The staffs are very unprofessional specifically the managers. Food also not good. They don't care about quality.

Quick and easy never had a wrong order

Food standard for MacDonald's. Service absolutely appalling! It took me nearly 15 minutes to pick up one Big Mac. Not particularly busy but all the staff appeared to be walking around in a dream-like state, crossing paths with one another, looks very inefficiently organised? My advice, go to the Fratton branch, always efficient there.

Used the app to order food, but waited for 20 minutes while others were served much quicker. So that didn't work well. Asked one of the staff politely but she said "they were busy". So that didn't work well. Not an expert on McDonald's but others have been much better.

Disappointing Experience with McDonald's Birthday Order I recently organized a birthday party and placed an order with McDonald's, hoping to create a memorable celebration for everyone. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. Upon receiving our order, we discovered that one box was missing a meal. I promptly called McDonald's to address the issue, seeking a resolution for the missing meal. However, the response I received was unhelpful and dismissive, claiming my inquiry was rude. What's particularly disheartening is that there were about 20 witnesses at the party who can attest to the situation. Despite the clear evidence, the lack of assistance left a child without a meal, resulting in genuine sadness during what should have been a joyous occasion. I believe it's essential to share our experiences to help companies improve their services. I encourage McDonald's to review their customer service practices and ensure that valid concerns are addressed promptly and courteously. A celebration should not be marred by oversights and inadequate responses.

Manager was great with my service dog

Food was good and the guy bringing my food was brilliant only reason for low overall rating was that I had to wait whist they fixed my missing items from my order and then bring me only half of what was missing so had to wait again to rectify it always happens here

Food was good. One of the Staff was rude when serving the food. Very bad experience with FOH staff, without even realizing that we have ordered(receipt printing isn't working) ,we just sat and just in a minute they asked us whether we ordered or not it's sounds like not to sit, that was very uncomfortable.

Absolutely useless as normal they couldn’t get a delivery order right if I came in and cooked it myself always orders missing and when you try to ring them there’s no answer.

It was too crowded and the particular waitress who brought our food over was a tad rude. Asides that, twas ok. The crowd is explainable as it's a fast food. Many people were hanging around looking for a spare seat to be seated.

Your typical McDonald's. I liked the food, decently fast service and the store is big and modern. It is clean when there aren't too many people, but usually they are so then it gets dirty. Staff do a good job.

3 Staff members just talking . So dirty .no tables wiped down .food on floor and my food was cold had to go back to counter to get straws and a fork .too busy with the delivery service worst McDonalds I have ever been in

absolutely terrible. the staff are horrible and rude to me and my friends. one of the staff telling us to go home when we weren’t even doing anything. ridiculous

Got spoken by this arrogant girl at the counter who wouldn’t even listen to anything I had to say. She kept telling me to go the machine and then place the order. I wanted to explain that my card was blocked and if I could pay cash at the counter but I never got the chance to speak to her. She assumed that I didn’t know what I was doing there. Stupid new generation who don’t have any intelligence or manners.

Ordered 2 egg & sausage muffin meals. Waited approx. 15 minutes! Staff mainly concentrate on Uber orders, so customers in store get ignored. There were around 10 customers waiting including us. Our hot drinks were made straight away so by the time our food was ready, the drinks were cold so had to ask for them to be re-done. Been to other McDonalds where the store has been divided so that Uber orders are dealt with separately. This store really needs to do the same.

Clean tidy and speedy service to the table after ordering off the app in store.

Too loud, don't know why they close upstairs so early

Those managers, Alex and Joanne are the worst managers i have ever seen. Both are racist and very rude all the time.

Everything was great apart from when I was eating and the person's son walked up and stole our tray what our food goes on and smacked his dad on the head with and the people who work there did not do anything about it but other than that the food was good

It's McDonalds. It's always full of people. But they are fast at what they do. You don't wait very long and the food is always nice and hot. Fries are crispy only if you seat and eat them there. But found a fly in the fries. It happens.

Took forever for the food then it was cold. With all the delivery drivers you can't even get near to the collection point either.

Excellent milkshake and the service was perfect with nice staff

It was date night so no better option to impress my lady than a happy meal of her choice. The chef was on form and the food was a delight 😊

Not happy with my trip to this McDonald’s in Portsmouth, i work in a McDonald’s in surrey and i should receive an employee discount but they didn’t allow me to get the discount even after showing my work schedule website and my account which is only for McDonald’s which was very frustrating. They kept telling me to download the app which had nothing to do with /show employee discounts were available. Haven’t had to pay full price in a McDonald’s since i started working there, definitely not going back. Plus the food took too long to get ready.

INCOMPETENT, Ordered online, got half my order and half of someone elses order but tried to ring but no-one answers.

Busy and well run by staff, especiallyin light of how busy they are. Just wish the delivery drivers would be a bit more respectful in their choice of where to park and to the McDonald's staff.

Poor service, serving higher number order and wiped mine from the board I had to go ask for my food. The would not accommodate a simple change that all other Mcdonalds I've been to have. Overall experience I will avoid in future

I came for some dinner and was absolutely appalled by the staff and there service I think the young girls name was molly and she had a manager scarf on she was so rude and even swore under her breathe it wasn’t too busy and was waiting over 40 minutes for my kids happy meal and my Big Mac meal I won’t be returning wouldn’t even rate my experience one star they really need to find staff with a better attitude towards there customers

They are just awesome delivering food as well customers desires. Their take out service is also awesome.

Waited 15 minutes for a singular meal, not to mention people were coming in after me and receiving theres a lot quicker. Absolute joke. The rest of my party had already eaten their food when I joined them at a table.

After the night we had had experiencing very poor service elsewhere, McDonald's in Commercial Road was like a breath of fresh air. Excellent burger and fries with exceptional customer service. A very nice lady taking our empty tray and wishing us a good evening at the end when we left. Polite, helpful, excellent!

It's okay. Most of the time when I go in there I just get the food and leave as it's quite hectic. When I do need to sit in and eat, it's not been clean and the atmosphere isn't pleasant. Food is okay, I miss the days when their food comes out piping hot and fresh. Not the same anymore.

one thing that sets this Mcdonalds apart from the rest is the dining area host Ian . He always makes my visits special . I would pay top dollar to have this man greet my customers .

Rank food always gives me a bad belly never eat from here again..plus they constantly make mistakes(not rocket science) with your food..try getting a refund when you use the app and you got no chance... useless

We can here a couple of weeks ago as we were out for a shopping day, I have an constant issue were I get misgendered constantly and the manager who was working on that day gendered me correctly he made my day as well as my partners will definitely come again when we are in Portsmouth 😁 when I worked at Mcdonalds this store was always at the top and now I can see why😁

Terrible, Order three burgers and they had forgotten to give us one.

I have found that this macdonalds is kid friendly but..it can get very very hectic. Obviously its macdonalds so it will be busy. When it's busy I find things go downhill. 1 being able to keep it clean and 2 the orders aren't always correct. With deliveries I find it's even more so the incorrect food or amount and some staff who pack it just throw it in the bag. I do go here now and again but I've noticed it's a lot less than I used to as just feel it's going backwards instead of improving.

Awful. Truly terrible. Order wrong three times and teenagers throwing food at small children. No staff around to do anything about it so up to customers to sort out.
