person to the restaurant.

The wrong item was delivered and I advised but haven’t heard anything back. What got delivered was awful really hard chewy lamb instead of chicken

So first time ordering from this place and can say I’m far from impressed, Indian food is something I hold close to one of my top ten and I do love a good tikka masala and mushroom rice but I can’t say that I enjoyed this as all when is a tikka masala suppose to taste overpowered with mint sauce it’s not it’s meant to be a creamy elegant dish with youghurt and coconut milk but very sickly and let me not get started on the mushroom rice very very disappointing never ordering from here again.

Such a wonderful place to visit 😊 Staff are excellent and always smiling and joking. Seats are comfortable with good large tables, that are clean and fresh. As is the whole place. Food is stunning and plentiful. Well presented and won't break the bank 👍😁 This is an excellent venue for parties being bright and spacious with easy parking nearby.

Have been to the restaurant to eat before and been happy so I’d thought I’d try the take away service. Very disappointed. The food was not up to standard. The biryani had bits of burnt onion in it which spoilt the taste. That should not have been sent out to the customer. The chicken was not flavourful. And the naan was cold. Definitely agree with a previous review that they have to up their game.

We have only eaten in the restaurant twice having first visited as part of a promotion with our rugby team - and we immediately switched to here from our previous regular. We have had countless deliveries from Raj Vogue on part usually the same curry - Chicken Naga Chilli - love it. My wife varies her choices more but we have had very little to complain about - once the prawn butterflies were more like shrimp butterflies, but since pointing this out they have always been a good size and then more recently the website took our payment twice but after I rang it was refunded quickly. Delivery service is good, food is always hot and tasty.

Another enjoyable experience at Raj Vogue with a warm reception as we walked in followed by service from friendly and attentive staff. The most delicious food in a traditional Indian restaurant setting with screening well positioned to create a sense of privacy and intimacy. A drink on the house at the end for my wife and I rounded off and very pleasant and relaxed evening.

Would highly recommend this place. Great food and outstanding service. Will definitely come again. 5star

Best Indian food! The food is fragrant, rich, flavourful and cooked to perfection. I’ve been coming to the Raj Vogue for at least 20 years. I’ve tried other Indian restaurants around Cheshunt and they don’t come close to the Raj Vogue and would comfortably say the Raj Vogue is better than any “top” Indian restaurants in London. I now live in London and the main highlight of travelling back to Cheshunt and visiting the parents is coming back to this restaurant for a meal! The lamb Korai is a must… I introduced my fiancé to this place and now she’s always excited to come here when we visit. Keep doing what you’re doing guys!

Friday evening group of 4. Decent food and seemed to be freshly cooked. I had chiken balti and wife had sashlick and there was more meat with these dishes than in our usual indian restaurant and tasted better too. Service was just right as in not too slow and not rushed and staff were accommodating to the various requests.

Always great food. Tonight’s order was missing the pilau rice. We were given plain boiled rice. Not the same without the pilau

Hadn't tried this place before so I thought I'd check it out, had the curry delivered, in all honesty, I thought the food was very average, it was also luke warm. Most people in the UK, know what a good curry should taste like, these kind of restaurants need to up their game.

After twenty years of eating in and orderingbtake sways from the Raj Vogue, I was truly shocked at the appalling attitude of the waiter who served us this evening, reversing my opinion of what had, until tonight, been my favourite local restaurant. When the food was served, one of the dishes was cold. Not lukewarm but out-of-the-fridge cold. When this was pointed out to the waiter, he looked and told us it can't be! When it was pointed out that it was, and to try himself... and quite how can he tell visually (?) He became quite animated and indignant that we had the nerve to comment on the food. We asked for the head waiter - no response. Instead we were told we had sworn at him (we absolutely had not) and, after a few minutes, back came the obviously microwaved dish, sizzling away unlike previously. Personally I would have walked out but my friends wanted to stay. Eventually after 20 minutes the head waiter did come over but what was the point? Nothing was deducted from the £102 Bill and no apology offered. I certainly will not be returning

Food was fantastic, came earlier than expected. Driver was lovely, a little confusion with the bill but was incredibly courteous about it. Food is the tastiest we've had in soooooo long (lived in the area for 20+years) never really found one that ticks all boxes, trying out various other indains, this one got thumbs up from everyone. Previous indians we've had in similar price range has skimped out meat/portion, but not here! Very lovely start to the new year, looking forward for birthday treat or another excuse to order Indian

My husbands prawn korma was very grainy & not saucy at all.

Called for a takeaway ordered mixed grill and I only live 5 minutes from the place collected the order came home and the food was stone cold and under cooked very disappointed had to bin it did not bother contacting them. Won’t be going back there is a hurry . There was blood running from the chicken awful.

Ordered a takeaway from here. The Jalfrezi and Madras were essentially a spicy, runny soup with some veg and a chunks of meat swimming around in it. Didn't taste anywhere near as it should for the price. There are lots of other options for Indian takeaways around the area so I'll be steering clear of this one.
