Pop Inn Cafe in Tandridge

Great little cafe... service was good..food was good.. price was good. If you want posh nosh this is not the place for you.. only disappointment sausages were pretty much meat free.. upgrade them and it will be 5 stars.

Very good service and food. Staff are friendly, I would highly recommend for families, solo visits. Very good value for money too

My first visit and was lucky to get the last table by the door that does not shut properly. Super service but more of that later. Top value Shepherd’s pie, peas, chips and gravy. Lovely child friendly atmosphere and so to my last point. I paid at the counter and offered to tip for exceptional service. No Can Do /Computer says No. So sorry no tip for the efficient service, as I no longer carry cash. I just hope the staff get something extra from the owners who are doing quite well judging by how busy it was!

Lovely lovely place, the restaurant is very clean and tidy, the service is great and the food. Traditional cafe menu with lots of choice.

Very overpriced for a cafe. 2 sandwiches and two drinks came to £18.50 it’s a greedy builders cafe so usually I would only spend about £10-£12 on other places Good seating and always busy but if your stuck for money and fancy a treat, go elsewhere

I went today to pop-in cafe for breakfast and I had baquete with ham,bacon, cheese and mayo and also for dessert apple pie with vanilla ice-cream. Both were really tasty and fresh! Highly recommend! Apostolos

We set down and ordered breakfast I eat one piece of Bacon as I was eating there was a big black hair on my food I bring it back to his attention and the response I got was violent it was a full plate of food and I told him that I did not want it and he was starting to get angry and tightening his fists I felt really intimidated And then told me to get out of his Caffe and don’t bother coming back he did not need my custom so if you like hairy food go to Pop in you will get everything you need Not happy at all 😡😡😡😡😡

Been going there for some time took my gf there my mates my family(before lockdown) ,everyone is so friendly and makes you feel welcome seems like the same staff have been there for years always enjoy a trip to the Pop inn definitely would recommend

Bland food, small portions, the service is monotone and they look scared to be in there with current restrictions. Everyone sitting down has no masks on, yet he rejects customers for takeaway for not wearing a mask, even though they say they can’t wear one! He asks for their health history or proof! They don’t want customers in their cafe at the moment it seems and if you do go be prepared to wait some time next to lots of people not wearing masks as they have shut half of the tables! Ridiculous - they have gone mad here!

Food excellent for taste and value and staff very amenable. Excellent value for money and food all eaten.

Quick and fresh food, alround cafe. We use it at least once per month, easy parking in Morrison’s car park and short walk.

We order here for the shop daily! The food is very nice and always fresh! The chicken breast with rice and salad is fab or we usually grab a breakfast or omelette. Friendly service and always clean

I have eaten breakfast and lunch at this cafe on more than one occasion and have never had any problems. I have also had take out food and every time the food looks nice and is nice. The staff are always very helpful and friendly and the food has always been very good. I would recommend this cafe if your just popping in for breakfast on your own or if you are with friends or family. Very clean and very good food. Thanks to all the staff. Rickie.

Our family have eaten here on many occasions for breakfast and lunch. The breakfasts are very nice and taste fresh always. The staff are nice and the cafe is always clean. The tomato ketchup and Sausages are the only items they could improve on. Well done guys keep up the hard work.

Fresh lovely food served everytime we go. My young niece and her friends love it in their too, mainly for the milkshakes! Clean and friendly. Often order takeaway too for all the girls in the shop. Highly recommend.

I met a friend for lunch here today at this great cafe. Good old down to earth cafe nosh, great menu with lots of favourites. I had bangers and mash with peas and onion gravy, a very generous portion and beautifully cooked. Excellent value for many and very nice staff. Overall, excellent, can highly recommend.

I’ve been using this cafe for years now and I have never been disappointed. The food is all cooked to order and consistently good from a sausage roll to ham egg and chips you will not be disappointed.

Arrived in Surrey and our friends suggested going here for breakfast lovely lady serving! nice different sizes of which meals you want, you see them chopping the food all fresh very tasty good size portions! All clean and tidy would go here again when in Surrey!

I have been going to this cafe for years and years. We always have lovely food, usually a big breakfast or panini's. Everything is delicious and the staff are great.

Always nice food, never had a bad meal. Good value. I tend to have a good old fry up but they do other lunch options like paninis etc.

One step up from a very good workmans café, Can get very busy during midday but the service is still good.

Visited today with my husband who is wheelchair-bound and has dementia. Fantastic service from this family run business. Everyone was happy and positive and did everything to ensure my husband had a nice time. Delicious coffee - no bitterness which I hate in ground coffee - and lovely food. And good prices. Highly recommended place.

Woke up starving on Sunday morning and only a fry up would do. Drove from Edenbridge in search of a good café and found this one. Big breakfast fantastic, coffee excellent. Set me up for the day and all for only £6.50. Brilliant

We were in Caterham for a business trip and entered the Pop Inn Café with caution, it turns out it was the greatest café we have all ever been to, I can not think of one complaint and would go back everyday if I could. Love it!

Run by two young Turkish brothers, Hussain (front of house) and Cem (kitchen), Pop Inn Cafe is spotlessly clean and efficiently run. Cem's kitchen is competent and seems to use the minimum of oil/grease. Prices are very fair. Veggie Breakfast is a stand out dish

All the times I have been in to the pop in cafe. The food was nasty. Service is crap. The waiter/waitresses never have a smile on their face they make you feel unwelcome. There is nothing wrong with "service with a smile" the only decent thing about that cafe are the milkshake's. Definitely the worst cafe in Caterham.

My wife and I used to shop for my elderly mother - and then treat ourselves to a coffee and sandwich. We visited all the cafes in Caterham Valley (including the chains) - but only this one offered very good value, excellent coffee, quick and friendly service - and great food. This café offers all of the above - and consistently. On a Saturday, the waitresses appear to be Saturday girls - but these have to be the best trained Saturday girls around.
