McDonald's in Portsmouth

We had a particularly long day and needed some food after not eating all day. We ordered via the app and selected to collect from a “collect and serve” parking bay. After a long winded wait, the food had not appeared. I decided to go into the store to ask what was occurring with our order. When I went into the branch, it was chaos with customers of all ages shouting at staff, staff looking very overwhelmed and overworked, no orderly queuing just people cramming close to the tills to get attention - absolute carnage!! I felt so sorry for the folk working there, who despite being F’d and blinded at and insulted, were remaining calm, professional and working their way through orders to put things right if any errors had been made. The young chap Tommy who sorted my issue out calmly and in a timely fashion, with no mishaps, despite the carnage around him. Complete hats off to every member of staff who was working today, ignore the rude people, not everyone is like that I promise and what you do is appreciated!

Had a chicken salad don’t have it , I had a box full of leaves the were horrible 2 slices of tomato and 2 of cucumber it was awful

I took my 8 year old granddaughter here at lunchtime and was shocked to see teenagers causing mayhem. Swearing, running around, fighting and causing a nuisance. The staff ignored what was happening, we left after a short while, it’s a shame because the majority of children were great but the staff allowed it to continue, I wouldn’t eat in here again with my grandchildren total letdown Macdonalds.

Honestly its pointless having a drive thru here , i can’t remember the last time i haven’t be parked up for simple order. This one being £7. Need to worry more about your customers coming to store then uber/just eat orders constantly.

Poor poor poor sevice cold food rude staff recommend going to different McDonald's or get a 3 pound meal deal from Tesco Also do not get just eat or Uber can 100% say it will be cold items missing order made 30 mins before the driver even turns up then the driver will 4 stops before it will even get to your door

Our food arrived cold and we had to complain about missing items. This is not the first time that is why I have decided to review this Resturant

We ordered 5 meals and mozerella dips at the drive through. The meals included the mcplant so we usually have to park up for 5 minutes. We waited 20 minutes then I went it. I was told they were waiting for one more to cook. When we eventually got the order we were late so didn't check it. Big mistake as they had left out the mozerella dippers. There was no receipt for the meal but I know they were paid for. The food was also like warm.i tried to ring up but of course no-one answered. I have sent a complaint to McDonalds head office.

Eli deserves a raise. Was missing food from my order and eli was very understanding and very helpful with bringing me my proper food and made sure everything was correct with my order lots of respect to him he seems like a very hard worker

Never have the milkshake machine on. Always poor service. Orders never right. Waiting half an hour for a coke. Every time we go here regret it.

I visited early on a Sunday morning with 3 friends and will definitely visit again everything was exceptional and Alicia is an absolute credit to your restaurant and the Macdonald’s Brand her personality and customer service skills are out of this world.The food and drinks we had were all excellent but we will definitely visit again after the customer experience Alicia gave us

A nightmare of a position on a busy stretch of road. Pain to get in, pain to get out. Always super busy. By the time you get it home it is all cold...

We stopped on the way home and was met at the door by a wonderful lady she made sure everyone booked in using the NHS app and the tables and floor was very clean. Her name was Alicia

Pide el desayuno esta mañana. Pedí un McMuffin de salchicha en la caja. Luego revisé mi pedido dos veces cuando fui a pagar para asegurarme de que habían recibido el pedido correcto, ya que tenía que ser simple, solo salchicha y muffin. ¡Vuelve a casa y descubre que tiene queso! Así que uno de nuestra familia se fue sin desayunar porque no había nada más que pudiera comer. Gracias. ¡No volveré a ir aquí nunca más! !

The staff is very friendly and always keeps good smile on their faces while serving. And they made food very quickly as well

Este es el primer McDonald's que ha recibido un pedido incorrecto. No fue un orden difícil, solo para una persona. La comida era la tarifa habitual de McDonald's, de lo que no me quejo. ¡Pedí una bebida Sprite, llevé mi comida y bebida a mi auto y descubrí que me habían dado un batido en lugar de un Sprite! Odio el batido y me sentí mal por probarlo. Lo llevé a McDonald's y ni siquiera se disculparon, solo me dieron un Sprite. ¡Definitivamente no volveré a este McDonald's nunca más!

Really nice and kind customer service from Alicia and balloons from Caroline everyone very nice and food was perfect and quick table service absolutely amazing

Awful customer service from the “customer lead” Chloe? She was rude to other staff members and me when collecting my order. Will never be returning after dealing with her attitude.

Called in on a Tuesday lunchtime for a quick snack. Don't bother with the stupid touch screens, I go straight to the till. Ordered and very quickly a pleasant chap presented me with my meal. It was very good.

Good food fast service burgers tasted hot and fresh Frys were hot and seasoned perfectly. Drink was refreshing

Yuk! McDonald's puts way too much oil in the so-called French fries. It should perhaps be renamed "Oily Goo." It leaves a horrible oily taste in your mouth that not even water can remove. Nasty!

Went for breakfast asked to park up and wait as usual. Food took twenty minutes then sausage and egg mc muffin had no egg. Never in all the years I've used it actually drove through. Terrible

drivethru SLOW...- napkins never given out (why!??!?!) - ask for a tomato sauce...and you are asking too much.. Go inside and the staff a pleasant... but its shabby...and almost always the food is "cool".. Why do we bother...?

It took 10 minutes to get through the Drive-thru with only two cars in front of us. All we had was 3 McFlurrys. We did get an apology about the wait which was good to see they acknowledged the problem.

Usual McDonalds fast food but pleasantly served in a clean environment. Plenty of outdoor parking, drive through, wifi, baby change and outdoor seating available here. Open 7am to 11pm.
