Very good place to stop on the highway, especially when there is a lot of traffic, it has a cafeteria, restaurants, bathrooms, Wi-Fi. etc

What can I say it’s a service station, clean and has lots of decent places to get coffee etc. it also has a McDonald’s

The customer service agent did not greet or acknowledge me at the till. I smiled and he dis not make eye contact. Strangely; he was friendly and chatty to the customers before me. I feel compelled to feedback as have deduced that his disinterested attitude towards me is because I am black (the customer before me aforementioned was Caucasian)

Always great service from the Costa staff, great ☕, nice 🥪 & a good place to sit & relax whilst negotiating the M25. 😊👌

Was poppy selling. A pleasant building with lots of food outlets. Costa sold me a very good flat white.

Arrived on a Friday night at 7:45pm to find only the McDonald’s and WH Smiths open. Costa - closed. Leon - closed. Noodle place - closed. Do they not want to make money?

Stopped earlier today at the Clacket Lane services. Great customer service by Finn at Leon. Speedy service and very polite.

I had a yummy lunch at Leon, I think I was served by someone called Lily (maybe lillia sorry if I get this wrong!!) I was only going to get an iced coffee, but she recommended I tried the honeycomb to put in. This was fantastic! Genuinely one of the best coffees I’ve ever had to date. Helped my day a lot- kept me going through my drive back to Norwich! Thanks.

Had a Korean chicken wrap, served by lily at the desk she had great customer service skills! Definitely recommend this Leon branch to anyone who is hungry!!!

Stopped this morning for a coffee from Leon, where i was served by Lily who was extremely helpful and recommended a lovely sweet treat which i thoroughly enjoyed alongside a lovely coffee! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a smiley face, fantastic service and great food!!

Stopped off for some lunch at Leon, and had the pleasure of being served by a lovely young lady named Lily. Her helpful cheerful, attitude was unmissable. She was extremely patient with us when ordering and informative when asking about what she recommended to eat. Food was also very good and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back here again!

I don’t usually do this but i popped in to Leon here today. I was down and grumpy, but the waitress, Lily, just brightened my day despite my quite obvious grump. How nice to see someone enjoying serving the public and working hard at it!

For a service station, here you can find lots of nice places and a clean toilett visit

For us, Roadchef Clacket Lane (both sides) is an essential comfort break stop on our way to & from Gatwick Airport. Stop there generally at least once a year. It never fails to disappoint.

Due to work I use these services frequently . I have always found the services and toilets very clean and tidy . There is a good variety of food outlets and find all interactions I have had with staff have been excellent.

As service stations go this is ok. Not a massive size but in a good location if you need a break before running the goutlet of the Dartford crossing!

Spar very small shop and quite expensive

Although nice and clean, considering it is supposed to be services, they are too spread out. I am disabled, so parked in a disabled bay, yet the toilets are way over the other side of the building, and to go to macdonalds or whsmith, the entrance is also right round the other side! No thought for anyone who has limited mobility at all. No staff to ask unless.you are with an able bosy person either. Very disappointed

Stopped here to charge car and get food. Was a late visit, unable to see the EV charger number without a torch. McDonald's was a bit slow preparing the order and it really wasn't that busy on comparison to other places. Generally a very tidy service station

For me, Roadchef and its team has become a synonym for TRUE customer friendliness. My wife left her phone - with all holiday pics on it - at the Westerham location. With the kind help of the operations manager, the phone was securely packed and shipped to the Netherlands at their expense. You should have seen the look on my wife's face when she finally got the phone back in her hands. ***Thanks a MILLION, team Roadchef***

What’s happens to Leon? When they started I was very impressed with their food. Now it’s hardly the same company. I ordered Aioli Chicken Rice Box for £7.99 and was shocked to receive a box with merely any content. The rice was spread on the base of the box to make it look full. And the chicken about 5 small pieces were spread on top of that. I had to top up with Macdonalds from next door. Taste was pathetic to say the least. It was too bland and tasteless. That was my last Leon meal. Never again. I felt this way when I bought another meal last week and thought it was horrible. But I wanted to give it another go. Last time I had it at Cobham Services Leon. Fix these issues or you will be out of business soon.

