Went on a Tuesday night before going to a gig at the City Hall. Had the Tuesday offer - 4 small plates plus a bottle of wine £25.95. The food was good and can't fault the staff who were very efficient and friendly - will definitely be going back and the friendliness of the staff in a city centre pub isn't always as good as this - obviously good training on Customer Service👍

Shaun was great from the minute we arrived, to recommending us cocktails and providing some hungry gals with some yummy brunch. Would definitely come back!

Shaun was lovely and great service, plus only mildly judged my choices of having ketchup with my eggs benny (which I suppose is valid). Overall a lovely lad, big fan x

Lots of bar staff never a big queue was great on a busy match day xould do witjh the basins in the toilets being fixed.

We understood that the table was only available for 2 hours not that I agree with that! However when our time was up we were told very abruptly by what seemed to be a senior member of staff. We did not appreciate the way we were spoke to and were made to feel very unwelcome. I normally wouldn’t book a table but we had met my sister who has dementia and needed to sit. We won’t be back

Im updating my review out of respect for the hardworking staff that work here, please repair the broken toilet seats and broken toilet doors, its annoying to customers and distracts staff interaction with customers, ill update my review once sorted. Thanks in advance.

First time visit, was fantastic, the decor lovely, the food & cocktails amazing!

Booked a table for 8:30 at all bar one. We had a wowcher deal for 4 plates and a bottle of wine. From the moment we stepped into the place, the experience was disjointed. A sign was posted at the restaurant entrance stating “to go to the bar” for seating. Unsure why the restaurant seating couldn’t be monitored by someone. We went to the bar which was full of people and managed to speak with someone who advised us he would meet us back at the entrance of the restaurant seating. We went back over, to then wait a bit to be seated while they cleaned the table. Once finally seated, we chose our order from the set menu of small plates. Only to be told 3 out of 4 plates we chose were sold out. After choosing again (having to select food we weren’t too fussed on) and ordering, we waited around 45 minutes for our food. Fair enough if it was a large group order and if it was really busy, but there was only one other couple eating and it was just the two of us ordering. We ordered the halloumi fries, chorizo and halloumi skewers, kaarage sticky chicken and wild caught Argentinian prawns. We also opted to get the sharing plate of chips (trio of fries) which was £10.50. The prawns came cold, with overcooked toast. Halloumi fries were average. Kaarage sticky chicken was the best dish of the meal but again, the last dish ‘chicken and halloumi skewers’ were a massive let down. Two pieces of halloumi and some small chorizo (£7.95 on its own) Also £10.50 for the trio of fries and they were going cold and so dry. The worst chips I’ve had at a restaurant. One pot of chips had big clumps of unmelted cheddar ontop too. Nobody checked on us throughout the entire meal and a waitress arrived to take plates while we were finishing our drinks, 10 minutes after we finished eating. Bad service, overpriced bland/ cold food. I’d definitely avoid eating here.

Good atmosphere, lovely food, poor service. Nowhere near enough staff on. We had a booking. You go to the front desk and there’s a sign there which says go to the bar. You queue at the bar (for ages) and they send you back to the front desk which still says go to the bar! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Then, ordered a bottle of red wine, and they brought white. Ordered our food, then they came back later as they’d forgotten the order. Not the staff’s fault, though, it’s the owner/management. The staff are so stretched they are literally running around the place, literally!

However, what truly set this dining experience apart was the impeccable service we received, courtesy of the wonderful Paulina. Paulina's attentiveness and professionalism were evident from the get-go. She effortlessly guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that each dish catered to our preferences. Her warm demeanor and genuine passion for hospitality made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire evening. Not only did Paulina excel in her role as a server, but she also went above and beyond to anticipate our needs, ensuring that our glasses were always filled and our plates promptly cleared. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and it truly enhanced our dining experience. As for the food, every dish we sampled was an absolute culinary masterpiece. Each plate was thoughtfully crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were nothing short of sensational. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a symphony of taste sensations that left us craving more. Overall, our experience at all bar one was nothing short of extraordinary, and Paulina played a pivotal role in making it so memorable. Her exceptional service, combined with the delectable cuisine, has solidified this restaurant as one of my top dining destinations. I cannot recommend all bar one highly enough, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit to indulge in more of their exquisite offerings and to be greeted by the ever-charming Paulina once again.

