🌟 A Sunday Roast to Remember at The May Fly! 🌟 If you're craving the ultimate Sunday comfort food, look no further than The May Fly pub – a hidden gem that delivers big on flavour, warmth, and hearty portions. I recently popped in for their famous Sunday roast, and let me tell you: it was pure joy on a plate. The star of the show? The gammon – beautifully glazed, tender, and packed with that rich, smoky-sweet flavour that just melts in your mouth. Each slice was thick and juicy, perfectly cooked and full of soul-satisfying goodness. And let’s talk about the Yorkshire pudding – golden, towering, and delightfully crisp on the outside with a fluffy center that soaked up the rich gravy like a dream. It was everything a proper Yorkshire pud should be and then some! The roast itself came with a generous helping of perfectly roasted potatoes, seasonal veg that still had bite, and lashings of rich, savoury gravy that tied the whole plate together. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The May Fly is the kind of place that turns a lazy Sunday into a full-on feast. Do yourself a favour – book a table, bring your appetite, and prepare to fall in love with one of the best roasts in town. 🥂🍽️

Staff were closing the shop, but allowed us to have quick coffee to warm after our walk.
