Noodles Soup in Brighton and Hove

Wow… didn’t expect to bump into this hidden gem for a hearty meal with soup full of flavours. Definitely not expecting a bowl of Laksa that taste like it’s in Malaysia or Singapore but we found it in Brighton! Must try if you are there and their selection of noodles are just amazing for such a small shop.

Big portion food and always yummy! Only can accept cash. The place is small but convinient.

The food was alright, not very traditional but tasty. However, the staff staring at me while I ate made me feel uncomfortable. Another downside is they only accept cash.

This is our absolute favourite place to it. The food is so delicious, the staff are super friendly and the price is so good in the current climate. Can't recommend it enough.

Come here often for the laksa. Simply unbeatable, £11 for a massive portion of delicious hot and complex noodle soup. Also worth checking other small choices; bok choi, dumplings, won-tons and such. Food is always ready within two minutes unless if particularly busy. Only one front of staff and he does a top job, always steadfast and driven ready to cater to us guests. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Fast service, great food extremely friendly host.

My wife took me for the 1st time. It was awesome big bowls of food. Perfect perfect perfect. And when you see the owner chef eating the same food you just know it is good.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Laksa soup! The blend of flavors was amazing, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding, and all of this at a reasonable price makes it a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend!

I’m from Brighton & my partner has lived in Brighton for almost 20 years, but we’d never been here before, until yesterday. Absolutely delicious. £10.95 for a soup bowl, which was perfect for a chilly day. Everything was piping hot & tasted very fresh. The guy serving everyone was very attentive. We’ll definitely return.

The best in the game!! The pork dumpling starters are unreal!! And the honey bbq pork laksa noodle soup is to die for! Very affordable too!

Highly reccomend for authentic noodle soup with a range of options. Can choose your noodle type, spicy or not, laksa or not, meat etc. Service was really friendly and explained the menu. Great price and huge portion.

I came here the other day with a friend and we both absolutely loved it. The service was excellent, the gentleman who served us was so kind and polite. The food came quickly and was delicious! Great value for money as well as the bowl of noodles I got was huge. I will definitely be returning again :)

I’ve been coming here for years and I always enjoy the food, my favourite is the honey pork! The food is super fast, large proportions and reasonably priced. I like that you can choose your own noodles! I also really enjoy the iced tea with honey on display. A gentleman called Aston works here, and he is such a delight, honestly so polite to everybody who enters the store and always stays calm under busy conditions. I love this store so much, I deliberately travel to Brighton to eat here. I always bring my friends and they are never disappointed. My perfect noodle heaven! 🍜❤️

We had Singapore laxa today and what a treat it was!!! This soup is amazing!

Used to be a big fan of the shop, their food always had msg, which is not an issue, but over the last few years, the amount of msg they put is ridiculous, I can hardly finish the food last night. even the noddles itself tastes msg, taste as if they cooked the noodles in mag as well. The beef was way over cooked, salty and full of msg, i am especially disappointed as this used to be my go to noodle shop. Since my visit yesterday, I’ve decided that would have been my last and final time. Especially when a bowl of noodles costs £11 these days, I would have expected better quality food.

Curry noodles was amazingly tasteful Good large size that would fill you up for certain. Very friendly services. My 1st time here well~~ I’ll become the regular soon for sure 👍 👍🙏🙏💋

런던에서 넘어와서 세븐시스터즈가기 전국물이 먹고싶어서 그냥 들어갔네요. 이게 왠일! 완전 맛집입니다. 남자 사장님 두분이 일하시고 한분은 주방, 한분은 홀이세요. 화장실이 신식은 아니지만 깔끔하게 해놓으셔서 냄새없습니다. 화장실가면서 주방을 보게됐는데 생각보다 잘 정돈되있고 깨끗합니다. 음식은 말할것도 없죠. 가게 정보가없어서 앞테이블에서 먹는걸로 달라고 말씀드렸어요. 2개를 시켰는데 하나는 훈제돼지고기국수, 다른하나는 소고기인데 한국말로는아롱사태를 데쳐서 국수에 넣으신것 같아요. 고수올라갑니다. 싫어하시는분들 빼달라고하세요. 국물너무 맛있어서 제거 다먹고 친구가 남긴 국물까지 흡입했는데 조미료의 껄끄러움이 없습니다. 여기 진짜강추요. 한국분들 브라이튼 오시면 여기 오세요. 현금만 받으시니 이점은 꼭 기억해주세요.~~ 현금만 받으시는게 괘씸한 기분이아닌, 아.. 내가 버로우마켓에서 현금을 왜썼을까... 현금 뽑아야겠다. 라는 생각이 드는 맛집입니다! 저는 내일도 가려구요

This is one of the best chicken noodle soup I have had. It is a must go. It is a very good and the staff is very sweet and always smiling.

Curry noodles was amazingly tasteful however I preferred the clear soup noodles, it was full of fresh taste of Coriander. Good large size that would fill you up for certain. Very friendly services. Just a bit small and really busy. BTW there were so many options for your noodles, amazing!

All the soups here are amazing! My favorite is the Duck Laksa. It is out of this world. So many layers of flavour. The place is small and simple (I usually take away). The food is great value for money (cash only). Highly recommended.

