Very nice food and service, I would recommend you try it.

Always getting orders wrong. Told me to make the order right would take 25-60 minutes. When they are 5 minutes down the road and the original order was made and delivered within 15 minutes. Total waste of time ordering from here.

Thought order was missing but had removed it when adding more, guy on phone sorted quickly, so sorry! Food was great, can't believe other reviews said bland! Even catered to request to make curry extra spicy, pleased with mid week treat

Just had the misfortune of having a delivery tonight….absolutely vile food completely bland and tasteless gone rapidly downhill in my opinion won’t be using them again .

Whether it's eating in or Takeaway. The food is always outstanding. Never had any trouble with my Takeaway orders either.

The rice was ok and the saag aloo was ok but the two curries I ordered tasted exactly the same. CHEFS SPECIAL. Korai and chicken Dupiaza. Definitely won’t order from here again. I can go to cheaper and more local places and get better dishes.

Was full by the time we finished with tasty food and good beer. Not overly full but had a friendly atmosphere. Will go back in near future

Honestly, this place, last time I went they wouldn’t let me take the food home with me! This time they were so rude when I questioned them charging for pickles! We had to leave! We went up the road to a much warmer welcome! Avoid!

We had a takeaway delivered and it was awful !! Without any doubt the worst takeaway we've ever had. The chicken tikkka masala had a very odd taste to it, the chicken was very undercooked and the whole meal was disgusting. The onion Bhaji has changed ( now flat rather than rounded) and had no taste to it at all. We always used Cheshunt Tandoori in the past as it used to be the best, but they've clearly got a new 'chef' and the food as gone from 10/10 to 0/10. !! We ended up throwing it away... NO MORE CHESHUNT TANDOORI FOR US !!

Ordered a takeaway, everything was over done,, probably cooked hours beforehand. Certainly not fresh. Will not be returning…..ever, I generally never leave reviews, but had to on this occasion.

ordering here for months but standard has significantly nose dived, Rice is stale felt like yesterday rice microwaved to save cost, salad was more out dated then my wallpaper, personally think I have a better chance in winning the lottery with cheshunt Tandoori consistency

I tasted their lamb birany and it was excellent. Nice tidy indian restarent and staff are friendly. Whenever I go cheshunt I try to go their restarent for dinner.

Pilau rice and garlic naan good, but the worst chicken tikka massala I've ever had. It was absolutely tasteless - all I could taste was cream, no seasoning at all, in what can only be described as a korma without coconut, or "chicken tikka tasteless". The garlic naan was tasty though.

Thought we'd give it another go n order a takeaway, despite our last one tasting awful. Wishe we hadn't!! It was bland, tasteless, expensive and the chicken tikka chewy ! Absolutely awful, NEVER AGAIN now ! All the years we've been using them and been prepared to pay their higher than most prices for what used to be the best Indian, around , not any more we won't. Overpriced awful food. Bring back the original chef you had that built your reputation for you, before there's nothing left of it.

We ate here last week whilst I was down visiting family. My relatives said it was now owned by the same people who run the Raj Vogue up the road. I have always loved the Raj Vogue but on the last 2 occasions my family have visited there the food has not been up to its usual good standard so they recommended this place. Food was great with good friendly service although it wasn't busy at the time. The decor was a little bright for me and felt much more like a cafe than a restaurant though.

Visited on a Friday night. Have visited once before on a weekday and had the set menu. The food is very nice. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant isn’t overly expensive and the food is better than some of more expensive Indian restaurants close by.

I've been going here for years, but today's curry we had to wait and hour and 1/2 for kept phoning they kept saying it's on its way, finally gets here and it's not even hot, phoned up to complain and they started arguing with me, also curry was dry no sauce, after nearly 15 years going to this Indian, I shan't be going there again

Food was good, however the portions were small. King prawn biriyani was okay. The tandoori mix grill came sizzling and it was delicious. Staff were also friendly and polite.

