Burger King in Portsmouth

Very clean and fast even though it was sooooo busy, always staff there to help, all fresh and lovely food. Couldn’t ask for a better, cheaper restaurant in gunwharf :)

A true, and fully immersive experience of incompetence

i walked in and instantly was mesmerised by the exotic smell that entered my nostrils, the beefiness of the burger was so good and the fries were extremely crisp and perfectly salty, truly changed my life as before i was extremely depressed and now i am happier than ever as i have eaten this food.

Fast Food at its finest! Great value for food and service! There’s a LOT more room for improvement in terms of cleanliness but a great place to unwind after shopping or before going to the cinema. Diverse staff make it more convenient and kid friendly for all guest from all walks of life. Clean and Safe, Hot and Fresh, Fast and Friendly Restaurant! Keep it up!!!

This is the BEST Burger King ever, after visiting other Burger Kings, in the UK, Italy ans Portugal, I thought that it could get any better than the ones back home. But I loved it, the salad was fresh and the burger was hot and well cooked just how I like it. Not to mention my kid that got a free pen, a map and a crown! I would totally come here again!

My daddy took me to Burger King and I loved it, there was lots of fun! The people behind the counter even played with me so I was not feeling alone! I will never forget this birthday, thank you all for everything! (He loved the manager Josh that was on the shift and a crew member called Harry).

Restaurant was dead, with only 2 families and a table off two the restaurant was filthy. And to top it all off the warmest part off my meal was the milk shake 🤦🏻‍♂️. Not coming back, wouldn’t recommend.

Normally enjoy Burger King but in the gunwharf restaurant I found a very long hair in my burger went to complain and there was a cook with very long hair cooking without a hair net so asked for a refund and left won’t use this restaurant again

We loved the whopper, its one of my favourites. The oreo milkshake is a 10 out of 10 as well. I've been to many Burger Kings but this one I really liked, it is also very close to the sea and you can go for a stroll before or after the meal. Shoutout to Pedro, great customer service.

Went the other day for a meal and I really enjoyed it, specially the onion rings, the service was polite and very helpful.

Good place to grab a quick bite to eat. Cheap, fast and tasty, what more can you ask for? The staff are friendly too - Pedro was lovely.

Very busy. Food was dry. But it turned up quickly. No lids or napkins or straws given had to find them, very low in stock. The meal we ordered had small burgers.

Crime against food Meat dry, chewy, tasteless. Dirty, almost green in color. Bun so hollow it falls apart. Barely any toppings or sauce inside.

It was horrible . Mushed chips and wrappers were all over the floor, the service took ages; and when we finally got our food mine had a piece of a workers glove in it . Will not return (I posted this now but was a few months ago)

A laughable scene, a fast-food fling, Where tidiness didn't ring. Next time it's to the clown not the king of poor hygiene.

Great overall visit whilst in gunwhalf, restaurant was busy but clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. The staff deserve a payrise dealing with some very rude customers, which we witnessed while there. Handled professionally.

Despite it being very busy (very understandable as it’s during Christmas), the staff were working really hard to make sure everyone had their orders at a reasonable time!

I've got real bad food poisoning from here and i know it's from the food i had here because i hadn't eaten anything else. I had the chicken nuggets, bad chicken🤢 Also had an unpleasant smell in there, floors were sticky with drinks, completely ran out of ketchup and had to pay for mayo so no sauce and litter on the floor inside. not very pleasant. And now im very ill 🤡

Food was ok but the service was very poor. 2 out of the 3 dispensing drink machines were completely out, and the remaining drink dispenser only had full fat regular Coke, with no flavours. When I pointed this out to the staff they just walked away and shrugged. I asked for something else and they provided me with 250ml Capri Sun (Only had black current) which is a child's drink, with paper straw to drink with. Surely they should have been aware and should have informed the customers of the issues prior to completing the purchase or at the very minimum a sign to that effect would have done. I will not be going back there again.

Cleanliness was lacking, staff seemed to be losing the will to live. Asked for mayonnaise and was told "mayo is 30p". 30p for MAYO??! If that's true, that's pretty ludicrous. Burger was cold and dry. Not a good BK.