Came in for drinks on a busy Saturday night and recived incredible service from Paulina. She recommended drinks for us and was lovely.

Great food and drink, had a Groupon voucher for food which was really cheap. Only lost one star due to the smell of bleach (presumably from the toilets next to the bar), but at least it was clean!

This was booked specifically for Mothers Day, we were a party of 10, we all decided to choose from the Mates & Dates menu. We ordered starters and on placing our first mains order, steak, the waiter checked with the kitchen steak was available - he told us it was not, along with no curries or pad thai. These were the majority of our orders, so we had to choose again - we asked if we could order of the main menu for the same price and were told no. Considering the day - Mother's Day, we thought possibly acceptable if one meal wasn't available but 4, was quite poor.

Love this bar, the service is fantastic and the food is amazing!

Team were fantastic , they had a big party in so told us before we ordered that there might be a wait for food, we didn’t mind as we were chatting and enjoying our evening. They comped us some drinks which was very kind cos we weren’t upset about the wait at all and what did come was very tasty. Would highly recommend, the Groupon voucher is very good value for money and we ordered additional drinks and desserts on top of the voucher. Thanks for a great night, the young lad that comped our drinks was fantastic, people will return for the level of service he provided

So expensive, I bought a pint of Pravha and a large shiraz, it was £16.75, decided not to stay for another due to the cost, went across the road to Fitzgeralds, got the same drinks £12.75, £4 cheaper, how can that be

This place is a hidden gem for breakfast in Newcastle. My son & I eat here regularly and it always delivers top quality, great service, nice and classy atmosphere, free wi-fi, everything just works! Okay, it might be a bit dearer than a Wetherspoons, but it’s still great value for the fresh and high quality breakfasts you get! I highly recommend the Ultimate Bacon Sandwich and the Poached Eggs, Avocado on Sourdough.

Found it nice here, not the sort of place I would normally go to on a night out. Service was good and not a long wait at the bar to be served and a fairly decent selection of drinks to choose from.

Fantastic staff Shawn and Paulina especially stuck out, really hard workers and so nice and accommodating

Bit slow serving drinks/expensive, but it's got a nice vibe to it, very clean and chilled out environment

Went today for the 1st time to have brunch. Delicious food & well priced. 2 meals for £14 is a bargain. The server Shaun was polite & happy to help. Awesome customer service by the young lad. Will definitely be going again because of this

Lovely waitress who went to great lengths to ensure the food was not too spicy for us. We were a mixed generational group and everyone was happy with food, drinks and ambience. Only suggestion was that the booth was a bit of a tight squeeze for six.

Love coming here. Love the tiger prawn starter. Fantastic service can't fault it. Atmosphere is great however the music needs turning down a bit especially the restaurant area.

Visited for New Years and the place was bouncing. Some of the best cocktails i’ve had in newcastle and server was constantly keeping the place clean and was really friendly. Random but the selection of bar snacks was top tier and service was fast considering it’s one of the busiest nights of the year. Big win thank you all bar one x x

Twas 10 nights before Christmas.... And even though the bar was heaving, this didn't affect how good the table service was, and the food still came out in a very reasonable time and tasted and looked amazing, I was very impressed.

We've been here a few times, my family and I . Nice surroundings, great staff. Unfortunately as some of our favourite cocktails aren't on the menu now we are unlikely to be back

Came here for brunch on the weekend and were some of the only people here so if you’re after quick service this is the place! I had the full English which was great with generous servings of meat. Coffees also came with smarties on the side which was a nice touch! Also has great interior decor contributing to a lovely ambiance to eat in.

