Horrible food, doesn't taste like Indian plus naan breads are from a supermarket, with such a limited menu you think it would be done well

We had chicken jalfrezi, sag aloo and pilau rice from Mr Singh Curry King, while staying at Hurley Riverside Park, which we've also reviewed in detail on the Wild Hippies blog. The chicken jalfrezi was okay, with lots of chicken however we would have preferred a little more sauce with perhaps some identifiable vegetables. The sag aloo was okay, however it was more of a puree than we would expect, so perhaps canned spinach was used, however it tasted fine. The 'pilau rice' was plain rice. All in all it was reasonable for a campsite meal hence the score. Wild Hippies

I had the pleasure of consuming his food at the June Marlow Town Regatta and Festival. It was a pleasure to eat it, just the right heat and taste, also a good helping. Prices were good as well. I would certainly recommend the food

this is simply a delivery from his mum. No real choice. We have stopped using as there is no choice, it is whatever his mum makes in a big pot. Good Indian, BUT at UK prices at Indian costs. NEED INDIAN PRICES, 50% reduction

Revisited this spot for dosa but was left very disappointed. Visited on a hot day and sadly the food was disagreeable. Very salty and did not live up to previous visit. The dosa contained chunks of onion and the potato filling was not a fine lightly spiced mash. Drew to the attention of waitress who said I should have returned after one bite!! Disappointing response 😳

Worst delivery service ever, and when I spoke to them 3 times, seemed they didn’t care, will never ever use them again, better service would be good

We were in town visiting a friend, and we were looking for some Indian takeaway to have a nice evening in. We were welcomed and given a seat while we decided what to eat and ended up having a nice glass of wine while we waited. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I felt they went above and beyond, making sure we had a nice experience. The food was great. The pompadons were nice, and the lamb kebabs were excellent. The atmosphere was nice as well. The only note for reference is that Google Maps takes you to the back, and the name on the front of the store says Maidenhead Spice. That is the space they are in. We found it and were happy we did.

The restaurant was recommended to me by a personal friend. I was looking for something that offers good food, good service and authentic experience for my family’s visit in the UK. The food was mediocre, lacks taste and the portions are very small. It seems like the dishes are different colours but taste the same. The breads were very good though. The prices are expensive for what it is. The restaurant smells unpleasantly. I was sold on the promise of magic shows for my little cousin, and the experience, but other than taking our order, we did not see any of the waiters come up and even ask if our food was ok. I asked if the 3 portions of rice would be enough between the 4 of us and the waiter offered no comment other than just shrugging his shoulders. I don’t really like to leave bad comments, so I also told the owner at the end that the experience was very disappointing and he didn’t seem too bothered. Overall, the most disappointing meal/ experience we’ve ever had.