Same as any other Burger king really. Had run out of mayonnaise sachets, the only choice was to buy a plastic pot for 55 pence - rip off! Food OK except the chips had been over salted.

Probably the cheapest place to eat at Gunwharf Quay. Tasty and freshly made, very busy but turn around time quick so managed to find a table without a problem.

Large burger king in Gun wharf quays , it used to be so busy before the ordering system changed to the large tablets whatchamacallets appeared , today it seemed very calm with a sense of order as there wasn't really a queue and the baying hordes of people trampling on each other to get to the front service desk to place their orders. Seemed quite tranquil and humane really.

I went there in person and still the orders are cold. Also The place is filled with flies which really spoils my appetite.

Used here quite a few times, no issues and plenty of seating.

Food was warm at best, but the soda machine was awful, not cold, not fizzy, toilets needed a good clean also. Won't be back here any time soon.

It was dirty , food was mixed , for a eat in didn't even get a plate only it was served in bags and the people working there where moving and behaving like zombies. Overall one of the worst BK I was.

Went here with my family the place was a mess rubbish all inside and outside. Didn’t even have any cold drinks so had to order a coffee on a hot day. Staff should be wearing gloves as they handle your food I didn’t eat my food as there was a hair in my mc chicken sandwich will never go here again.

Dreadful. No soft drinks so it was water or Capri sun. The whoppers were so bad I had to take both back both overcooked cold cardboard. For a very expensive BK is buy far the worst I have ever been to. Never again. Avoid!

Save your money before it’s too late. The burgers are smaller than Eryks left nut. The fries taste like they’ve been held in the storage cubboard for a full on 7 months then smothered with and extra £1.20 cheese dip that tasted of bycycle tyres. The dorito chips were nice. Do NOT get the drinks even if you’ve been in the dessert for a full on year without water; don’t get a drink. It’s more still than my grandma in her grave. Other than that, it’s mid.

I have ordered chicken royal, chilli bites, nuggets and fries. It’s taste was so fresh and delicious.Even service was also fast. Thank you so much for food.

The fries were so good! Freshly made and hot with a reasonable price. It’s the best Burger King’a fries I’ve ever had. The staffs were friendly and helpful too!

Bad all round. Tables not wiped, no fizzy drinks available and our burgers were barely even warm.

So much to say! For starters, I was very pleased to see the area was clean, cleaned by Nathan I believe (Heard the manager say his name). Secondly, the food was gorgeous. The service was excellent. I can't name the three who helped, but I can describe them. A lovely lady with pink hair, a gentleman with brown hair who was giving out the orders. I also came in last week and was served by a young lady with a long singular plait and she was lovely. She was in there today. Excellent place to eat!

All of the staff were very kind and swift with their service. All of the food we received was hot and the good quality we would expect. The restaurant was incredibly busy which is why I have given it 4 stars but the staff seemed to work fantastic as a team to serve everyone. Will be visiting again

It is what you would expect from a Burger King.

Not the best BK I have been to but food came fast after ordering off the kiosk. The dining area looks dingy and wasn't very clean. The food was hot. Chips and burgers were fine. The drinks however were flat and luke warm. Wouldn't recommend ordering any fizzy drinks. Average across the board. Big let down on the drinks though.

Food was nice, shame drinks machine wasn’t working but it happens can’t be helped. No fault of theirs. Had a lovely manager on shift called Thomas who helped me make my wheelchair accessible for the table I chose. Lovely young man.

No hot drinks, cold drinks unavailable in all three vending machines no ice available. What a shambles, come on Burger King.....

Service was ok , but food was really poor. It would not let us do meal deal (you have to book on the screen ) as it kept saying not available so it cost £22.00 for x2 really soggy chicken burgers with half a lettuce leaf and cold chips which tasted as if the had been heated over and over .

worst fast food outlet i have experienced - place was disgusting, staff rude, food cold and poorly prepared. salad was old and hardly anything in the sandwiches. no fizzy drinks or ice cream. Company should be ashamed of themselves.