We were in the private dining area for our work Christmas party. Staff were attentive and came round multiple times to take orders, food was gorgeous, drinks were lovely. We were over charged on the night as our deposit was not removed however the manager emailed us to rectify that (as we hadn't noticed yet!), so we're getting that sorted. Thanks :)

As a regulars for drinks I decided to take my fiancé for a birthday meal to All Bar One Newcastle, and I'm so happy I did, the food was perfect, the drinks good but the best thing was the service, all the staff made us feel like family, but Shaun was amazing very friendly , felt like he had known us for years and such a laugh made the night, thank you so much although we have been a few times tonight you all made us feel special thank you so so much. I highly recommend all bar one and say high to Shaun for me

This place is very smart and comfortable. Good seating at some circular tables. However my Korean Chicken burger was very average and frankly not obviously better than McDonalds. Service is either at the bar or via the QR code on the table which I find irritating. Probably a place to be seen but not for me.

No table service, you order via scanning code on table or going to the bar. We waited ages for our food & it arrived with one meal missing. We were all still hungry when we left. Quality & portions were poor. We won’t be back.

I haven’t been in All Bar One for some time. Popped in tonight and found that they had Tapas Tuesday offer for £26 (4 plates and a bottle of wine). Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was top class - many thanks to Shaun for looking after us - we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area, especially if you are able to take advantage of the Tuesday offer.

Amazing service from Shaun throughout our visit but especially when enquiring about gluten free meal choices and helping me decide on what to order. He was incredibly helpful, very friendly and checked on us several times to check the food and drinks were ok. Thank you, Shaun for making our visit a lovely one.

Made welcome from walking in. We were early but not a problem. Food was excellent and plenty for the two of us (4 plates). Nothing was too much and as an example of their excellent customer service I had a coughing episode and the young gentleman appeared with a glass of water to help with this.

The food wasn't at all good. I've never had such dry foccacia. When I mentioned this I was told foccacia is dry! I have actually had foccacia before! When I said this I was told I'll speak to the chef. Person, who I believe was a senior member of staff didn't even bother coming back to us.

Clean tables, notice the restaurant is now more focused on self sitting, ordering and paying via an app. I pre booked my table so needed to know where I was going to be seated. It took quite a while before someone turned up to show me to my table. Once seated advised to order via app or could go to bar. I opted to go to bar. Bar staff friendly. Menu not as extensive as once was but still managed to find a suitable lunch option. Good prosecco offer on a Friday. As I had a voucher I had to pay at the bar so using the app not an option. Overall a pleasant lunch with a friend not too busy for a Friday but missed the interaction with staff we used to get when visiting.

Great staff, got a warm welcome from the male staff member and he and the female staff member were both very friendly and attentive during our visit. Decor and lighting very nice too, created a good ambience. Cosy and relaxing.

Hosted a school reunion at All Bar One and what a great time we had! We were very well looked after by Adam and the food (we had a selection of tapas) and Prosecco. The food was excellent a great choice and they catered very well for various food intolerances. We had a separate area and were able to catch up and we certainly reminisced well and drank lots of Prosecco ! Thank you to Adam and the team for looking after us so well. If you’re planning a get together for a large group can highly recommend.

very freindly greeting and taken straight to our booked table where the ordering process was fully explained , ordered drinks first then looked over the menu , i decided on the steak but unfortunately they werent available , maybe the menu could do with a better choice as i then struggled to make a selection, once odered the food came and both meals were very nice along with a reasonably priced caraffe of wine , really good interaction with all staff that we encountered which helped to make it another very good night at All Bar One, thankyou

Having visited the Manchester branch many times; this branch had more of an atmosphere and greater decor. Very welcoming staff and we used the App and had a free meal - what not to like. Also, some cocktails are only £6 from Sunday to Wednesday and I do like their Aperol Spritz - one of the best. Great night all round

After doing a little shopping in Newcastle city, when here with a Groupon voucher for food and also a few drinks. Our server and barman shaun, was just wonderful, professional, friendly, polite, smiling and happy to help. Made our time at all bar one, a excellent and enjoyable experience. Great tapas lunch, one slightly disappointing choice - crab tacos. Nice cocktails if not as strong as one would prefer. Prawns were very large and yum. Both chicken dishes, great we loved the dip with the Bali skewers.

It's just awesome. Security at the door are brilliant. Service is top notch. The space is absolutely huge. Loved it. Plus they have a champagne lounge ;) Loved it. Was here with my pals on my 50th and will defo visit again with the fam xx
