Morrisons Cafe in Tandridge

Late lunch on a Saturday so they had run out of quite a few sandwich options due to our timing but staff were friendly and apologetic. They do have a decent selection of hot food options including jacket potatoes but I went for the lunch offer for £6.50 which included sandwich, coffee from the machine with unlimited refills, and a cake. We chose the chocolate cake and it was really delicious. Kids meals vary a bit in size - the mac and cheese was quite diddy but the kids nuggets, chips and beans was a good portion. There was plenty of seating and food came out fast. Its a convenient location and lets be honest its pretty cheap. Kids eat free if an adult has a main hot meal... You get what you pay for. Its basic but it worked well with kids, its super convenient and we would eat here again.

Truly awful experience today.do not use this cafe! Went with my son for latevlunch as kids eat free ordered all day breakfast looked old refried and over cooked.5.99 seemed a bargain son got chicken nuggets and chips he said chips ok but nuggets horrible.my hashbrowns rock hard days old mushroom shivelled tomato over cooked sausage I could go on.i asked for refund which I hot but felt really let down as this cafe used to be so good.every table dirty coffee spilt on floors wasn't busy so no excuse.never will I go again yo this cafe

Ordered 2 breakfasts, horrible, cold, deep fried absolutely disgusting I can’t believe they thought that they were acceptable to serve. Poached egg was ok but rest 🤮

The breakfast was okay, but the cutlery was absolutely filthy Could be a risk to health! Won’t be going again although a regular shopper at Morrisons Oxted

We decided to stop for breakfast in Morrisons Oxted. No one on the till but a very rude assistant sitting down eating toast said 'what do you want!' We replied 'a cooked breakfast' , she said 'get your own drinks and then someone will see what you want.' She was mouthing off to other staff, even called one a 'cheeky cow' Very loud person and a poor Image for Morrisons. Not a pleasant experience.

Surprisingly a nice little cafe with well cooked very reasonably priced fish and chips. Highly recommended

Shocking long wait, no staff to ask for help, very dirty tables. Was so busy I gave up waiting and left.

Had breakfast there the other day after finishing shopping and it was certainly the worst I have ever had there. Maybe they have a new cook or something, but if my experience was anything to go by they need another one. It was very cheap and all that, but my two sausages were done to death, the bacon similar, the scrambled egg tasteless and the mushrooms straight out of a tin. Needless to say I left most of it - but my cuppa tea was ok!!

Waited over 45 mins for 3 meals. Saw other people complain and one couple got their money back! No explanation as to what the delay was. Food average. Omelette did not seem to be freshly made. Only saving grace was the price as portions quite large.

My friend and I go in their regularly, however service is slow, usually have to ask for a mug or plates as they are never replaced once empty. Latte is always not hot and so I heat it up in the microwave. Tables not cleaned quick enough and cutlery has stains on. Trying to find somewhere else to meet up soon.Staff need to work harder to improve service. Disappointing

not my usual haunt lol, however been a few times after getting the weekly shop and always excellent value, today I had what I thought was going to be a small roll with a fer breakfast bits in it, (i arrived at 2pm) It was HUGE!!! 2 eggs, 3 bacon, 2 sausages, beans and mushrooms ...... honest..... all in a roll the size of a small dinner plate! all that for 5 pounds - you cant grumble at that!!

The service is good, however what you’d expect from any café. The food is also good but my problem is on many occasions my food has took a long time to come out, especially for a café! Once I waited 40 minutes for my macaroni and cheese.

Once again today, my mother and I had lunch in Morrisons cafe prior to doing our shopping and as always it was excellent. No, it’s not high end restaurant but it is fresh cooked, good quality food at cheap prices. What is there not to like???I do not understand the below comment about the menu being hidden behind the counter, as it is easily on show on a stand as you enter the cafe. The staff are helpful and friendly and food is always of a good quality. Give it a try, it’s great value!

I found myself in need of breakfast while I was on business in the Oxsted area, It was 8.10am on the 3rd July 2018. As a regular Morrison's shopper I choose the Oxted branch to have my breakfast. As I entered the premises I was greated by the usual high standard of cleanliness. On making my way to the restaurant area I was greated by an extremely well mannered and professional member of staff, who took my breakfast order. I choose the large breakfast with tea and I have never ever had a bad breakfast in a Morrison's supermarket but this one was exceptional. Everything was cooked so freshly giving full breakfast flavour and value for money in every sense of the word. If I lived in Oxted I would have my breakfast in this Morrison's store every day. The staff are second to none and are a credit to Morrison's and on my next visit to Oxted I will not hesitate to eat in this establishment no matter what time of day. Once again a hugh thank you to the restaurant staff at Morrison's Oxsted.

The till operator was to buzy asking for someone to come and relief him to go bathroom , and didn't listen to our order one person no food it took 25 mins to come and when it did it was cold and burnt

Popped in for a breakfast but I'll never go back.Staff cannot seem to take orders, menus hidden behind counter, no knives or forks and food average.It's almost as if they can't be bothered to serve hot food.The supermarket was busy but the cafe was empty which I suppose gives an indication of how bad it is.Best avoid this place and use the other good places in town.

Yes it's a cafe in a supermarket but it offers good value for money and tasty food.

This is a café in a supermarket! The rage of food is 'every thing British' and it's well cooked and to order. The staff are friendly and helpful and because of the prices it's always bust - Give it a go - it's CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!