Really bad takeaway from here. Food was cold, watery n not what we expected from them. Food has gone down hill, better alternatives locally. Wont go back to cheshunt tandoori.

Used to get take away food from here all the time but our last couple have been really bad ! Cold food, badly tasting and poor quality! Very poor, n clearly gone down hill! Never again!

I was staying locally for a few says so had takeaways from this lovely restaurant. I would have had a sit down but was normally in The Red Cow across the road so ordered takeaways for about 10:45pm ... 3 nights on the trot. Each time I had Chicken Vindaloo and special rice which was delicious. The give you some free poppadoms, which is a nice touch. One day I asked for it to be a little hotter and they certainly obliged. Very nice again and very hot. Totally recommend this place. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I gave a great review last year but this last experience will curtail my relationship. I on-line ordered a meal for 8 for 7pm to 7.30pm on New Years Eve costing about £100, and input this on Christmas Day and received an email confirming the order. When nothing had happened by 7.40pm, I rang up and was infiormed that they had no knowledge of my order and were very busy. I decided to still give them the order as I had 7 other very hungry people already at home and waiting.Just after 9.30pm the meal arrived with extra poppadoms etc and some extra Cobras but no apology and no on-line discount that I'd used originally. I wrote to them the next day and have heard absolutely nothing from them so I would have to recommend that you do not use any on-line means to order food from them.

Attended with friends and family after day out in London. Booking not a problem very nice atmosphere food was good with good service. Staff very friendly and costs were reasonable

Food was a bit slow to arrive but this was probably because we were a group of 10. When it did the food was good, really enjoyed it. Also I have an allergy to nuts and seeds, they were very clear when asked what contained these.

Decent food and fair prices - what else would you expect when you go out for dinner? Went there on a Sunday night and all had the Sunday Special for 10.95. It turned out too much for the ladies. The gents had to fight really hard as the portions are generous. Liked it a lot.

Have to say just had one of the best naga curries I have ever had. If you are like me a big curry head but also like to taste what you are eating you have to go here and have the naga curry it’s not only hot but has a lovely fruity back taste. It was just amazing and well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back.

Popped in mid week with a few mates for late evening curry, the special was excellent value (chose anything from the menu) and very tasty! Staff very friendly and accommodating! Good drinks selections!

I come here regularly bringing different groups of fussy eaters. The staff are amazing at accommodating our needs & are happy to receive bookings for our relatively large groups. Everyone is always happy as the food is exquisite.

Having had take aways from here many times before we were expecting good food. How disappointed we were! Tkka Massala was chewy and not nice at all and the Sag Aloo over spiced. All in all, we wouldn't go there again and will use one of the better Indian restaurants local to Cheshunt tandoori.

I went to this restaurant at 10.55 pm. As it was closing time I thought I would be returned. But they have a warm welcome and quickly made all the dishes I placed order for and did not even rush me to finish. They had a nice chat. Umm, the main interesting thing is the taste of Food. Wow wow wow. Please try this once sure you will be back again.

Visited Cheshunt Tandoori, had a lovely meal, very good staff and Indian food.Although a smallish place, very good close atmosphere can be created. Waiters very polite and only to pleased to help. I had a Lamb Balti, my friend had Chicken Tikka Masala, both dishes were well received and offered any short on the house. Will go again.

The food was ok. Not bad. Nothing wrong with it but boring and bland. They got my order wrong in the restaurant. I also had an unpleasant experience on the toilet the day after I had a meal there. Cumin much better in turnford and I wouldn't recommend this place

I have used this Restaurant for several decades and it has rarely let me down and this time was no exception. I ordered in advance but early arriving travellers forced me to ask for delivery an hour earlier. This was accepted without issue and everything arrived on the dot. I ordered for a vegetarian, a religious food exception, and a very hot, hot and a mild curry eater. On delivery I saw that the Restaurant was under new management with a different deliverer, but there was nothing to worry about. An excellent free bottle of wine, popadoms, pickles and unexpected salad all made the meal an excellent dinner for everyone and a massive save from the all the cooking and washing up etc. I will use this Restaurant again for takeaways and visits.