Main area was fine but ladies toilet was not, floor was filthy, bin in cubicle overflowing and cleaner standing about. My husband reported the mens toilet was just as bad with overflowing litter bins. Get a grip

The price for HGVs to stay is ridiculously high (especially for drivers without SNAP account, which in turn requires ridiculously high deposit), but thanks to this you at least get a slight chance of finding a place to park here. Even though the bays are too tight and the lorry park is not litten up. The staff is friendly and the place has a classic roadchef vibe, oldschool, much appreciated. There's not much else better than this in the area.

Anticlockwise stop has to be one of the worst in the UK. Not clean (mainly because of dated furniture etc), loos bad and design means noise is huge even if not full. Cleaner In the toilets was kind, though, helping to reunite a girl with her iPhone.

Although there are disabled parking spaces outside the main entrance, there is a slope down to the main area. You then have to snake your way round to the toilets at the opposite end of the building. I did notice there was another entrance by the toilets but I have no idea how you navigate around to it. The male disabled toilet was OK. A good selection of eateries as you would expect.

Just stopped here on a coach trip.Everywhere was clean and tidy .Toilet was lovely and clean.

I’m never one to complain but one guy at this place did not seem to be with it. This happened last night (15/08/2025 at around 6:30pm) we ordered two drinks that had to be made instead of cans and whilst our food was done and finished 20 minutes later the guy at the front still hadn’t started making our drinks and then asked the guy at the back to come out and help him which the guy did. Then when the original guy returned to the drinks instead of making and ICED LATTE and MATCHA drink he made the matcha and left the cup of milk with ice all ready to go for the iced latte and just handed us the warm shot of espresso. When I asked him that my iced latte was supposed to be ICED he stared at me dazed at which we just politely left and I bought a new drink at the spar.

It has food and a place to rest after a long journey, good. The toilet are clean and the food is okay pricing, most people just get Mcdonald there tbh

Only stopped to use toilets, they were clean, well stocked and fresh. Plenty of choice for food and drink. Fuel at the petrol station was extortionate at £1.70 per litre for E5 and £1.75 for diesel. A disgraceful mark up of 25p per litre compared to local prices.

Can't believe everything was shut we stopped to get a coffee before heading home but nothing was open I think this was about 10pm

Just stopped for a break from the horrendous M25 & came into Costa. Served by a lovely lady (Diane) who made my day with her cheerfulness & banter! She could teach everyone how customer service should be!!

Well stopped at McDonald's for a quick bite to eat at 0230 in the morning due to flight delays to be spoken to like a peace of dirt by the person serving or not as told we could only have a drink. This makes you ask the question why say you open 24 hours a day

This is more about a personal experience regarding service in a desperate situation but: right outside the back of the service area my dad and I got into a minor car accident hitting the curb and were stuck for a few hours. Some lovely staff from Costa Coffee helped us out by giving us support and advice since we're not from the UK, a number for a garage, and some coffee. Their manager, Josh, and another employee who l unfortunately didn't get the name of were so kind! Two extremely friendly, generous, and helpful people. Josh checked up on us and asked if we were alright hours later too. Shout out to you, Josh, and your coworker!!! Thanks for all the help. We appreciated it a bunch! Regarding the Service Area itself: a nice, small area with the basic possible necessities such as a few stores, restaurants, coffee shops and a bathroom that suffice for a comfortable experience when in need of one of said services on the go.

Arrived just after 8pm on a Sunday - Leon shut, several of the other food vendors had limited food available. Dirty eating area. One to avoid if you can, but ok if desperate.

Sunday evening stop at the services after a long drive from France. Never again! Appalling great pot holes in the carpark with cones stood in them. God only knows how long they have been there!!! We ordered our food from McDonald's and then sat down. The constant alarms from McD's fryers going off was off putting to say the least. At one point we could not hear ourselves speak. What an embrassessment we are to any foreign visitors! Having spent 2 days driving through France their services are clean and good fresh food is available to purchase. Whilst clackers lane services was more like a war zone!

