Great little cafe really friendly staff big old plates loverly coffee me and 8 work mate went everyone loved it great work guys 😳😄😄

We had a selection of dishes from the all day breakfast menu. Everything was well cooked and tasty. It is a traditional cafe serving the types of food you would expect. The prices are affordable and reasonable for well cooked basic food. Staff are friendly. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed

I love going here. I've been going to this café for around 10+ years and they have never failed my expectations.

I’d describe as sort of a cabbies cafe vibe. Friendly staff and open early on a Sunday (8am) which was helpful to kill some time. Not keen on cafes using Heinz bottles and refilling with non Heinz, basic ketchup. Food was cooked well and the bacon was nice. No real thought to decor, feels a bit dated. 5* hygiene rating is very positively ve though.

First visit today - very impressed. Had one of the set breakfasts, well cooked and arrived quickly ( had a coffee upgrade as not a fan of instant - very decent Americano ). Friendly staff. Clean toilets. Spacious, clean cafe with large wooden tables. Very warm day but pleasantly cool inside. Also liked the lantern style lights overhead

The food is always nice and the service is always very fast, I would recommend 👍 also they have an alcohol licence so if you fancy a beer with your lunch then it's a good place to go 😊

Such a shame 😐 caterham cafe used to be good value for money with decent portions of food . £7.50 for set 2 . This came with 3 hash browns , two THIN rashes of bacon and a hand full of button mushrooms sliced so fine to look full and one fried egg with no beans and a tea ….. Tut Tut this is very over priced ! The other meals I’ve photographed again were overpriced . I’m one to support local businesses but this isn’t acceptable and this is a place where I usually see OAP’s eating , I hope you give them a discount as they don’t deserve to pay these prices just to have a weekly treat and some chit chat … Staff we fine and attentive to the customers . Just a shame prices have risen so high . Perhaps one day I’ll revisit this place but for now I shan’t bother . Save yourself money and eat elsewhere .

After walking into this run down looking cafe, I was instantly hit with the smell of BIO and autism. I was left unserved at a sticky unwashed table. Lovely food great service good prices what more could you want

Walked to counter told to sit 5mins late they service old people who walk in to the counter got servered. Picky who there nice to. Only been few times never again there is better places who like there customers.

Lovely and friendly staff, amazing fresh cooked food, the meals taste great. Very good portions! A lot to choose from on the Menu! Well worth the money! Would always visit when I can. Would fully recommend to anyone who fancies a great meal out.

Standard cafe menu with few extra dishes like chicken kebab. Good value and decent size portions. Note its cash only which is a bit inconvenient given that most places accept card payments.

Good value for money, nice food and quick and friendly service. The whole menu is available all day, so you could have a pie and mash for breakfast if you felt like it. It can get very busy but turn around is fast.

Just very nice people and very nice food at very good prices

This was as a result of a visit to a relative in a local hospital. Needed somewhere to eat and found this place. Favourable revues on Tripadvisor so we gave it a go. Greeted by friendly waitress we found a good menu and were not disappointed by the food. Yes it's basic but well cooked and good portion size. We've been back three times on further visits, do give it a try!!

Good old fashioned cafe with delicious food at amazing prices. Busy but efficient and friendly staff. We stopped in on passing through Caterham based on the reviews and were we glad we did! If we didn’t live an hour away this would be our go to place - it may actually be worth the drive!! Go - you won’t be sorry!

Great breakfast at good value. I had a set3 and was full. Food hot and well cooked. Worth a visit. Just what I needed on a Sunday morning after a friends 50th birthday celebrations.

I had a lovely lunch at the cafe' today with my family and the food was nicely cooked and tasty. We were served quickly and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back here soon!

Whilst live in the past five years in Caterham I have always said that this cafe was a hidden gem and did the best breakfast around, sadly unfortunately I can’t say that anymore the last three times I have been I have had poor service and poor food quality. I’m not sure if it’s a change of management or cheaper products being used but the quality of the food is not like it once was, this is a shame. Even the staff as are not as friendly as they once were.

It’s a nice and comfortable place to eat, hot breakfast served. Prices have changed recently.

Having visited this cafe a couple of times I continue to be impressed. The staff are extremely friendly, always keen to help. The food is always extremely fresh and they are always happy to accommodate for any changes I have requested (being a fussy eater some places can be an absolute nightmare!!).Will return soon but until then keep up the good work guys!

On our visit to Caterham cafe we got seated within 30 sec grumpy waiter said are you really to order rudely we said not but we’ll have some teas which he brought without the milk when we asked for the milk he exploded can only recommend if he doesn’t like his job he needs to change it

The waiter has a real attitude problem. Which is a pity as he is spoiling what would otherwise be a good cafe.

Fantastic breakfast ... very good value too. Also does lots of other home cooked foods too .. or you can get just a cuppa ... one bad thing ...always busy!

I live in caterham and eat in the couple of cafe that are in the town. I like eaten in this cafe because the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is always good. I would recommend eating here.

Great food , a little overpriced. Slow service and chairs need rubber on base of legs to cancel loud noise when being moved.

Very convenient for our walk route, friendly family-run place, so helpful in getting our large group seated OK. And the menu!! WHAT a range - to suit all appetite sizes and tastes. Reasonable prices, quick service and generous portions. Beautifully presented and delicious food when it arrived.

Very nice cafe very clean food was very nice mum was with me and she had a vegetarian breakfast which she very much enjoyed 😊

Visited today with family after a long walk. 2 very hungry adults and an almost teen. We had full English, create your own breakfast and nuggets and chips along with a round of drinks. Food was hot, fresh and delicious and large portions! Considering how hungry we were we couldn't finish everything! Excellent value for money, I paid approx £17. It was very clean and the waitress was very friendly and efficient. Would recommend and will return again soon.