Real Hong Kong Cantonese Food! What a pleasant surprise to stumble onto this 💎 gem! Yes, if you love noodles this place is for you and your family. Beef Noodles was my kids favorite. I like their seafood laksa. Next time I want to try their dry noodles. The best part! You can choose 4 different noodles. Egg noodle Ho Fun Udon white Udon Yellow The portion is huge. The beef is very good. Pork balls are home made by them. Do you know there is only two person working in the entire shop. One guy managing all the orders, cleaning and also chores. One chef in the kitchen cooking everything. Honestly the wait is not long at all. This shop have only been open for two years and I wish them the very best and will go again tomorrow before I leave Brighton! Remember to tip them Oh one more! Cash only. There is a bank across the street!

I've no idea why I've not visited this restaurant before but it won't be long before I go back. The menu has photographs of the dishes to assist your choice and the actual dish arrives even better than the picture! The food is tasty, generous and prepared very quickly. The service is helpful and attentive. The restaurant is fairly basic but is spotlessly clean. Prices very reasonable. It's a gem!

It is the 1st time I visit to this beautiful coastal city. There are lots of different varities of restaurants in the city centre like pub food, Italian, Greek, Chinese and Japanese... I choose this one because I am a noodle lover. You can find Chinese and even Malaysian churry noodle here. Besides, it also provides famous Hongkong-style snack French toast too. The food price and portion is more than reasonable with very authentic taste. Nevertheless, the shop is quite small with limited seats. Besides, you need to park at the car parks nearby charging you typical price of tourist resort. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is cash only! I collected take away from here, it's a very small restaurant that specialises, as the name suggests, in noodle soup. There's a variety of choices of different toppings, soups, and noodles. The soup itself was delicious and rich, just what you want on a cold, rainy day!

Food wise...top draw. Good value for money, tasted great, generous portion for sure. Service was ultra quick too Probably the best seafood and pork noodle soups myself and Mrs G have had since our beloved Hikari closed down. The 2 things stopping it being a 5 circle review. 1. Cash Only!!. 2. The young waitress could crack a smile now and again. Would recommend for a good meal before the train home.

I am surprised to find there is such a relatively authentic noodles restaurant in Brighton. They served multiple choices in a easily organized way and provided customized options for the type of noodles. Recommend rice noodles and Ho Fun! And it has good sufficient quantity and is cost effective.

Front of house service was poor, they didn't know what was in the dishes, Food on the other hand was excellent.

Super delicious noodle soup, which was served in around 4 mins after ordering. The meat was so tender, it felt like it was melting in my mouth.

We go to noodle soup at least a couple of times a month because it is simply delicious.

Edit: still amazing but now slightly more expensive. A tenner used to get you a drink and a bowl of noodles. Now you'll need £11-£12 for the same. It's amazing here. The flavours are immense and the service is speedy. You can also try combinations that aren't on the menu, just ask. Find a seat, they'll come over to you. Then order and remember to try the condiments. Note: This place is cash only.

The soup broth is good, but the meat itself is disgusting. I was really disappointed, was really excited to try out this place. The meat felt old, overcooked, I could barely eat it.

I've always liked this pub. Not as busy as some of the others in the North Laine. Food has always been good, theybalsomdo a nice organic lager brewed in Sussex. The only downside was the toilet but havimg said all that, I don't think there were many pub toilets that I would give a good review of! I do recommend a visit and you l find it difficult to leave.

A really good place to go for lunch or an after work gathering. Usually packed out as the food, the drink and the atmosphere are conducive to a relaxing time.

The absolute best Laksa Noodle soup we have had ever. Great portions. No frills, super quick service to at in our get a takeaway. Friendly and attentive staff. Remember it’s cash only but the closest cash point is opposite the road or round the corner by Churchill square :). Also tried the wontons as well as the spring rolls which are also rather tasty.

We had a really nice experience here - quite friendly staff, good portion sizes, and nice flavours whilst being healthy too. I would kindly recommend far more vegan/plant-based items on the menu.

I enjoy this place as it brings with it a sense of nostalgia from living in Hong Kong. The food is delicious, quick and reliable. There is a good selection for all palates.

I order a laksa with prawns which just about £10 (they only accept cash). The food arrived quickly and they happily give you chilli crisp. It was really delicious and comfortingly warm for the cold weather. It’s a really good deal as the portion is very big and tasty. Definitely would recommend especially in these cold days!

After walking past this place for years finally stopped in for dinner. Delicious food, lovely service and a nice place to eat. Definitely will be back.

Nice food but cash only service

Went with a friend and had the vegetable noodle soup (spicy) while she ordered beef singapore laksa. Both enjoyed the food. Although she expected laksa go be more milky. An only cash place. And very filling. Could barely finish it.

A wide variety of Noodle soups. Different types of noodles and broths. Simple and quick. I would recommend the Wonton as a good starter. In general they offer a good trade-off between quality, size and price. Most of the soups are around 10-12 GBP, they only take cash (there is an ATM just in front of the place).

With such a large menu, we expected one vegetarian dish, especially in a place like Brighton. In the end we had to settle for a Tofu dish without Oyster sauce, which then needed black vinegar, chilli oil and soy sauce adding to give it flavour. Perhaps the owners could offer Mushroom based oyster-style sauce if vegetarian is requested? The others who ate meat said it was OK, but slightly expensive for what it was (£9.95 per dish).

This place is the best! The taste is always consistent, just a simple place with a simple menu. You choose your soup, noodle type and toppings. My absolute favourite is the Singapore laksa with King prawn and egg noodles. Just amazing. Its very cheap as well, they only accept cash but there is an atm right opposite the place.