On my long drive.i stopped at Clacket lane where i popped in to spar.i was helped by a young gentleman called Stephen who was able to help me find what I was looking for.

While on my trip I came into these services for a break decided to give spar a go and i can't fault the service what so ever the manager stephen is an absolute pleasure you don't normally expect service like that from service stations but thank you

Staff no where to be found. Wanted to purchase a drink from WHSmith. Eventually when staff member attended, they where too busy and had to go check the gambling area

Clacket Lane Eastbound, a mid 1990s Roadchef building next to the M25 between J5 (A21) and J6 (A22). It’s a fairly large place with plenty of facilities, but the nearby Cobham dwarfs Clacket Lane and has taken many of its customers since 2012. Clacket Lane East is a little rough around the edges and could do with some tlc, but it’s definitely not one of the worst services I’ve seen. Clacket Lane East is situated between junctions, directly off the M25, so motorists can access it without the need to leave at a junction, making accessing the site much simpler. There are plenty of electric vehicle charging points (provided by Gridserve) meaning Clacket Lane can easily cater for the growing quantity of EVs on the motorways. Clacket Lane East has lots of parking for all types of vehicles (cars, coaches, HGVs and caravans) and is said to have the largest amount of parking of all British motorway services, meaning even when it’s really busy, you are likely to still be able to park up. There is a Days Inn motel at Clacket Lane Services, but that is located on the Westbound side only, so customers wanting an overnight stay will have to head over there using a non-public entrance taking you between the two sites. I’m not sure how easily this entrance can be unlocked, making accessing the motel from Eastbound quite challenging, but technically customers are still offered an overnight stay. Petrol has always been extremely expensive at Clacket Lane, due to higher demand. Don’t fill up at the BP garage here, fill before you leave home! The exterior of the amenity building itself is pleasant enough. It’s tidy, clean and minimal brand advertisements mean customers know how to navigate the site more simply. There isn’t much greenspace surrounding the site here, making Clacket Lane unsuited for dog walkers etc. There is some outdoor seating available, which is suitable for customers visiting the service in clement weather conditions. There is also a Costa Drive thru unit at Clacket Lane Eastbound, allowing customers to purchase Costa products without leaving their vehicle, which is handy for customers in a rush. I believe this drive thru unit closes at night however, and customers are directed inside the amenity building. The interior of Clacket Lane Eastbound, although slightly cramped and claustrophobic with the low ceilings & seating arrangement, has plenty to offer customers and is modern and clean. Food outlets on offer at Clacket Lane Eastbound include: McDonald’s (not 24 hr), Chozen Noodle, a large Costa Coffee lounge and LEON. Not a huge variety of brands but covers the basics. There’s lots of seating for customers, which is beneficial during peak times with Costa and Leon obtaining their own seating areas and McD/Chozen sharing a large, central seating area. The interior is well lit. Shops here include a WHSmith (offering Costa Express, Krispy Kreme, Tango, F’real etc) and a SPAR. Two quite similar shops selling, mostly, travel snacks, with WHSmith having a slightly weaker focus on just food. Price inflation is witnessed everywhere at Clacket Lane East except McDonald’s. Clacket Lane East was rather busy during my visit, but still easy enough to use and queues for food were not as long as some services I’ve experienced. Past the PhoneTech mobile phone accessories store and Jackpot £500, are the toilets. We have a Parent and Baby Room, 2 ordinary Disabled toilets and a large Changing Places facility, massively benefitting disabled customers who can more simply stop for a comfort break. The gents toilets are large and modern, but not the cleanest. We have 14 urinals, two large circular trough basins and 9 toilet cubicles. Not the best toilets and there seems to be slight maintenance issues with the loose flush handles/seats etc, but again, I’ve seen worse toilets at other services. Overall, Clacket Lane Eastbound is an average motorway services stop. It has so much potential and could be a great services, but remains average due to the lack of maintenance in areas and cramped design of the food court. I’d use it again.