A nice bright and airy restaurant. The waiters are friendly. The usual choices on the menu as you would expect. All cocked nice. Would recommend for a late night Saturday meal after a few pints.

Great food. The chicken tikka was as good as ever, around 10 chunks of moist chicken. The only thing it missed was a little bit of salad which you normally get with other Indian Takeaways

Visited this evening with my husband snd two young children.we had the five course menu, excellent value at 9.95.Food was fresh,tasty and service outstanding.Would highly recommend.

This restaurant is under new management. I don't know if the chefs are the same but the tandoori lamb chops were not the usual quality - dry and without any fat. Also the chicken in the chicken tikka masala was not cubes of chicken but small pieces. The rest of the food seemed to be of the usual decent standard. Will order same again next time to see if was a one off - if not then will not be using them again.

Another fab meal from Cheshunt Tandoori. Definitely my favourite local Indian. Happy customer

Food was great, tasted amaxing! but we ordered 2 mango chutney dips which when arrived turned up as 2 pots of mint sauce silly mistakes which shouldn't happen.

Food was really good. Only thing was ordered Chicken Hyderabadi which was described as mild creamy and sweet - this was not the case - it was in fact quite spicy. As we actually don't mind spice this was ok but not too sure if we actually got what we ordered.

Been here a couple of times before, was introduced to this restaurant through the taste card app, always enjoyed the food and the service however the last time we went the food was not as great, don't get me wrong it was still nice but not as good as usual... was abit difficult to get staff attention even though there were only two tables... I had the king prawn purée which was absolutely delicious although again had less prawns than usual, special fried rice and the prawn dunsik which was ok. 7 of us ended up paying close to £130 which isn't too bad I guess but abit pricey for the overall of what u get...

Naan breads were dry and overlooked. Cauliflower bhaji was soggy and bland. The veg korma and tandoori saag curries were nice, but a far cry from what we've had before from there. Delivery 20muns early with polite service.

Visited the restaurant with my family on Saturday night. Service was quick. starters came within 20 mins of ordering and mains came after within good time. Taste was very fresh and lot of flavours. Waiters were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Will defo visit again.. Hidden Gem

Asian food with all the traditional and authentic flavours.Portions were really good and service was also goodVery good location also as there are 2 big pubs next to it. Right next to the station which means it was perfect for my work gathering

Sadly, I am disappointed to say the food arrived 20 minutes after its intended time and luke warm. Whether or not this due to it being under new management I can't say but when we ordered 3 weeks previously it was lovely

Been to the Cheshunt Tandoori a couple of times before. It was ok. But it has now been taken over by the owners of the raj vogue. Whose chef won chef of the year 2015. You can tell the difference in the taste and quantity of the food straight away. Really good flavours and much larger portions than before,It has also been refurbished to a good standard. And The staff are very welcoming and looked after us really well even though they were extremely busy. Highly recommend this restaurant

I have to say eat in or take away food is always 1st class

A friend convinced me to go for an all-you can eat restaurant but it has just confirmed my believe that a set menu and carefully made dishes are better value than all you can eat. The food cost as much as going to a regular restaurant but tasted only half as good.

What a find! We were so excited when Starters arrived, puri and chicken momo were excellent. Fresh flavours and generous portions. The mains were great too. All the food was bought up at the same time so all hot. The main dish I had, Chicken Tikka Taka was excellent. Not too spicy and over powering. This sign of a good meal when you feel full but don't keep tasting it for hours! We were able to use Tastecard, however this restaurant also has some great deals too. The toilets were also spotless and the restaurant decor and music very tasteful. Pleasant and helpful staff and we cannot wait to come back again soon
